This subreddit is for those who brew/ferment their own hard ciders, perrys, meads, and wines. I would even encourage people who don't brew to send (with permission) their local favorites in order to receive some of that delicious homebrewed goodness.

My girlfriends birthday is coming up and literally all she wants is angry orchards "iceman" hard cider. Ive literally been EVERYWHERE locally to try and find a bottle of this with zero luck. I've tried ordering it online and no where ships it to my state [Texas ( i know, cant get any more specific with location)].
Does anyone have any ideas to help me make her happy??? She never asks for anything so I feel horrible not being able to pull thru on the one thing shes actually asked for lol
Feel free to message me or anything. I really need find a way to get this for her.
ANY help will be appreciated so much.
I just bought an 11 acre apple orchard this spring. The trees are really old. 50+. The variety is "standard apple" I heard they are best for cider apples. I have never made cider before. I would love help and in exchange I could offer as many apples as you could need!.
New home brewer here. Looking to make connections in the cider world.
Anyone have any brain waves from Stowe cider they wanna trade? Have a lot of limited edition Downeast and access to a lot of northeast ciders.
Preferably looking for the gummy bear one
Looking for someone from Washington state that is willing to ship me some D's Wicked Cider Baked Apple. I'll send any cider from the New England Area (Citizen, Downeast, Bantam, Artifact, Far From the Tree, Farnum Hill, etc.) or pay for the cost of cider and shipping.
I'm just being lazy because there's no local brewing shops could I use baker's yeast to make my cider?
I suppose I'm getting ambitious cos I'm brewing cider currently but what's it like to brew mead?
It isn't readily available in the US. I was hoping I could get some from my Canadian neighbors.
ISO: BC Tree Fruits Cider, any and all flavors. I'm not sure about CA-US shipping/customs and if that's not cool, please let me know, and feel free to offer any tips on getting my hands on stuff from out of the country without traveling there or going to jail.
I live in Gainesville, Florida, and I can offer any local Florida brews, especially anything from First Magnitude. View their selection at: http://fmbrewing.com
Lastly, if anyone has any other beer/cider recommendations for a new guy to the scene, please offer your opinions.
I'm not sure how strict you guys go by your subreddit name. I've got some strawberry, rhubarb, and strawberry rhubarb. I bottled it for gifts for last Christmas, so it's had a year to mature in the bottle - which is recommended. I live in Iowa. Anyway, the worst you could say is no... so I thought I'd try.
How do you legally ship cider? I've been meaning to send a bottle to a friend (and would love to take part in an exchange) but I can't find a legal way to mail it. The post office says it's illegal and UPS won't ship unless I have some sort of license.
Hey I live in Western Mass and would love to trade some cider my boyfriend brewed (he doesn't use reddit) for others nearby (that goes for VT, NH, or Connecticut too!
Have access to most all Northwest producers! Hit me up if anyone is interested
I have a bunch of pumpkin brew, DIPA, a little cider and am bottling a cyser at some point in the next month. Always interested in adding a little variety. I am constantly driving around the peninsula and would be interested in trading some bottles.
I'm in mid-Missouri and enjoy cider a lot. We have a few interesting local offerings, along with a few favorites from major companies. I'd love to trade for local ciders on the sweet side. I also love Strongbow Honey, which I have to drive to bigger cities for (Kansas City or St. Louis, usually). PM me if you're interested!
My fiancee & I are super into cider. we discovered Citizen's Cider in Burlington, VT recently, and became obsessed. I'd love to find someone who'd be open to trading VT/NorthEast ciders for some of the West Coast's finest (Golden State <3<3<3, Square Mile, etc).
Note: I'm going to Cider Summit SF next weekend, so might be able to pick up most anything from there.
Hello! I'm wanting to kick off a cider exchange (I am Michigan based), so please let me know if you'd be willing. Would prefer ciders I can not get in my region (Heartland USA) or things that are not distributed here.
I really like dry ciders (not sickly sweet) with English influence, and unique hand crafted one offs. Example: Millstone Cidery in Maryland has amazing stuff in 750ml swing top bottles. Most are bone dry, and a mix of a few apples.
Edit: Even one person would be fine. Direct message me :)
Like the title says when is the next exchange? I missed it last time and I'm itching to try new ciders!
