What would you like to see out of a blog?
Happy Halloween!!!
This is my first time posting here. I’m in the process of starting a beer blog and wanted to gauge what kind of content is most enjoyed. I’m based out of the Hudson Valley region in NY and look to highlight breweries around here. Any suggestions are welcomed! Sláinte 🍻
Beer is Basically Pumpkin by Talea Brewery in Brooklyn.

Count Orlok. Dark ale with pumpkin and spices, from Urban Chestnut.
Compared to most pumpkin beers I’ve tasted, this is notably less sweet. Much more of a typical dunkel with bonus pumpkin and a touch of cinnamon.

To save some money (and calories) this last month I partook in “Sober October.” Decided to celebrate the end with a drink at my local brewery.
This brew is “Sherry Baby.” A Baltic porter. As the name implies, a bit on the sweet side, but it definitely has a great balance of dark malt and the clean “lager-y-ness” of the style. If I bought some for home, I might drink it a bit warmer, (especially since it’s cold enough outside today already) but otherwise it was a great cap to my month.

Craft Beer Help
Gout has effectively took the only joy left in my life. I LOVE BEER so so much that my first and second wives are long gone. So is my new girlfriend but the pain of gout and recent kidney stones has finally ended my daily double digit Ugar Concrete Jungle consumption. For those of you that have not experienced a gout flareup or the passing of a kidney stone it’s the equivalent of having BIRTH 2x. It brings you too your knees. YOU WILL CRY. I’m asking if anyone in our group knows of a craft beer that does not produce URIC ACID. UA is in foods but it’s a triple threat in beer. Craft beers are worst. Please help.
