So my phone got phone got stolen and I had a list of canon fics from someone's else's recommendation list saved, I can't seem to find that list anymore but I am mainly looking for a specific fic that was on it, it was incomplete and only 7/8 chapters long

It was an incredible world building fic, Clarke and Lexa was forced into a political marriage to save Abby's life and the fic was about them on a traditional grounder ceremony. They had to gift each other something for 30 days before they traveled to each clan to reaffirm an oath. The author went into great detail about the history of each clan and how they survived the bombs

Clarke is living with Luna and the Boat People but finds out that Lexa is getting sicker due to something with her black blood, a sickness that is cause the nightbloods to die. Clarke ends up traveling around the Coalition to to figure out a cure. Help??

I remember reading it not to long ago on Wattpad. But it might’ve been deleted. Story was Bellamy sold Clarke to slavers and was bought by Lexa. I remember a big point being that Lexa only spoke Trig and Clarke English. If you need more details please let me know!

Anyways...

I've been writin my fic for what I've realised now have been 3 years. I've had many ups and downs in life which had affected my ability to write it faster, but it was always my reader's comments that have given me the extra motivation I needed to pick up the story after a longer hiatus, just as they did recently.

I have one chapter left to release for my Part 1 of my two part series and I am really excited for it. Writing the second part will be a big endeavour and the support of my readers is what often keeps me going when I hit a snag.

So this post is partly a thank you to my readers and an encouragement for all readers to comment on your favorite fics, as us writers truly appreciate it, and partly a shameless shill for my fic :p I wanted to celebrate coming this far, hope my story reaches those who may have been looking for it. I know I always like to hear some good tips for fics, so I hope mine too fits the bill.

Conageddon 4 happened this weekend and Eliza did a panel with a Q&A and a fan told her about a pretty popular fic I would say in this community Lightning Only Strikes Once and she thought it was a really cool concept and even said “I’d watch that show!” and “Netflix we got an idea for you”. She loved the idea of Clarke and Lexa getting a chance to redo their past for their people.

She also confessed afterwards that she’s never read fanfic and the crowd was like oooooo better keep it that way babes don’t do it and she was like what why and Jo (The host of the panel) was like hey there are BEAUTIFUL stories in fan fic communities and ppl make careers out of them etc BUT it might make her alittle uncomfortable and Eliza was like why cuz there sexual? And Jo said well yes bc there’s fics that put Clarke with many different versions of characters and it might make her feel weird 😂 and she giggled and laughed but said okay now I’m curious and the fans were like nooooo and Jo said that usually your friends are Octavia and Raven and sometimes your girlfriends and she thought it was cool!

So props to all yall who write and also us who keep this fandom alive long enough for Eliza to know we write amazing stories about her character! And who knows she could be lurking on AO3 👀💀

Hi! I’m looking for a Clexa fic: lexa is a werewolf and Clarke is a vampire (could be wrong but I know it’s supernatural). Lexa doesn’t get out much so Anya sets her up with Clark who’s a escort/hooker. Lexa is told to initiate the night/clark’s services by seating her keys on the counter. Clark and lexa cross a line by biting each other. lexa gets sick and Clarke really sad but lexa doesn’t die.

Is there a fic that directly follows the show but has Clexa as endgame? Probably not bc that is a hefty order but I’d figured I’d ask (mostly hope). It would be great so then I wouldn’t have to be reminded about what happened :,)

Does anybody happen to know of any fics based on Nicholas Sparks books? Like the notebook or best of me?

I could’ve swore I had bookmarked it but I guess I didn’t. It’s a role reversal fic where Lexa Woods is the daughter of Marcus and Abby I believe and she gets sent to the ground as part of The 100 (I think) for a crime she didn’t commit. I forget how Clarke plays into it, but I would assume she is the commander since Lexa is in her place. It’s on ao3.

Do you think Lexa knew how old Clarke was? Barely 18 when they met I would think, I find it fascinating to think about how that was probably another thing Lexa adored about Clarke (or maybe she would think the opposite, that Clarke is much older when in reality she’s younger). The mantle of leadership thrust onto a young soul. Although Lexa was prepared, whereas Clarke wasn’t. Which, again, I think would strike awe into Lexa even more. And sadness, too. So much loss and pain and duty for someone who is still a teenager. I wish we could’ve gotten smaller moments between the two. Filler “fluff” so to speak. Like moments where Lexa talks about training as a nightblood and Clarke tells her about what it’s like in space and about the Ark. As weird as it sounds, I want a scene where Clarke teaches Lexa how to disarm a gun just in case. Im rambling now. Sorry 😭 I know this community isn’t as active as it once was in days past, but I feel at home talking to others who love Clexa as much as I do.

