Lid getting stuck

Hey guys!! I am getting a little problem since I clean the cooling united. Every time the lid of the capsule is getting stuck on the filter… I feel like it’s kind of “clingy”…

I got a craft+ and use iso alcohol, let it sink for about an hour then wash in running water

Mighty Plus for lightweights

Hey gang. I have never vaped before but have been wanting to switch for a while. I pulled the trigger last week on a Mighty Plus, and will use it for the first time tomorrow.

I’ve been reading posts, and it’s hard for me to anticipate what to expect as most folks seem to use a lot more weed than me. I fluctuate between and eighth and a quarter ounce a month. I smoke between 2-5 times a week (when my kid isn’t with me), and only at night.

My normal session is just a bowl or maybe a .5g dog walker, and either usually takes me 2-3 hours to finish.

Should I expect the dosing capsule to last me this long? I’m gonna pack it full (probably more than “loose”). Will I get through it in one session? Will it possibly carry over? And if it carries over will it be harsh when I get back to it the next day?

Thanks!

New Mighty+ Owner - First vape purchase

I posted a few weeks ago showing the fake mighty+ I (accidentally) purchased from eBay. Well I got 100% of my money back and decided to just bite the bullet and buy from a reputable dealer. This bad boy came from Planet of the Vapes and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Yes it’s expensive but you get what you pay for. I took it on a snowboarding trip last weekend and it performed very well for 2-3 of us to pass around. The battery lasted at least 10 bowls, it got down to 25% and I threw it on the charger for the next day. If you’re on a group setting, or going to be away from a charger for a couple of days, this device kicks ass. Before purchasing this I was basically sold on a Crafty+, I’m really glad I went with the mighty instead. Stealth and portability aren’t huge for me, I do most of my usage at home. I do plan on taking this on vacations or day trips to the beach or hiking. In which case I carry a backpack anyways.

What temps do you guys like to go with? After a week I’ve found this to be a pretty good workflow

-Start at 365 for 2-3 rips -Bump to 385 for 2 rips -Go to max 410 for 2-3 biiig juicy hits

That will get me thoroughly cooked, and tbh It will even get 2 of us cooked.

Loving the Mighty+, super happy with my purchase, and it makes me want to pick it up and vape it when I’m not even planning on vaping at that time.

New mighty finally came in, impressed, not floored

After waiting forever it finally came in and would appreciate some tips. Tried it through a water piece but it did not taste great which is the biggest thing it has going for it. The tickle is so real, it’s not harsh but if I inhale too fast I die coughing because it always catches me off guard(maybe terp pearls will help?). The jump from Xmas v3 pro is not life changing. Vapor quality is much better though taste is so much better it actually tastes…good haha. Honestly the price tag is wayyyy too high for what it is and wouldn’t recommend buying at full price (I got for 20% off on POTV). If I had to go back and do it again I would’ve maybe bought a firefly 2 that’s fully convection and a cheaper puffco so I could do concentrates separately. I have yet to try concentrates in the mighty. Overall absolutely love the device and am happy I got it because my lungs are already thanking me. I also really like that i can tell when the bowl is cached and it won’t burn like V3 (also like the smaller bowl). The V3 just kept producing smoke that would get super super harsh. I’m really enjoying the mighty at lower temps. Overall 7/10, hopefully one day I can afford a volcano which the only time I’ve tried was an absolute 10/10 felt like just inhaling steam, but no big complaints. I’m ballin rn so I could afford to spend the $260, but if I was super stretched for cash and thought this was gonna change my life I would be disappointed. This device is perfect for someone who is going from combustion to vaping, not so much someone who has a decent vape already. If I was going from only ever smoking a pipe to this I would be ecstatic.or if u have a really shitty DHV lke a yocan flora or whatever $60 you can get at a smoke shop then this device is a game changer as well.

Just got a Venty. Honest first review as someone who uses Crafty+ as a daily driver.

I finally got a Venty yesterday after months of sipping my Crafty+ on the sidelines. Somebody said it cured their VAS, so I figured it was worth a shot. Disclaimer: I love my Crafty+.

