David Turner's excellent blog has some updates on the mess continuing to unfold at Cornerstone: Cornerstone University Defends Firing Humanities Faculty (drdavidlturner.com)
Meanwhile, there's a new website for the CU community to share concerns and news: Voice of CU – Coming together to shed light on darkness at Cornerstone University. (wordpress.com)
Dixon, the former Republican candidate for governor, was named a Cornerstone President's Fellow last year. She's also spreading sexual innuendo in a political speech today. Just in case you're wondering how conservative evangelicalism is going these days.
From today's alumni email newsletter:
On Oct. 5 at 7 p.m., Wisdom Conversations returns to discuss significant demographic shifts and the future of Christianity. The upcoming community event—Christianity in America: Declining Toward Insignificance or Resurging Toward Revival?—will feature guest Eric Metaxas, #1 New York Times bestselling author of “Is Atheism Dead?,” “Fish Out of Water,” “Martin Luther,” “If You Can Keep It,” “Bonhoeffer,” “Amazing Grace” and “Miracles.” His latest book is “Letter to the American Church.”
CU is full-speed ahead on culture war BS. Inviting Metaxas is like having the My Pillow guy speak at graduation. Absolutely insulting and disgusting. I used the contact form on the college's website to lodge a complaint but I doubt anything will come of it.
Another article on Gerson from Julie Roys' blog. Looks like Gerson pulled the same garbage at Pat Robertson's university.
The article quotes some current CU students:
Deja Terhune, a senior secondary English education major at Cornerstone, said she hadn’t received any information about the faculty and staff who have departed. “There is no transparency at all. No one is saying anything, everything is very secretive at the moment,” she said.
Some students of color have spoken out about what they view as the president’s distaste for diversity programs.
“The gaslighting, spiritual abuse, racial microaggressions, removal of faculty and lack of safe spaces for people of color has been detrimental to my mental, emotional, and spiritual health and I am now seeing a therapist I hardly afford and have moved off campus to have space to breathe, rest, and recover from CU,” wrote Lamont Aldridge, a junior and intern in the school’s diversity department, in a letter shared with faculty on Oct. 21. “I do not trust the new administration or changes made to lead to the flourishing of our university, especially for marginalized students.”

Campus drama is at an all time high, how are you hanging in there? Also, good spot for some anonymous profanity filled hot takes regarding the current situation.
And as a follow-up, why did/do you stay?
Am I allowed to say that here?
We should change the name of this subreddit to Cornerstone Univershitty to reflect how shitty of a place this truly is.
But I finally found it! Is it dead because there's no one at Cornerstone who uses Reddit? Or is it because no one knows we have a subreddit?
Here's the deal guys, we really need to get people on this page. Cornerstone has plenty to bitch about so lets get to it!!!!
Yay!
But at the same time, I don't know how many redditors actually go here.
I was quite upset when I discovered today that there was not a subreddit for CU. I decided to fix that if I could. the purpose of this place is to be a forum for all things cornerstone. This page has literally no official connection or offiliation with Cornerstone University, and is not moderated by Spiritual Formation or any other office of Cornerstone. With that in mind, lets keep things respectful.
