My favorite cows are Scottish Highland cows and I got to meet one 🥹🤎 I told him how beautiful he was and I hope to meet his cousins in Scotland one day 😌
I am thinking about getting some steers next year but I am concerned about keeping them through winter. If I am trying to turn a profit, what weight should I start with in the spring and how long should i keep them?
He’s only 38 days old. He lays down by himself most of the day. I bottle feed twice a day.
hi everyone i'm feeling a lot of love for my favorite girl, Blorbo, right now. i need to share her with yall. here is her headshot!
I found this old photo of my grandad in south east Asia as part of his job as a sailor. I am absolutely fascinated by the animal in front of them but can’t find a similar looking cow online anywhere? Please help cow experts and enthusiasts!
I've been challenged by a co-worker to eat EVERY part of a cow by the end of 2025. I found a solid breakdown of muscle cuts & plan to add brain, heart, liver, tripe, & tail. To be clear, I only have to eat a bit of every part of a cow, not a whole cow (thank God!) for the year. Anything I'm missing? Any recipe recommendations?

Maybe this is a very stupid question, lol, but I am curious.
I was watching a video about cockroach farms in China for human use (food and cosmetics).
Thinking about it a little, cockroaches are very good at separating organic waste from plastics and metals, and then it’s very easy to separate the cockroaches from the rest of the residues. So you are converting free trash from cities into (valuable?) food.
But can cockroaches then be used to feed cows and other farm animals?