I was finding the Crafty+ to have too much draw resistance and it was honestly starting to give me lung fatigue after long sessions. Plus the battery life was always annoying to deal with and I was carrying about a portable phone charger with me everywhere I went. I've owned several dry herb vapes over the years including the MFLB, Arizer V Tower, Pax, Dynavap M, and most recently the Crafty+. I figure we need more reviews from Crafty+ users so here's my honest opinion.

Overall

I can safely say that the Venty is the best vape I've ever used. The Venty just hits different. It smacks you in the face. It honestly reminds me of the first time I tried one of those huge bongs back in high school, except it is smooth cool vapour. The high feels cleaner and sessions are incredibly quick compared to consuming similar amounts through a Crafty.

Airflow

The airflow control is truly next level. It feels like breathing from a Volcano bag but even nicer in my opinion due to form factor and the on-demand nature. I also think it is cooler air than the Volcano, maybe due to the lack of fresh air coming into Volcano bags. There is no draw resistance if you choose to set it at the highest level. This is a serious game changer for people who have sensitive lungs.

Heater

You can heat this thing up in what feels like 10 seconds. It also responds to whether you are drawing in or not, and heats up accordingly. I can clear a bowl in a minute if I tried. 180C is nicest to me, I find the boosted temperatures a bit unnecessary - you might be able to get a few more hits out at 195 or 205 but it isn't substantial enough to really focus on imo. Whereas I felt the Crafty required slow temp stepping to get everything out of the flower, this isn't the case here with the Venty. It feels like the Crafty has literally evolved into a higher form, Pokemon style. I am even reusing the dosing capsules and other accessories from the Crafty+ ecosystem, so that's a nice bonus.

Vapour Quality

I was seriously contemplating getting a water cooling attachment or glass adapter for the Crafty because the vapour was so hot and dry. I hate complicated and breakable glass additions though so I was trying my best not to go that direction.

With the Venty, I don't have that feeling yet of "wow I need to cool this vapour down". It is cool and fresh. It feels as close to breathing fresh air that I've ever seen on a vape. I think if I vaped this through a water piece I would probably pass out due to the sheer amount of cooled vapour that I would be able to inhale, so I'm good.

Battery
I am already blasted after 1/4 of the battery is used with the Venty. I no longer am worried about the battery life like with the Crafty which could barely last for 1 long session. I don't think I could finish a Venty battery in 1 session if I tried. It could probably last like 5+ sessions.

Form/Controls
I really like the size and ergonomic feel of it so far. It is easy to drop though and it is heavy af compared to the Crafty. Very intuitive. I think I will mostly keep this thing at home.

Cons (Pricing)
I am painfully aware it is fucking expensive. Priced way too high. Robbery. I will probably never buy another product from Storz and Bickles again (out of spite boycott) until prices come down to an accessible level for average people. I value my health enough that I shelled out on the Venty. It seems promising so far and I'm not having issues related to hot air / draw resistance like with the Crafty+ and virtually every other vaporizer I've owned/tried.

Will I get another vape in the future? Probably not, I don't think I need to.

Do I think you should get this vape? It depends on how much you care about airflow or battery ultimately. If you have no problem with your Crafty/Mighty, I wouldn't upgrade tbh. Wait for the next model, or wait for the price to come down.

Will I use the Crafty+ still? Yes. I have it cleaned, charged-up, and ready to go whenever the Venty runs out of battery, or whenever I'd rather not carry a giant space taser around. The Crafty is still preferable for excursions and it feels tougher. Think of the Crafty like a vape joint and the Venty like a vape chillum.

Just bought a Venty - new to vaping flower, user-error?

Hello everybody. I just bought my first vape, a Venty. I did a bit of homework before, did 3 burnoff sessions, disassembled and cleaned the CU and O-rings. I grinded my flower medium to fine, packed the bowl, but didn't press the herb, so it was full and airy, heated to 195 Celsius, airflow to 2, long inhale, no vapor. I finished the bowl with very very little vapor, and to be honest, no taste of flower. I also feel like something is probably not tight and air escapes. I triple-checked that every o-ring is in the correct position and that everything is tight. I did another bowl, same issue. Am I doing something wrong? Can there be something wrong with the vape? I am running out of ideas ..flower is at around 58-60% rh before grind

Venty No Passthrough Charging?!

