ISO quick blanket patterns (can be finished in a couple weeks)?

Hi everyone! I’m a beginner to intermediate crocheter and need some help finding a pattern. I want to make two blankets, one for my mother-in-law and one for her sister by Christmas. I’ve crocheted and knitted several blankets before, and can do pretty much all the standard crochet stitches. I have over 50 hooks so I’m sure I’ll have the size I need, just might have to buy some yarn. The only type of blanket I don’t want to make is a “hand knit/crochet” blanket (the ones that use jumbo yarn and have HUGE stitches). Any ideas for me?

I’m a newbie to crochet, can you please help me read this pattern

Hello, please can you help! I'm new to crochet, I've only done one ever project from a kit. But I'm struggling to read this pattern from Irene Strange. Please see the photo, the round 20 reads : 12dc (dc2tog) 2 times, 6dc (dc2tog)2 times, dc to end. Does this mean I do the 12 dc first then the decrease, then go back to do the other 12. Or do I continue and do the 6dc, and circle back round to the 12? Thanks!

Can anybody give me tips on how to make this pattern?

A coworker brought a blanket to work and the pattern looks like something I’d be interested in trying out. Can anyone either identify the stitch or how to do it?

Anyone know this pattern or any ideas on how I can start if I were to freehand?

Or even if you have a pattern for just the cups!

Potholders that will look good in teal and purple?

Hey gang! This is my first christmas with my girlfriend, and I'm spending it with her family. I'm making potholders for her mom, whose favorite colors are teal and purple, and I'd like to show off a little bit - most of the patterns I've found so far are beautiful, but look like they could be store-bought.

Here's the yarn I'm using! https://www.lionbrand.com/products/24-7-cotton I have it in dragonfly, and I'm debating between lilac, eggplant, and beets for the purple.

Thanks so much!

Found this knitted sweater on TikTok and want to try to crochet something like it, does anyone have a pattern? beginner friendly

I really like the slouchy-ness of the sweater vest and would want to use a yarn similar in size. Also something that isn’t going to use to many crazy stitches or take ages to make, i only know the basics. thanks!

Looking for free/VERY cheap patterns for Christmas tree ornaments.

Been trying to get into something like this but I wanna do it so that it can be on the Xmas tree balls and can starched/mod-podged onto said balls.

No. Not testicle balls. I just don't know what else I can call them???

Looking to compile a list of useful crochet patterns

Sorry for the long title but this sub requires a title that has at least 50 characters. I’m just searching for free patterns for actual useful crochet items. Not toys or granny squares but things that people will actually use. Thank you!

Lost pattern from a good ten years ago. Yes. I can recreate it, but you know.

I don't recall if it was meant to be a placemat or coaster or something entirely different. Google lens hasn't been helpful.

Hello!! I am a writer and crocheter who is looking to create little figures of my characters! Any patterns you guys have would be greatly appreciated :)

I am also to be a tester for any WIP patterns that fit this bill

Looking for small and quick amigurumi patterns that use super bulky yarn

It can be anything as long as it's cute, and the pattern is free. I'm trying to make small crocheted gifts for christmas, but can't really find ones that use super bulky yarn, and as of right now that's pretty much all I have. Thanks in advance!

Looking for crochet towel holder patterns, no rings, no elastics, please!

I am looking for crochet towel holder patterns without the use of rings or elastics as I don’t have either. I also do not want to sew into the towels. At this point I may just go at it myself bc I am getting frustrated trying to find a pattern without these things even though ik they definitely exist. Ik it’s something simple I could probably do on my own I’m just busy and was hoping for a pattern I could just follow. Thank you!

Looking for help for this crochet mini doll please!

I'm looking to create a mini doll for my boyfriend as a gift. This will be my first time making one, and I have no idea where to start. If anyone could share a pattern and tutorial videos, I would be very grateful! 🙏🏼

I would like the doll to resemble the photo, but no wings and microphone. I want the face to be exactly like it, with darker brown hair and the beard.
