I wanna ask a question as I got some very different answers to an activity for the digital marketing course, but I suddenly find the discussion forum is gone? As are all the past assignments that made use of them? What’s up? Why did this happen? Is something down or did it get removed?
Was in the middle of a test, course 3 of a cert, and it logged me out. The site failed to load for a couple of minutes after, then when it finally did, it says I am 0% complete. I cannot load the course content.
I checked the site status and it says all is working fine....
Any suggestions?
I started a course with the 7-day free trial and finished it before being charged the €72. I was wondering if I could get the certificate if I sign up for Coursera Plus next month, or if I would need to pay the original €72 plan just for the certificate.
Thanks for your help in advance
For some reason, all of my progress got erased. I'm halfway through my certificate, and I've always used the same login. I login through my organization, so it's never changed. I contacted support, and they told me I somehow have two different accounts under the same email (my work email), but like I said, I've used the same login ever since I started, and have only made one account, so I'm not sure how that is. Support said they were going to merge the accounts, and I would have all of my progress back, when I went to log in through my organization like usual, it said I can't login, and that there's a problem with my account. I'm honestly about to stop using Coursera, and find something else.
Hello,
I found out that my Coursera Plus subscription was auto renewed on Dec 7th. Today isDec 10th well within the 14 days period but cancellation option is grayed out under My Purchases. I sent them an email but I am in a panic.
I'm wondering if anyone dealt with a similar issue and how they went about getting a refund. Thank you.
Edit and update 1 - I have a response from their customer service saying that 14 days grace period only applies to first purchase and not renewals... They are now asking for the amount I paid to request a refund. They said they would request for a refund.
Update 2: the first customer agent closed my case without escalating further. I had to contact them again and now they have escalated my case. I am waiting for a response from their customer specialist within 24 hours.
Update 3: I received my refund on the same day the case was escalated
The title says it all. I asked for a refund last Nov. 19 and it was given to me as a one-time exemption on Nov. 20, however, I still haven't received any refund and was charged again for another month last Dec. 9! (I hate this sh**) I asked my bank for help but they said I should have a reference number for the refund.
Does anyone here had their reference number for their refund? Please help me out I'm super desperate! 😭😔
It's not a graded assignment & I already did my graded assignment & it says 0 outstanding assignments, however I'm wondering if not doing the other assignments will it negatively affect me cause I'm on financial aid ? But I do not have a laptop I'm doing it all from my phone
I recently applied for financial aid for the Andrew Ng machine learning course. However, I put down that I can only afford £10, but after calculating my finances I can only afford between £5-7. I don’t think I can edit my application now. What should I do? If the financial aid is approved, is there a fixed price that they offer everyone, or do they just give u the course for free.
I am looking to learn more about SPSS but I did not see any courses that seemed to cover it. I am new to the subject so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi guys I missed the black Friday discount and I'm so sad about it, has anyone had any luck getting the discounted price after the offer ended? Thought I'd just ask in case there's a glimpse of hope :(
So I started a course last year, "Organization Analysis", due to some issues I wasnt able to complete or attempt anything after module 1. I also failed the quiz of module 1. Since the last month, I have resumed againa and have gone through the remaining 10 modules/quiz. Whats left is the quiz of module 1. I applied on retake. But ever since clicking on it, whenever i click on resume option, the screen goes to loading. I dont know what to do or how to give the quiz. Please assist if you can. Thank youu
If anyone else is in the course is waiting on peer reviews, pls login and help your boy out. Im trying to move on in the course. I'm also doing a bunch of reviews as well. Currently at 12 reviews, reviews date back to Aug 😬
I am about to start either Microsoft or Google's UX design course and really am interested in the Microsoft version but i cant find any reviews and cant seem to open ANY of Coursera's reviews to read them even if i am logged in and on mobile or desktop. I would add platform issue flair but i would like to see reviews more..
I'm in the cybersecurity field and I wanted to see if I could get the Google Cybersecurity Certificate before the 7 day free trial period ended, which I've just done. But now it's saying that I can't actually redeem it until my subscription starts. Do I really have to pay Coursera in order to redeem my certification? Or am I understanding this wrong? Here's the message popup:
"You're in a 7-day free trial"
"You can access your certificate on December 5, 2024 when your free trial ends and your subscription starts."
Which front-end and back-end development course should I choose: Meta, Microsoft, or IBM?
This may be a pretty specific question, and I'm not sure how much help I'll get, but for my Coursera payment method, I usually select PayPal and use the rewards that I accumulate with my credit card. When I just went to purchase a course with this method, only my credit card showed up in PayPal, not the option to pay with my rewards. Anyone know what the issue might be?
HI,
Does anyone have any favorite YouTube videos for help with the peer graded assignments for IBM Data Science, IBM Data Analyst, and IBM Cybersecurity Analyst?
I need some help using the external resources and the step by step.
Thanks!
I subscribed to Coursera last January 2024. I have paid but for personal reason have not been able to use it at ALL. I just realized that (maybe?) I could have paused my membership but I never found out until now. That's on me, and I feel real stupid about it.
I have paid CAD$271 but now the renewal it's CAD$540!
The message I received is:
You will be charged 271.00 (plus applicable taxes) for your first billing cycles and then 540.00 (plus applicable taxes) for the remainder of your subscription.
WTH does that mean. My total is $271+540? My total is $540? What????