I know this is community is probably pretty dead, but it gives me some comfort to share some of my thoughts and feelings about Clexa here.

I’ve started imagining a scenario where at the very end Clarke is the final one to pass away out of the last remaining humans. She was denied transcendence, as were her friends because they chose to stay, but I like to think that with everything that has happened in the show, it’s not far fetched to think there’s some form of afterlife. When Clarke closes her eyes in death, she wakes up under a bed of lush trees, the sun is shining, and the sky is impossibly blue. Wells is there to greet her, he tells her he has been waiting a long time to see her again. He takes her to a beautiful idyllic city, that is full with life. “What is this?” She would ask. He would say he is uncertain what is all encompassed within this plane of existence, but that it feels a lot like life after death, and it seems that anyone who died before they could transcend ended up here. Good and bad, although no harm can come to the realm or anyone in it anymore, so being bad doesn’t really make sense here. The next person to greet her is Finn, he was waiting for them at the outskirts of the city. Clarke would hug him tight and both him and Wells would escort her deeper into the city. As they traverse they pass familiar faces from the original 100. Mostly side characters, no, all the emotional reunions should have a buildup. Wells and Finn lead Clarke to a park where her mom is waiting. She looks up and tears fill her eyes as she embraces her daughter. They spend a moment, and then they all embark after the next person. They come across the entire group of Last Humans from Earth. Raven starts whooping as soon as she sees Clarke and races over to greet her. Everyone, since the first death, up until Octavia passed away (she was the last one to die, before Clarke), had been waiting for Clarke to join them. They were so excited that they’d be able to be with a majority of their loved ones. Maybe it wasn’t transcendence, but it felt just as good to them. As the rest of the group greets and embraces Clarke, Octavia calls out. Everyone parts so that Clarke can see Octavia has someone with her. Bellamy. Clarke starts tearing up and she runs to hug both Bell and Octavia. After a little while, they all start traversing the city. They run into other loved ones along the way, like Kane, Jasper, Monty, Harper. But then Finn breaks away and pulls Clarke with him. “We’ll catch up.” He’d say as the rest of the group rushes off to prepare a huge party to celebrate finally being all together again. He would take Clarke’s hand and lead her to a more residential area of the city. “No one told her yet.” Finn would say. Clarke questions who ‘she’ is until they round a corner and Clarke sees a woman in front of a small yet elegant dwelling. Her skin is fair and she catches a flash of green as their eyes meet. “Lexa…” Clarke would say breathlessly. She would look at Finn questioningly.

“I just want you to be happy, Princess.” He’d say. “I don’t hold any anger over what you had to do, or her part in it. Now go. I know you’ve been waiting a lifetime.” Clarke bursts into tears as she runs to meet Lexa who was already closing the distance to her. The embrace roughly, no amount of contact being enough. Like they were starved and the moment they embraced was like taking the first bite of a delicious meal. Lexa would cup Clarke’s face in her hands and they’d kiss. Finn would shuffle slightly uncomfortably and then call out to Clarke to meet them back in the city for the party when they were ready, and then he would leave.

“I thought I’d never see you again.” Clarke would say. “I missed you so much.” She was stutter through almost sob like cries. Lexa would wipe her tears and then kiss her. “Never leave me again.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it.”

Sorry this read more like a fanfic. I am writing one but it’s not all that great, as I’m not a huge writer. But imagining this helps with deal with it a little better. Clarke deserved a truly happy ending, and while she technically got one, I think that ending deserved to be with Lexa. Ideally if I were to finish this fic, any other chapters would be about the characters lives as they arrived in the afterlife, and Clarke’s life with Lexa after they reunite(cute one shots for the most part). Lots of Lexa being open with Clarke and telling her how she feels and telling her how things looked from her perspective (during the show). Like how it took her breath away when Clarke kneeled before her in full grounder attire. Or like how it broke her heart when she thought Clarke had only cared about her dying in the challenge because of the doom it would spell for her people. Agh I’m rambling, but yeah. Typing this out too helped a lot 😂 I love Clarke and Lexa and I love how when I rewatched I could see all the little details and clues showing that Lexa had been falling for Clarke since the minute they met. I would go and rewatch it again if I knew it wouldn’t traumatize me so badly. I’m looking forward to hearing others thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.
