Is anyone here renting out a room in their home to a travel nurse? I’m considering it since their assignments are only 3 months. We have so many hospitals around - Sharp, Rady’s Childrens, UCSD Medical, etc that they could have assignments at. Then after their 3 months assignment is done, I could take a month to live alone, hire a cleaning professional to deep clean the room and shampoo the carpet in the room, etc then rent it out again to another travel nurse for 3 months, repeat cycle
I know we’re a military town and this isn’t out of the ordinary, but it just seemed like it flew low and off the usual course
My Bosch washing machine is literally jumping around during the spin cycle - I think it may need new shock absorbers??
Is there a repair person in or close to Eastlake who can do house calls and replace them?
My shop is slow. I want to go to the traffic. Any spots opening with walkins?

Hey I'm new to the area and I'm looking for anyone who wants to ride together!
Not an ad, I'm an active user on iNaturalist and I post quite a lot. I notice there seems to be a great lack in observations for some plants, wild and captive. Some wild areas in and around the suburbs in particular are not mapped out thoroughly. Would anyone not on it be interested in joining and helping to observe more of the area?
I have a particular interest in posting observations of native plants, they're a bit hard to come by in the midst of bad landscaping practices.
Do note the app is for more than just plants as well, animals, fungi, and other organisms can be posted.
One year ago some teenagers vandalized my car, I saw them doing it, they broke the window and tried to steal it. I called the police, they took 1 hour to arrive and did not do shit. My neighbor is starting to vandalize take the air out of my tires ( happened twice within one week) whenever I park in the public street in front of their house. I called the police, and they told me that "taking the air out of someone else vehicle" is legal, later I realized that is a lie. I cannot trust the police.
Hi, I'm looking for a hair stylist or a hair salon in CV that can do a mullet. I used to drive all the way to Point Loma for a hair cut but I wasn't satisfied after a few visits. Any recommendations welcome. Thanks!
Hello, my wife and I want to visit Jamul Casino for the first time and I see on maps the fastest way there is proctor valley road. When I tried to look at the street view it looks almost like its a one way road with no line to divide the lanes. Is this road a one way or do I just have to stay far to the right?
Any jobs with kids animals or healthcare/CNA? Studying to be an MA, need to save up to move while I finish school. Indeed got me burt, never spent this long looking for a job. (i have a job that pays $20/hr, looking for anything better). Has to be in Chula.

Hey San Diego! We are back! Your bulldogs are looking to make another run to the championship again this year and put the city on the map! We are still looking for players interested in playing with us this season in all positions. Ages 18+ even if you an old head but still have a little gas in the tank. If you have experience playing flag football or any other organized sport this should be a breeze for you. It’s 8 man (arena style) full contact football. San Diego’s youngest team in a new league and we are looking for players. Heck even if you just interested in coming to hang out and practice with us to get some exercises and run some plays with us you can. If you like it great if not no harm no foul.
If any business would like to contribute sponsorship and can use media exposure for their business feel free to contact us as well. Not only would it be a good marketing expense write off for your business but also a good ROI as your business get international exposure to visiting teams players and their family and friends.
Practice every Saturday 9 am-11 am First game will be a home game here in San Diego March 22
If you have any questions feel free to message me.
I’m considering going w T-Mobile for internet at home. Does anyone have it - would you recommend or is the service sub-par? Thanks!
Does anyone know what’s going on? Several production trucks and trailers parked in the lot.
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well in the midst of the terrible fire going on in the Otay mountains. I purchased tickets for my family to visit sesame place this Sunday, 1/26 a couple of weeks ago. I don’t know much about the area geographically and wanted to check in with locals to see if it’s still a good idea to go this weekend? I reached out to their customer service to see if I could get a rain check but I’m not sure if they’ll respond in time. For context, I’m more concerned about possible air quality concerns. Im 5 months pregnant and have a 2 year old. I don’t want to take unnecessary risk if not necessary.
Thank you!

If anyone knows a private landlord renting out these type of properties please send their info my way!
the buttheads treating this fire like a tourist attraction are SO angering. What happens if the people who live here need to leave? this is so upsetting
With everything going on with the LA fires and now hitting SD, been on the phone with my Homeowners insurance and HOA. Not one person could tell me what exactly they cover in event of wildfire destroying your whole home.
Homeowners insurance tells me they cover fire damage to personal belongings. I see that in my policy.
HOA tells me they cover outside damage but to a certain extent and that I need to figure out what gap im not being covered between them and Homeowners insurance. I read my HOA master policy which one line states Build limit - Wildfire excluded (eye opener)
In all it's a frustrating situation that you can't get a definitive if xyz happens this is what's covered in the event the worst outcome happens.
Im with Travelers and Walter's management is the HOA.
Stay safe yall and let's hope for the best and keep our heroic Firefighters in your prayers.
Go outside rn if u can but here in Chula Vista next to the northgate many of us have seen it.. are we crazy?
