Road Construction workers outside our building keep cutting access to our water supply everyday. What can I do?
We live in a small 3-apartment building in Crown Heights by St Johns and Norstrand Ave, where construction's been going on over the past 3 weeks - some pavement work and re-doing the roads. The construction team keeps cutting off water to our building and we don't have water every morning for several hours. We've asked the building manager and she's baffled they just do it without permission.

Rat in Yellow Crocs
Hi everyone, if you see bright yellow crocs on the corner of Prospect Place and Franklin Ave (literally outside Screamers) just beware that someone most likely placed them there intentionally.. I went to move them out of the way, but there is a dead rat inside. I didn’t take a photo because no one wants to see that. Posting as a warning to use extra caution if you have a dog or small child(ren) that may interact with things on the ground.

Best cinnamon roll in the neighborhood?
Just the title^ Looking for a little pick me up sweet treat in or right outside the neighborhood
Update- I got the one from Winner, I wasn’t blown away by it (also person handed it upside down to me and the frosting was all stuck to the lid lol) Good texture of fluffy dough but not very strong cinnamon flavor and frosting almost had a citrusy lemon? taste that was a bit overpowering. Going to try all the other recs in the next few weeks & will report back!

Package theft
Anyone else experiencing uptick in package theft off the mail truck? Our building has had a bunch of packages be stolen off the struck prior to delivery. We're also experiencing a new rash of packages ebing stolen right after they've been delivered. Makes me wonder if something is going on in the mail route or maybe someone is just casing our building and wanted to see if anyone else has similar experiences!

I called 311 who redirected me to the DEC number, where I left a message. The other option was driving the big guy to midtown where there’s a bird rescue, but I had to get to work. Does anyone know what happened to this bird??
