When i make edible cookie dough at home, I heat treat the flour but once it's heat treated i find little crunchy bits in my cookie dough and it really puts me off. It's definitely from the flour; and no it's not flour mites. was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem
People use salt, so could u use msg?

Which Brand Cookies Taste Better Crumbl or Great American Cookie
My grandma used to make these little sugar cookie sandwiches that were about the diameter of a quarter. The cookies themselves were very crumbly and intentionally a bit bland aside from a few sugar crystals sprinkled on em. Most of the flavor came from the vanilla frosting that made up the center of the sandwich.
I’m not sure if this has a specific name or not. The closest thing I can find is Alfajores but they dont look quite how I remember em. Does anyone here know what I’m talking about? I’d love to know if theres a specific name I should look for to maybe make these myself someday
