Hey there! So it’s mine and my boyfriends first time owning a full pembroke corgi puppy. We get our sweet girl in a few weeks, but I’m looking online and can’t find too much in my area about breed specific advice. We’d love any tips, or anything that could help us with a smooth transition for our little girl. Also, we have had corgi mixes so we’re somewhat familiar with the breed, just not to the full extent. Thank y’all in advance!
Has to lose 6 lbs
Admittedly the ride was so rough that ol' Skelebone's wings fell off after about 5 seconds. Also she'd need the battle to stop for a snack and some pets every 3 minutes.
Needed a 4xL because their bodies are so weird.

Hi all, which size dog bed do you have for your corgi? We will have a male puppy soon, but want to buy a future proof dog bed. Also, do you recommend a flat 'pillow" or a dog bed that has soft edges (which takes away from the inside space)?
Thank you for accepting me into the group! Fairly new to Reddit and don’t post a lot. This is my dog Ripp! Yes we named him from Yellowstone but added the extra “p”
Hello everyone, I'm looking for an older Corgi/Corgi Mix for a friend for my 10 year old Black headed Caique, We have had a Daschund when we first got Moochie. Need help with any information that active can give will be helpful.
It's my first time having a dog in the house I'm living in, I NEED to know anything diffucult about corgis, like STAT
No, he is not named after Edgar Allen Poe, although I am a fan. He was named for Po from the Kung Fu Panda, because he was only black and white when he was a wee pup 😅 Going on 7 years now with this handsome lil dude.
How is it different? Owning, caring, loving, cleaning up after, exercising, etc. My husband and I want to get another dog. We want something smaller but able to keep up with our German shepherd in play time.
If anything happened to her I don’t think I could take it.
Just had a bath 😂
This is my first reddit post on r/corgis :) I am thinking of getting a Welsh Pembroke Corgi, but I am scared I am not going to be prepared enough and I also a little afraid of not giving it the proper care it deserves. Please give me advice on what a welsh corgi needs (living requirements, food, activities etc) 😭💜 I will be so gratefull 🐙
My neighbor asked me to take her corgi due to kid issues at home. I had her for 4 months before I decided she wasn’t a good fit for me and my GR.
I have been feeling so guilty and went back and forth about keeping her for fear of her not finding a good home.
Today I brought her to an adopter who I found when I register her on adopt a pet.
This woman was so amazing. Her kids were great and she been sending me pics of Einy’s progress. I feel so relieved and I’m just so happy.
I can’t believe the guilt I felt a week ago compared to how happy I am today.
It’s rough but I know she’s in a good home and it’s really what’s best for her.
