Hey all, I've got what in my understanding is a Fat Boy wheel. An aluminium disc wheel with a pretty aggressive casting texture to it.
I'm wanting to make it chrome (most likely powder coated chrome as it's a lot more budget friendly). However I'm not sure if powder coating would smooth it out. Has anyone successfully polished up this cast texture from any aluminium parts?
First pic is a reference to what it currently is (mine is a little cleaner but you get the idea of texturing) and second is what the ideal end finish would be.
I was wondering if anyone here is or knows a custom painter near Sacramento CA. I wanted to get some traditional chopper paint on my tins There's a ton online but want to avoid shipping, would prefer just a local drop off and support local dudes.
Anyone know of anyone having a later model panhead stashed away they wanna part with that's in decent condition or any swap meets coming up? Title is a must.
Looking to do my first shovel build, I’ve heard to stay with the 70s models but is there anything wrong with the 80s?
Hey, hopefully this isn't a stupid question. I am working on a hardtail sporty build right now and am making up a harness from the stock one. I have one of those buttons right on the starter to manually engage the solenoid, if i'm using that to start the bike I should be able to completely delete the starter relay circuit correct?
Thanks in advance for any help.
I'm looking for someone out there that does some badass work when I comes to frame for a genny shovel.
I'm trying to do a 3" up with a 2" drop straight leg 30-32 degree
