Hi guys, I played on this console last time 20 years ago when I was a kid. Now I wanted to find some informations about it and I'm stuck. All I know is that this Game Station is just another name for the Rumble Station and only published in USA. But it's strange that this one is running on batterys. It looks like it's a very rare console to me. Maybe some one of you now more about it ore maybe what it's worth today :)
Hello guys, i'm wondering if i should buy a Wii and a 3DS XL or just a Switch. I want to play some games with my sister, but i also want to play handheld/singleplayer. I was going to buy the wii and 3ds modded and i would probably mod the switch myself if i buy one. I think switch might be better, but it would cost me around 300€ for a modded V1/V2/OLED (really depends on what i can find on the used market) and for both an already modded wii and 3ds xl it would cost around 200-250€. What do you guys think?
My situation : I work at a juvenile rehabilitation facility. We currently have Xbox’s available for the youth. However, it is a huge burden to keep these consuls updated. It is very time consuming. We buy CDs for games and it takes forever to download the game. The facility does not have Wi-Fi. Once a week, I can plug an Xbox into an ethernet cable to do an update, but I can’t keep up with all the updates for every Xbox for every game.
In a perfect world, I would love an Xbox with no Internet capability with pre-downloaded games, never requires an update.
Does anything like this exist?
I liked the retro arcade Consol but it was not popular with the teenagers.
Hello. I want to buy a handheld console for the first time in my life.
The games I will play can be 2D platform or indie simple 3D games. for example: I want to play games like Dead Cells, Hades, Moonlighter.
I am looking for a handheld console that will play +4 hours with a single 100% charge.
Is Steam Deck suitable for this? I read that the battery is insufficient and I gave up. (I am also open to Chinese brands.)
What is your suggestion?
Okay so the other day I took my sister to GameStop so she could get her a brand new PS5 since she's been on PS4 for a very long time. Mind you I've had a series x for a couple years up to this point. I bought it used since I couldn't find any in stores at the time. And she's showing me a game. Me and her play together and it just blows my console out of the water in terms of performance. Everything is set on high while I still have to keep all my settings on low. And she isn't getting any lag or frame drops. Is it time for me to buy a brand new series x? I've already cleaned it out completely by taking it apart to take out the main chassis and clean around the power supply and heat sinks, But it didn't help whatsoever.
I genuinely don't understand why
Im looking for a small pocket game boy just to play some old school pokemons and stuff is there any consoles that you guys would recommend any help would be deeply appreciated!!
Got them for $45 each on sale. Eff GameStop tho. Literally hate going into that place. At first they didn’t have a sealed copy of the last of us part 2 and acted offended when I asked if they could at least replace the torn up display copy case. They managed to find a sealed one after the fact but come on with this “used is new” thinking.
Hello everyone!
First thing first, sorry for my use of english, but it's not my native language.
It's my first time posting here and the motivation for that is a console that I found in Facebook marketplace. The console is called MG Wiii 3 and, out of curiosity, I purchased it! I am a fun of old and nostalgic tech related items!
Searching for it I wasn't able to find a lot of information. A link that I found is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/402837348534
I would like some information related to console and, ideally, a manual! It seems that the controller has the navigation buttons reversed!
Unfortunately, as I say, it wasn't possible to find something more useful...
Thank you in advance for any help.
Personally, I don't like picking dialogue in video games. It always breaks immersion for me. It's also creating excuses for me to get distracted by other things and put down the controller. I prefer sitting back, immersing into the world, and enjoying whatever the writer wrote.
Just curious as i dont know how the mechanism works but there must be some sort of friction required to pull the disc in and slide it out right? i see felts around the openings but felts can causes scratches and also dirt caught on the felts do more damage right?
if so would top loading drives be better?
This is a ps3 1TB HDD that I bought cheap in 2021. It has had problems since day 1, the ps3 would freeze for moments, but I didn't have the knowledge back then about bad sectors and how they affet performance.