Hi all. Wanted to check to see if this is just my unit. I couldn’t find it anywhere in the docs so I am quite surprised. Does the Venty not support passthrough charging? My Mighty+ does support and I can’t believe the Venty does not being a more expensive device! TIA!

What happend to S&B??? 2nd venty to go out on me. Do not buy the Venty. Lost faith in this company.

2nd venty to bite the dust absolutely ridiculous, already received the free case and new venty for their first mishap. Bought at launch they replaced the first venty, gave a free case that had the same amount of quality control, the case barely lasted 3 months and the entire stitching around the zipper just fell off. Now the new venty is showing errors in colors I’ve never seen before. This is unacceptable of a device I’ve paid 500$ for. So what now another RMA or are they going to actually create a device that works. I’ve purchased two mighty+ and they both still work flawlessly to this day, so don’t think I am just hating on S&B. Just trying to save others from the same misery I’ve had with the venty.

Device pending on website

Hey so my amazing mighty broke on me last week, at the time I thought it was an issue with the charger but now I've realized It's the actual device.

Anyways I'm trying to go through the rma process right now but I don't see this option anywhere, Do I have to wait until it has registered the device if so anyone have an idea on how long it will be?

Might+ vs Venty vs Volcano

I currently have the Mighty+ but I’ve been reading a lot about how the Venty and volcano kick its ass. I live in Texas so it’s tough to really just walk around with a dry herb vape actually using it. I guess I take it places sometimes. If I’m going to make the next plunge, just get the Volcano? Sorry if that’s confusing haha.

Looking for an OG mighty case

Anyone find a good bag for the mighty?Ideally cheaper than the S&B one. Something I can fit a grinder some tools the mighty the WPA etc all of the essentials for taking to a friends house (ideally with a combination and smell proof for legal purposes).

Just got my RMA device

I returned my second Crafty last week after 450 hours of use, today i received my brand new Crafty+, which is a nice step up for the low price the charge for a "repair"

Interesting to see the mouth piece has a little gap so i can bite down on it and hold it hands free easier than the old model

There is a big difference in the pull and level of flavour compared to my old device and my mighty, even though i clean the cooling chambers regularly. I wonder what I'm missing in my cooling routine that means it's losing pull?

Is there a way to keep the body clean so the airflow remains this good for longer?

Mighty dosing caps and cleaning

Hello everyone, I clean my Mighty Medic using Isopropyl alcohol 100%, as recommended with great success. I soak my used caps in a small jar of Iso which progressively becomes infused with the flower resin. Is it worth my while to treat the dissolved resin and scrape out some hash? Also, I'd be super interested to hear what method everyone uses to clean their caps. Thanks

Venty vs Volcano Hybrid

I have a Crafty and a Volcano Classic, looking to get an upgrade.
I've been using the Crafty exclusively for a year, but in the last 2 months I've been using the Volcano daily and it's much better. So I was dead set on getting a Hybrid but I keep reading good things about the Venty...

Any suggestions?

Crafty+ weird behavior?

I’ve bought a Crafty+ and received it about a month ago. Been hitting hard and enjoying it a lot. But lately has been weird. I set it up up to 180°C (& 120s count down timer) and it delivers great vapor and terpene profile. With 2 taps on power button increases up to 190°C and ‘bout 15s later that it reaches temp I start inhaling, just to bake it a little more. Delivers low terpene profile (Not complaining, it’s the way it is. The way it works) and pretty low vapor cloud. Finally with 3 taps on power button it reaches 205°C (210°C it’s the max) it doesn’t hit at all and the flavor is obviously erased from the equation.

My question is: Is it normal? This is how it behaves always?

Last but not least 👉🏼 Battery: It barely makes half day, I think it lasts 5 heat cycles. Is this how it works? Hate it doesn’t have interchangeable batteries.
