After enjoying Conan Must Go I saw Max also has Conan Without Borders, which I've never seen and has way more episodes. Just wondering if people enjoyed that series?

He brought up Origin of Species and King Lear in the middle of a shouting match with Jordan about toilet paper. (Gilligan's Island, as well, tbf)

Probably not even AP level, but he keeps it classy and cerebral.

Am I the only one that feels like something was a little off about the MAX show? I’ve loved every single remote Conan has ever done. I loved Conan Without Borders too. But something about CO Must Go that felt like he was trying too over the top, slapstick, goofy stuff when maybe the other shows have been more of his dry, subtle humor? He’s still the butt of the joke when he travels and isn’t afraid to make fun of himself but idk I can’t peg it. Like he was trying hard to appeal to younger, newer audiences potentially - when he’s never had to do that before because we’ve all loved him from different generations because he’s always himself and his humor is the best!

Even his Hot Ones episode didn’t feel like it was entirely him - or at least what he used to show. Maybe it’s a new him. The rolling on the floor and lathering himself…

Does anyone else know what i mean and can explain this better than I can? Idk what felt off about the whole thing. I really wanted to love it. Even the trailer got me so excited to watch. I felt a bit of a let down.

Am I the only one who thought Jordan Schlansky, with all his acclaimed sensibilities, would prefer a Bidet (something akin to a Luxe Bidet that Consey did a hilarious ad read) over Toilet Paper?

Or is this just Schlansky being American?

I made a comment the other day referencing a random Conan quote on the pod, where he said “I’m allergic to THE WRONG PRONOUNS! Boyoyoyoing” and moments later said “this has been our Joe Rogen moment.”

I have been searching for this clip on YouTube and cannot find it.

The conversation was about duck and cover drills in school, how they used to be about nuclear war but changed to being tornado / earthquake drills, and Conan making fun of kids of today with peanut allergies and whatnot.

I have tried several of those keywords, and others, and cannot find anything. Any ideas? I hate to be the “send a link bro” guy, but I am having a harder time finding this than Sona’s pet gerbil, which Conan used for sexual purposes.

I didnt start really listen to much Conan and I didn’t watch late night shows other than the occasional daily show or John Oliver.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to LA on May 7 for the Netflix is a Joke : Conan O brien show :( I live in Austin and I won’t be able to travel to LA for the show.
