I'm a 78F and I recently built a 4 bedroom house in a new estate with 700m² blocks.

Last week a family moved in in the house behind me. I've had a good look at them through the gaps in the fence and can see there's a 3 year old and 2 year old. I don't think they're in daycare because they are outside in the backyard playing all day and making noise.

I hear the 2 year old squeel when they're on the trampoline. I also hear them kicking inflatable beach balls around the backyard and I have heard the ball touch the fence twice.

I am struggling with the lack of peace and quiet. I also have school aged kids (about 8 years +) ride their bikes up and around my cul-de-sac every afternoon and the noise of them yelling at each other is too much. Why are their parents not out and supervising them? I was so stressed yesterday that I ended up getting some Chinese takeaway. When I sat in the waiting section I saw a young family in the restaurant being quiet and not making a peep. The kids were on iPads and not talking to their parents! What a crazy world we live in. Back in my day, kids were kids and weren't shoved in front of iPads!

I am starting to worry the family behind me aren't a good fit for the neighbourhood as everyone is entitled to peace and quiet. I have started growing cascading cactuses on the back fence so with a bit of luck each time the ball hits it, it'll deflate and they'll learn their lesson to settle down.

Feeling quite lost, angry and disgusted.

So last week I made a birthday cake with vanilla buttercream icing and sprinkles for a colleagues birthday.

We got to cutting it up and handing it out and I had two colleagues refuse on the grounds it’s not vegan or halal.

Firstly, this cake identifies as vegan so that makes it vegan. End of story.

And secondly I DID make the cake facing mecca and said a prayer to Allah and his 40 virgin brides in heaven so that should make it Halal (as well as the vegan identifying.)

They did not accept this and refused. I am so offended right now, and I cannot believe the sheer ignorance.

I mean, I'd rather support an Australian citizen who actually needs the money than some shitty uber driver who drives on the other side of the road or with uber eats, taking multiple detours before you get your food. Unlike Australian citizens, they will actually deliver your food promptly. And y'know, don't shit on my lawn because there is no toilet nearby

I have been on reddit for a short while now and quickly discovered in every other sub reddit I went to, if you posted anything that was not part of the groupthink you got downvoted to oblivion for no real reason. To the point the only solution was to delete your account and start afresh.

On a sidenote since the pandemic all the products I buy are worse quality. The price is higher but the quantity included is lower. The streets are filled with people that can’t drive. I can’t afford a house. crime is increasing. The youth are rebelling and support Joe Rogan and Andrew Tate. Everything is becoming far right but this is definitely not a reaction to a world that is enshittified. No, no, definitely not. None of the things I support would ever cause any of these problems even though I’m living them right now. These are a future problems that will exist only on January 21 next year when someone becomes a dictator for one day and then the rest of the days of course.

I am very aspirational, and hope to one day be the Dictator of Australia.

I have a list of a lot of people in Australia I don't like so I will have a full agenda.

I am wondering what uni degree I should study, what training I should undergo and what experience I should seek?

Based on my idols, I could join Australia's spy agency, as did Vladimir Putin in Russia.

Or I could become an Optometrist like Assad from Syria.

Or, I could simply protest and vandalise property in my feigned demands for an end to genocide.

Perhaps an easier route would be to enter the Australian Senate, resign from my party, start dating a bikie, start visiting strip joints, pretend to be indigenous, shout at migrants to go home, bash my friends at the footy, and make daily racist comments while accusing everyone else of being racist.

You know what, this may be the easiest route. Get into the Senate, pretend I am indigenous, and hate everyone in Australia.

If I was to get a character reference from Donald Trump, then that's all I will need.

Even if I fail to become a Dictator, I am guaranteed that Donald Trump will intervene and cede Western Australia to me as long as I agree to stop all unlawful killings.

I would like to recognise the traditional owners of Australia, the sheep, and pay my respects to elders past, present, and lambing.

I find the lack of diversity in Australia's ruminant flocks to be an outrage. Almost all sheep are white. Why are there not other colours? Is this a hangover from the white colonisers or a deliberate strategy by Big Farma to push their racist agendas?

I've also noticed that the white sheep start out white but then develop a brown colour. However as soon as this happens they are manhandled back to the farm and have the rich and diverse palate of browns and black roughly removed, leaving only white sheep. Is this some kind of ploy to convince us that brown is dirty and white is better? What is wrong with the brown sheep?

I demand this is stopped and Australia begin importing sheep of colour to its flocks. The government should immediately repurpose its soon to be ended live export trade to a live import trade of sheep of colour, and address this outrage.

My respect to the Numbugger elders past, present and emerging. Aunty Noreen and Uncle Bruce loves ewes and all.

A few years ago, the Numbugger Rissole Club and the Numbugger Bowling Club merged to form Club Numbugger. It was hoped the new identity would encourage the young to join but it just hasn't happened.

Aunty Noreen and Uncle Bruce got a grant from the Government to study indigineous communities in Canada and came back with the idea that the restless youth might be interested in seal clubbing. We are only 10 minutes drive from a very nice seal colony and it does stink a bit so seal clubbing could enhance that.

We get the feeling not everyone is happy about seal clubbing but our elders talk of the times when the local settlers went clubbing with the Chinese down at the old goldfields so it must be OK.

Would you join Club Numbugger if we added these extra activities or should be do something else?
