hi, I am joing Bach. of CS(Honors) coming winter i just want to want to know how are the cs cources in the college.I just want an opinion or like a jist of how the classes,teacher and coop's are in the cource is it good or bad?.I would really appriciate it if some can give me thier notes for the classes .Recently I have been keeping up with the tech seneario and people say it is in a bit of a low point and it is getting harder day by day to get a coop or an internship.Any seniors want to help me out by giving some tips or just share their experience will be more than welcomed so that i can brase myself for the cource. I am looking at the speed Spanish course and was wondering what people thought of it? I am already in a fast track program, would the course load be too much? Is it worth the $197 x3 or would I be better off taking Spanish I - IV instead?

Thinking about going into policing or similar career, not 100% sure yet what I want to do but I can myself being happy working in that field or similar. I've gone to Fanshawe for a 2 year carpentry & renovation program, I do still enjoy trades but I don't want to end up still working trades when my body is giving out when I'm older. Having a better paying and more secure job with a pension sounds nice...

I was looking at the police foundations program at Conestoga, program seems fun but I've heard that its better to go into a social work or different degree for going into policing, some people have even recommended doing a paramedic program and then you could go into either job after.

What do you think of Conestoga as a school on its own and any thoughts on the policing career path?

I'm fucking mortified. It's my first semester of my first year in college. I've never failed a class before, but I am literally unable to pass my mandatory Psych class due to a late assignment/failed midterm. I don't know what to do. I'm fucking miserable and I can't regulate myself. I don't know how to go about telling my parents. Does anyone know how the school handles this kind of thing? I think i'm going to pass the rest of my courses, but I don't know what this means for me. Please help if you can.

The moderation for the Conestoga sub is crazy tight to the point it's a struggle to post anything including answering questions other people have. My intention in creating this subreddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/ConestogaUnsensored/ ) is to give people the chance to post and answer questions without lag time and having to worry about an unreasonable filter. Also things you want future students to know which might involve criticism that doesn't get past the Janies.

I don’t know if anybody else has noticed but jesus, the driving in the parking lot at the doon campus is out of control. Everyone goes way to fucking fast and i’ve almost been hit as a pedestrian walking through the lots multiple times since 2023. Yesterday this lady swerved in front of me going into the parking lot and i completely rear ended her. It’s ridiculous how fast and inattentive people are in these parking lots. SLOW DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!

So I know the course states equal consideration for this admission is Feb 1. Do you know if they send out some early admissions after Nov 1? Or will they just wait until around March? TIA

I am currently enrolled in the ECE-Resource consultant fall 2024 program online through ontario learn. Long story short I STILL havent been able to complete my placement hours in person, the WIL nurses are useless and conestoga website is the same. I have to get my mmr shots re done because they do not accept the ontario immunization yellow card. When i first started the program it wasnt a problem when I uploaded onto the Hstrax. I know Im past the date for a refund but I'm wondering if I could do 2025 winter intake instead?
