This sub is for INDIVIDUALS that want to buy or sell new and used cosplay items or that create and sell original cosplay related content. This sub may also be used to advertise if you are a commissioner for hire. Advertisements for vendors and companies selling mass produced items will be deleted. If you find something made by another and want to share it here that is fine as long as it adheres to the rules. All sales and trades are your own responsibility. If you are scammed you may post a warning here but otherwise you are on your own.
TIPS FOR NEW BUYERS:
Check the post history of the seller. This can help weed out new throwaway accounts or accounts with a history of comments saying they were scammed.
Avoid spending more than you can afford to lose. Ask yourself, if this person does scam me, am I in financial trouble?
Do not give out more personal information than necessary. If a seller starts asking for more than basic shipping information report them to a Mod.
Do all transactions in writing and keep copies of the dialogue or other pertinent info. This can help when reporting a user.
RULES:
Be nice to each other
No misleading posts/fraudulent posts/etc.. if you think someone is lying about a commission or item being sold report them.
No spamming. Accounts spamming the same items too frequently or unrelated posts will be banned.
No large businesses. Individuals selling used items and commissioners selling handmade gear is the purpose of this sub.
Innapropriate behavior of any kind will be judged by a moderator on a case by case basis and rules not listed here may be enforced as they are discovered. If in doubt refer to rule 1 or ask a mod.
Mark your posts appropriately using words or common acronyms: FS (for sale), WTB (want to buy), CFH (commission for hire), CW (commission wanted). Ambiguous posts may be removed.

UK-Based 3D Prop Makers Available?
Would like to ask if there are any UK-based 3D Prop Makers out there who would be able to both print and assemble an item?
Have been considering setting together a dedicated cosplay related to Resistance: Fall of Man and while this STL is ideal I obviously don't have the means to which to print it - truth be told, I wouldn't know the first thing about it. Would like to know if there's anyone fairly "local" in a sense who would both be able to print and assemble something similar to this?

Costail for sale in UK?
Anybody got a Costail for sale in the UK?
I know Cosgear went under and is trying to claw its way back up, but doesn't seem to be coming back very quickly. So I want to know if anyone has one they're selling second hand.
I know the Tail Company has its MiTail, and I have one, but I find it's very obviously mechanical: the movements are either randomly generated, unrelated to my own movements (using my phone to sense my steps to trigger a movement does not work, no matter where on my body I put the phone), or I'm staring at my phone to pick the next one (a spotter can work it, but I find that's better for a scripted act than just walking around). I want something that reacts to my movements, but that also moves softly on its own when I'm standing/sitting still (the main problem with basic articulated tails is that they go dead when you're not moving, not even a tip twitch).
Shipping bites, so does anybody in the UK want to sell a Costail?