Since I haven't been on Coursera for a whole year since I paid, and I cannot find any help or an email address to send a message I have cancelled.
They DO NOT make it easy to email to a real person to find help.
My questions were: Can I get the previous rate? I know you must have some Black Friday rates, where is the information? Will I have access to the previous courses I have taken and paid for?
And... Why is it so FREAKING HARD to find help on your website?
I'd love to give you some more of my money but when I click on "contact us" in the email they just sent me it goes to Zendesk and gives my this message:
"The company you're looking for is no longer using our help center. We suggest reaching out to them directly via their official website"
What is going on with Coursera, is it a scam site now???
I'd appreciate any help.
A few days ago, I received an email stating that there is a Black Friday deal on Coursera that is going to end on December 2nd at 11:59 UTC. However, today I received a WhatsApp message from the official Coursera account stating that the sale is going to end tomorrow, December 1st. I am currently saving money to make a purchase, but December 1st is a Sunday and a bank holiday, so I won't be able to deposit the funds. I'm confused about the actual deadline for the sale. According to my time zone, the sale should end on the morning of December 3rd. Could you please clarify the correct end date and time for the Black Friday sale?
I have recently completed the above mentioned specialization course and now I'm waiting for it to get reviewed by others. Those who have done this course if you can please review it, would really be helpful.

THANK YOU!
Hi everyone,
Putting this here. Anyone thinking of doing this specialization should think hard about it. The first two courses are well built. Knowledge is built step by step and each practise follows clear tutoring.
The last course (PCA) however is bullcrap. The topic is complex by nature and the lectures are unstructed and critical steps are skipped leaving one not only scratching their heads but pulling hair out. To this add that out of the blue the tutor starts using mathematical notation, again, without explaining what it means. Imagine someone explaining some concpet to you writing down y+x = |z| without explainng what the +, || and = signs mean, and this here is much more complicated. People who are interested in this course likely have a good math grounding but unless you did core math at college level this notation is totally different language.
Going through the forums I note that this is not just my experience but that of a ton of others since a long time (4 years at least), and the course was not improved. There are a lot of people who unenrolled at this stage.
Buyer beware. Sadly, you have been warned.
Is there any website or something where we can get answers ? I'm stuck in a quiz and this one's the last one.
Thanks.
Hey
I have applied for a course in May
I have gotten busy and couldn't complete my entire course, so I had to stop midway. Today I had spared time and tried finishing part of the course. But when I try to submit an assignment, it's asking me to pay for a premium subscription saying my due date to finish the course was Nov 22. How can I solve this issue?
HELLO . Will anyone be kind enough to pay for me the black friday sale of Coursera plus. I am from India, still can't find a job. It will greatly help me in advancing my career.
I will be very grateful to your kindness. Pls. 🙏
Hello everyone, I’m about to finish a course using my 7 day free trial , but I’m wondering if i’ll get the certificate or will i have to pay in order to get it ? If so , how much would it normally be . Thanks
I signed up for courser plus last year on a $299 annual deal. It says it expires on December 3. Where I'm at (USA), there're offering $160 off an annual subscription to courser plus but the deal expires on December 2. Is it possible for me to cancel my current annual membership early to get in on this deal? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Amazon has a new Professional Certificate on Coursera, Amazon Junior Software Developer Professional Certificate. With all the bad rep Amazon's work culture has, I wanted to see if their own program on Coursera would be rigorous or not.
If it helps anyone, I've gone through the first course, Introduction-to-software-development, I think it is pretty tough. It moves pretty fast through the basics of software engineering and java programming. I am not a fan of the presenter's delivery, but you'll learn tons through the labs and exercises. Will this get you a job? Absolutely not, but it's a start.
You’ll learn the basic of Java such as syntax, variables, classes, methods, loops, and some Object Oriented concepts like Abstract classes, Interfaces, Inheritance and Polymorphism. Videos are there to supplement, but the labs are really where all the learning will happen. A downside to the PAs is that the sample outputs aren’t always what the auto-grader expects. The auto-grader does provide clear feedback, however.
The next course, Programming-with-Java, claims to go more in-depth with the language. Additional, a quick peek suggests you’ll be building on the project from the previous course. I am personally a fan on incremental improvements as it more closely resembles the real world. Let’s see what the rest of the cert has in store for us.
Disclaimer: My opinions are influenced by my experiences outside of this course. I am already a software engineer and I learned all of this while I was getting my CS degree. What you’re learning this Coursera course in 4 weeks, I learned in a full semester (16-weeks), hence why I think this course is tough and moves quite fast.
Hi Guys,
Ive just tried to enroll for the ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) course, and it's basically saying that to enroll is to access a 7-day free trial - but I have a 12 month subscription with Coursera already. Do I have to pay additional fees if it takes me more than 7 days to complete this? I'm a bit confused - I have tried googling, but I'm not having any luck with answers. Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I struggled with reseting my course deadlines for a couple weeks so I figured I’d post it here.
Sometimes you will not see the “Reset Deadlines” option on the Coursera website. Even when you have ‘past due’ assignments. I went to the ‘Grades’ section and there was no reset option as suggested online. I couldn’t find it anywhere.
For some reason this option is only available to me on the MOBILE app. If you download the app on Android/iOS you should be presented with an option to reset your deadlines.
Hope this helps!
