What cryptid/folklore monster is this?

A few weeks ago I watched a video on a crypid from Alaska (maybe I don't remember) and I forgot the name. Info: It can kill whoever you want but if it can't it'll kill you, It is made from the corpses of animals aswell as a human child and you put them in the ocean to awaken it, and It is always said to be wet even if it's out if the water. Please help me find out what it is and thank you

If you were getting chased by cryptids (they don't stop until they catch you), who do you think has the highest chance of getting you?

Do you have any questions for a Mothman eyewitness?

(I’m posting this in a couple different places so a lot of people can have a chance to add questions)

I’m doing my senior thesis on the Mothman and how his story has evolved over time.

I plan to do an interview with Faye Dewitt Leporte, one of the best known eyewitnesses of the Mothman, to get her story. Before I ask her to do it, I’d like to have the interview questions compiled.

If you guys have any questions for her, please leave them here and I’ll pick some to ask her if she accepts the interview.

18th century mystery

Between 1764-1767, a south east region in France became gripped with terror. A beast of unknown origin stalked and attacked the populace around the province of Gévaudan.

European cryptids?

I’m fairly new to the cryptid scene, and I was curious to see if anyone knows anything about cryptids in mainland Europe. From my understanding, or at least from what I’ve heard and seen online, most of the hype/information out there seems to circulate around the American continents, USA and Canada being the main countries that carry these stories (with the exception of Nessie in Scotland). I’m Lithuanian, and was interested to know whether there are any sightings or legends of cryptids in the general Baltic/Eastern European area, - I personally haven’t heard of any, and a google search only turns up creatures from mythology, which I’m not quite sure falls under the cryptid title. If anyone knows anything about this, I would highly appreciate being educated about it! Thanks :)

Would a search helicopter be a viable way of searching for cryptids?

Obviously with Thermal scoping to scan for them, but would it be effective? Would they avoid the copter? Could they somehow interfere with it? I’m not an expert on this topic, but I need to know.

What is the STUPIDEST cryptid account/report you’ve ever heard

For me easily that kid who claimed “a cryptid” was outside his window and he the drew it (the drawing was of Alistor from Hazbin hotel but with antlers and a halo)

We go hunting for the Loch Ness monster and stumble across lots of cryptid history in Scotland

We’ve been investigating UK cryptids for around a year now. We had the pleasure of chatting with Geoff Holder who wrote a series of books about the mysteries of Scotland. The perfect person to help guide us on our latest quest!
