Welcome to /r/Clowns! This was a place to celebrate all things clowns and clowning, whether auguste, whiteface, tramp, character, mime, rodeo, or hospital! All pro-fury content will result in an instant ban.
Post tips and advice for new clowns, share information, post pictures and video... if it's clown-related, it belongs here.
There's just a few rules:
*Clowns aren't supposed to be scary. Scary and inappropriate videos or pictures will be removed.
*Treat eachother with respect. Remember that human behind the nose (and the screen)
Most of all, have fun!

Hey hey! I am new in this subreddit And new in this world of clowns
I am a 27 female, who want to learn more about this whole clown lifestyle. What do you do? How do you choose which style? How do you act? Do you do this as hobby or work?
Questions like that.
I am really curious about it and I will obey the rules due to the family friendly and serious environment. I was thinking to do this first as hobby, like events, at home, or photoshoots (for fun not for inappropiate matters). I search for friends around with the same interests. Unfortunate many of my friends have Couldrophobia... I have a son of 1.5 year old and want to make him happy as a kid. Here in Holland there are schoolings for Hospital clowns, but first I want to hear or see your opinion and experiences, because I try to fit in this family.
Recently I found the YouTube series Clown Workout (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH34xxedYxM&list=PLYFCDVKXj3yYHIfUewFzuaHOdZOOYhXpA) and I've discovered that I love using clowning as a way to get my heart rate up. Does anyone have any suggestions (YouTube or otherwise) using clowning for exercise? I like the playful/curious/undemanding aspect of clowning and that's what I'm looking for in a workout.
Like the title says 😅 I don’t usually have friends but clown ones would be better so I can feel comfortable.
Hi! New here so sorry in advance. I (m) am an aspiring clown who may potentially join the fun and I want to try and challenge myself always before I truly commit in the way I want to. I’ve seen a-lot clown makeup looks and the different types and I wanted help on making persona’s in a way.(sorry if the wrong terminology). I want to make names and personalities for each one so if y’all have any advice on names I would deeply appreciate it,
I want to try the main 3 types of clowns,
Again if you can help with names that would be deeply appreciated
