Hey everyone! I'm new to the Concordia and Im looking for a girl (or guy, I'm very inclusive and open minded. Race is not an issue) to give me a good rusty crankjob. I'd do it myself but the pain is too unbearable and I stop just before it starts to bleed.
I've checked hall 11th floor but no one there knew what I was talking about.
If anyone knows where I can get a good rusty crankjob please lmk. I'm always open to reciprocating the favor aswell, or if you're a girl maybe you'd appreciate one of my Alaskan pipelines
Does anyone know if the final will be doable because I barely passed the midterm exam and I found it confusing. Idk what to expect from the final. Is it going to be similar or even harder with the post-midterm material? How did you guys do in the midterm?
Another breakup even though I tried everything to make her happy. Everything was perfect and out of blue, you are single and no one is there to talk to you or help you.
Sorry for this post but I had this amazing girl and because of her I never intend to make friends after University. Now we broke up and I am left with no girlfriend, no friends, nothing.
Does anyone know when the grades for the math 204 mid term comes out? Dying to find out how bad I did 😭
Asking for a friend
I find it quite hard to fast forward, I have to adjust the speed to ×4. Why isn't there a button? It's so annoying!
Hey everyone, I’m gonna be out of the country for the rest of the semester and currently I can’t access moodle when abroad because my 2-step authentication is either an SMS or phone call. Does anybody know what I could do to switch it to the Microsoft Authenticator app?
Do you feel the same? If so, fuck a sponge or something.
Hello everyone, I've got a question about the capstone experience in the Human Relations program.
For context: I had a part time job which I would like to turn into full time when I graduate.
I know the capstone experience is like an internship for a semester but does it act as a normal full time job or you only work when you would normally have the class? How does it work? Can I have a part time job and complete this class separately or do I need to make accommodations at work?
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks
So I just got my acceptance today for Winter 2025 (Yay!!) and I was just wondering when we were able to start using the schedule builder and when class registration started.
Thank you!!
grid off @ hall building 11th floor 12:00pm tomorrow. you DONT wanna miss this.
Hello, can someone tell me what the exam topics are for the midterm this Sunday?
COMM 305 EC with Dr. Aly
What do you think i should focus on the most for the midterm this sunday
Hey fellow Concordians! I need your help with a serious (but fun) mission: finding hot nerds on campus. And I’m talking about a specific type here—not just someone who likes some nerdy stuff, but the kind who has a full-blown, unapologetic hyperfixation. Like, the type of person who will go on a passionate 30-minute rant about why a certain sci-fi series is criminally underrated or why they own six copies of a single game “for collection purposes.”
Now, let’s get specific here. I’m not looking for the stereotypical nerd who’s out here calculating pi to the hundredth decimal while ignoring their skincare routine. Nor am I seeking the gym bro who thinks that "reading" means counting their macros. I'm after that rare breed who, when not diving into molecular biology or composing intricate algorithms, still manages to be effortlessly cool, maybe even a little socially awkward in an endearing way. You know the type.
So, friends, I ask you: Where does one find such specimens?
Current Suspicions (from minimal stalking observations):
Library (obviously) – There are studious types here, but how does one discern between genuine hot nerds and people just pretending to study while scrolling through social media?
EV building – Potential goldmine? Or am I just stereotyping too much here? (I’m an engineering student myself, so no shade.)
Campus Bookstore – Might be a long shot, since they mostly sell apparel now
Niche Club Meetings– D&D, chess, anime (do these clubs even exist)?
I’m looking for more suggestions! Any secret spots or other ideas? Pro-tips for spotting a hot nerd in the wild with a specific hyperfixation?
Thanks in advance
Has anyone created a discord for this class this semester?
Or only hall building lab computers?
Mechanical engineering second year dude, his friends were dressed as a dinosaur and green Santa.
I'm looking for anyone that has previously taken Chem 271 (biochem 1) with Joanne Krupa. From what I know, the last time she taught that class was in summer 2017. So I'm looking for any potential alumni or not alumni that still have useful resources/advice or that can tutor me for that class.
The first midterm was brutal, and I'm looking for help regarding the 2nd midterm and final.
Thank you !
Hey! I’m a female singer at Concordia, I write lyrics but I don’t play much else (aside from basic guitar chords) nor do I have much production experience
I’ve been wanting to join a band (bonus if it’s an all-girl band/queer band but not necessary either) but I dont know where to start. I love jazz, r&b, indie, alternative, pop, etcetc (mostly anything except country). Some of my influences are Beck, Erykah Badu, So!yoon!, Jamiroquai, Amy, Hiatus Kaiyote, Fiona Apple, and lately I’ve been super into Magdalena Bay and Remi Wolf.
Let me know if anybody’s looking for a singer or down to jam or whatever else you may be looking for
apparently this uni is down bad. I'm in; so naturally I've got some dumb-qsts. Is it because everyone's at some kind of polycule or hosting intimate parties? I'm importing this girl from mexico and we're gonna try to host some "chill kickbacks" for colleages (depends on what consulting firm their co-op is at...) around campus. it's not a girlfriend. just a bro.
Who is this famous DF5000 person and how can we get them to grace our parties (not intimate parties we promise this isn't the bay area...we swear). also this institution can't be that dumb; bc attractive peeps are, most generally smarter even if they don't seem like it. maybe everyone here is just lazy. would explain why literally only two peeps are doing CS research here. looking forward to finding out. CS dept seems chill so far. Albeit most peeps seem a bit pessimistic about the future in terms of sustainable employment.
in case you were curious, I'm here to help my friend manage a new quant and vc fund after winding down the current hedgefund pending FTX settlement; and will be refining my skills here to that end assuming the faculty is competent; and it seems like they very well might be.
if you're a hedgie, snek, like fine dining or can read and write ASM hit us up.
Also, if you know what/where the kinkiest working group/department is based at Concordia drop it here. Asking for a friend. Though I assume it's the Molson peeps (why McGill nerd girls date here obviously)
sorry for Fischer price level english skills. It's not my first language.
Hey everyone! I’ve got a bit of a niche question, and I’m hoping someone might have some insight. I’m an Indu student switching over to MechE, so now I need to take Statics (ENGR 242). I already did ENGR 245, which covered a bit of everything from Statics and Dynamics. I really want to take Dynamics this winter, but as you probably know, ENGR 242 is a prereq.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to get advisor approval to skip 242 since I already took 245? Obviously, I'll talk to my advisor directly, but I wanted to see if anyone thought it’d even be worth bringing up this kind of exception in the first place. Thanks!
Hey, I’m looking for a partner for the project. I’m with Prof Ben Hersey, Section U.
Thanks
Hii! I don’t see any posts about the Humanities+ program , and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience/stories about it! I was just accepted for 2025:)
Anyone know why the green line was suddenly stopped around 11:30ish?
Is this a heavy course? Instructor hasn't been announced yet, but I'd like to get opinions from people who have taken this.
I'm already taking Software Design Methodologies (SOEN 6461) and Program and Problem Solving (COMP 6481).
Looking for a third SOEN or COMP course for this Winter, and Big Data looks really interesting. I'd like to know if this is a manageable workload.
