Global Income Coin, a crypto non-profit company led by co-founders Jeffrey Milewski, Garm Lucassen and Jasper Driessens, raised $2 million to launch a new cryptocurrency that ultimately will provide a universal basic income of $1 a day to any person in the world. The funding comes from a personal donation of Sid Sijbrandij (co-founder and CEO of GitLab) and will be used to help fund operations, expand the team, and perform R&D.

LibreCurrencyis a French based Crypto UBI system that only allows those with 5 people vouching for them to join the network. It has a very strong Web of Trust, and marketplace. There is a desire to bring more people in the US to join this system, and to do so we've started by creating aTelegram group to support this effort