The drive became corrupted and won't boot anymore, won't take updates (official firmware) and freezes on 99% on updating :(
I decided to format it and try again, but it didn't work.
I thought about doing a surface test and this is the results lol and it's still counting.
should I continue the test in order to maybe have a chance of repairing, or is it a hopeless case? and any tips for future purchases of HDDs and drives in general?
THX
So I have recently bought a modded ps2 and it has free Mcboot, ulaunchelf, OPL, and also I have a hdd with some roms and games already on it. I’d really like too add more games too my ps2 but I’m having alot of trouble, the computer I’m working with is OS (instead of windows 😤) so I’m having trouble extracting files amongst other things, I also only have 2gb flash drive at the moment… Can someone explain in the simplest way if I would need too buy anything else too add Roms to it and also how I could do this with my Acer OS computer!??! If anyone can help thank you very much I’m lost when it comes to this.
I'm in Poland for example:
Atlas Fallen on Steam 32e vs PSN 50,6e
Banishers - Steam 39e vs PSN 59,9e
If anything consoles are more budget oriented then this should be 180, strange.
Also Plague 2, Evil West.
Hi!! This is my first post. So, I've been watching a lot of videos of reviews of diferent emulation consoles (anbernic, retroid, powkiddy, etc) but its being ver difficult to decide which one to buy. I Just want to be able to play n64, the powkiddy x55 its pretty cheap, but i've heard that it runs some n64 games poorly. By the other hand, the retroid pocket 3+ its more expensive but it runs n64 perfectly. What should i buy? Are there any other consoles that you guys recomend?
I’m getting tired of the games the Xbox has now, I’m looking to trade it for a Ps5, because of the types of games that it has anyone has advice on how I can do this.
Hello first post here, hope everyone is having a nice day. Im posting because I'd like to know a good controller that is atleast usable for ps3-xbox 360 and up. I mean both consoles. I wish to employ your help finding a good controller for multiple console generations. And for the people that want to know, i only mean a xbox and playstation compatible controller. Nintendo is something that isn't a particular focus since they don't have many modern consoles with proper controllers. This is because im on an older game focus and don't have good controllers for all the consoles i have. Regards.
i wanna buy a used ps4 but i am confused which one to get ps4 slim or ps4
note : i prefers whatever better is the fps but i don't even know what the difference between the 2
Right now I have money but for one thing, which one should I buy or wait until I have enough money to buy it all together?
(I have a TV at home, but my mom thinks that if I play games with it it will break, I don't know how to explain to her that it's not like that..)
thank you!
this is honestly itching my brain
i'm not sure if its on sega saturn, nes or something else, but it's basically a japanese (?) multiplayer (?) console game that had a bunch of competive tasks to complete (the kind like bishi bashi)
i recall there's one level that was basically having to remember how many people went into the train station (there was like a japanese announcement before the door closed), and another was having to successfully poke a stick of three dango dessert balls
helpppppp
Hello guys! I've had a PS4 for about 3-4 years now and i've got pretty bored of it. I rarely play on it nowadays and i've not turned it for like a month now. I wanted to try something else like a Nintendo console, because i've never seen one irl, nor played on one. I started to search for listings to trade my PS4 for a 3DS XL, 3DS, 2DS and Switch. My priority was to get a 3DS XL, becuase i liked how it looked and it seemed cool. One guy replied to me today that he is up for trade for his Switch. He says he has 2 new controllers (Like the small ones that go one the side) and a docking station. Really debating if i should do it. One plus i found is that i can connect the Switch to my TV and play some games like Switch Sports or some Co-op games with my bigger sister. I'm kind of scared to change, because the PS4 has kind of a sentimental value to me, because i grew up with it being my first console. I've got a PC and most PS4 games are available on PC as well. What do you guys think? Should i do it? What are some pros and cons of both consoles? Thanks in advane!
