Hi all. Apologies if not allowed, but I thought this would be of interest to this community.
I've always loved shop secondhand, but have been deceived many times now by dropshippers whom now plague pretty much every resale site, absolutely defeating their supposed purpose but getting away with it because the sites still get a cut of the scam.
I decided to design a moderated platform that creates unique barriers to dropshippers + highlights clothing swaps as an option by making swapping more seamless than I've seen on any other site thus far. This is all in an interest in truly ethical, sustainable, and circular fashion choices.
For sales involving money, I'll charge a platform fee of 9.5% on sale subtotals; however I'd like to offer you 0 seller fees for as many items as you can list between now and the end of the month (April 30th). This will be in exchange for the understanding that there may be kinks and hiccups to smooth out in the next little while, and that I may have to contact you if I run into any issues (any money you might spend on an item will always be safe, though.)
If interested, please request membership at https://tradeu.shop. I will not accept too many users for the time being, but will slowly scale up as potential bugs are all successfully worked through. I truly appreciate anyone up to help me out with this, as it's something I'm really passionate about!
Like a lot of people, I have a friend who, try as much as he can, can never seem to step out of his shell and embrace his true self. Hoping some sub reddit can help direct him to be the person he's meant to be...picture for reference
How to clean out my closet where to put things clothes shoes π ππ how to make it look cleaner maybe π€ more storage sorted out or lined up in sizes and colors and seasons

Anyone interested in a small meetup / swap? Fall/ Winter oriented.
Hello community,
I am a marketing MSc student at Concordia University researching what drives the young generation to swap clothes with each other. This study focuses on individuals who belong to Gen Z and millennials and who participate in clothes swaps. This study favors all types of identities without any discrimination.
The online questionnaire is conducted through Google Forms and takes between 10-15 minutes. All the information provided is anonymous.
If you are interested in participating, please make sure to read the consent form carefully. You may choose to withdraw from the study at any time. There are no consequences for withdrawing from the study.
Your participation is valued as it will provide practical benefits for managers to understand the younger generation changing needs and interesting insights, especially in the context of why individuals develop swapping behavior.
If you have any questions regarding my study, please do not hesitate to reach out to me by sending me a message or sending me an email at farah.armouch@mail.concordia.ca.

Hello! I am writing my thesis about clothing swaps and I am wondering what you do with the item you have swapped usually? I am trying to understand the post-swap behavior.
Do you keep it to yourself, swap it again, show your βproudβ acquisition, use it as a βredesign of fashion identityβ, keep the inventory to a minimal season need, or others (please mention)?
What second-hand fashion items do you buy/swap the most?
Hi, I am doing my thesis about buying and swapping second hand clothes. I was wondering what makes you choose swapping clothes over buying? Do you think it is driven by a more sustainable behavior and anti-consumerist motives?
It looks pretty dead here, so Iβm not going to spend too much time on this post. If youβre interested in doing some swapping, let me know!! I have smalls, mediums, & larges for the most part. Lots of jeans, tops,& dresses, but I do have a little bit of everything. A ton of accessories and Iβd say about 10 pairs of shoes, as well (most stilettos and boots and mostly size 7) Oh, and I have a lot of nice sweaters, as well! Really and truly I have some of everything. Let me know if youβd like to know more!!π
Hi fellow closet swappers! I am working on a tech+fashion platform to enhance the buy/sell/trade experience in online groups.
Do you use this group or others on Reddit, Facebook, or Instagram to buy, sell, or trade? To make it the work best for you I would love to understand what you currently like or dislike. I will be providing one $20 Amazon gift card at random to one of the people who fill out the survey. :)
The survey takes 3-4 minutes. I really appreciate it: https://carleylake22.typeform.com/to/mFb1YlEW
