Hello, are there anyone who studied or study there? I think about Chinese language program at this university. Pluses that I found in it, inexpensive training (13000 rmb for a year), is part of the project 211/985, I was told by a Chinese man that people received in these universities in the future can find a good job. What can you tell me? Is it worth going there?
Does anyone know any good resource I can learn chongqinghua?
Hi guys, I’m coming to Chongqing in summer with my girlfriend! I understand there is so many of these kinds of posts
But would love advice of where to stay with some views of the amazing city? Also any attractions / restaurants / bars you recommend I’d also be highly appreciative!
Thanks in advance
I’m a 22-year-old girl who recently relocated to Chongqing and I’m hoping to meet some new people.
If you’re a guy who’s also new in town or just looking to meet someone new, feel free to reach out.
Hi all, non-China national but ethnically Chinese person here. I work for an overseas media company. I’ll be moving to Chongqing after spending three years in Beijing to take up a new job role there as part of a rotation.
I wanted to ask about life in Chongqing - what are some parts you love about the city, what are your pet peeves about living there? What do your weekends look like? Being a gay person, I’m also curious about the variety of LGBT activities in Chongqing.
Grateful for anyone to share. This post probably came out of my missing Beijing - even before I’m gone! - and me just trying to psych myself up for the move.
I will be moving to Chongqing in september to continue studying mandarin and I’m not sure if it’s best to live on campus or to find an apartment on my own? I have been told that i will study at Huxi campus which seems pretty far from the city centre. Does anyone have any experiences living in Huxi or nearby? Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know how I can buy these when I'm not there yet? I heard you have to book in advance but I can't figure out where, I've searched their page and everything. I'll only be there for a few days so I it'll probably be sold out if I only buy them when I get there?
Unless that is old news and you can now just get them on the day? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I couldn't find anything on it.
My friend's new apartment is ready for rent. It is located in Yubei District.
A single tenant is preferred.
Anyone interested?

I’ve been receiving requests to share my list of places to go to, so I composed it into only list. Most of the places are pretty mainstream but it is more than enough for the majority of tourists who come to CQ for a few days. You’ll need 高德地图 to access the lists. I urge admins to pin this post.
P.s. if you found anything interesting and that is not in the list, please feel free to contact me.
My partner (American) and I (Chinese American) are traveling around china and will be in chongqing from 4.8 - 4.13. Unfortunately he doesn't speak Chinese and my Chinese isn't great.
We've learned Sichuan bloody hand mahjong and want to play some (for money). If anyone can share tips for where beginners can play or if you're interested in playing, let me know.
Where or how do people get their plants? I'd like some for my apartment balcony. I tried translating 'plant nursery' 'plant shop' and 'house plants' on amap but no such luck.
Any good places for live music? Venues and such for, preferably rock or alternative. Also for traditional Chinese operas? Heard Chongqing had a lively live house scene. And also want to check out some more traditional culture stuff as well.
Out of curiosity any Aussies based here?
I'm currently at a language center which has branches all around Chongqing and not one international teacher is from Australia.
I can't be a rare species or something right 😅
I found this place online, but could not confirm its existence even from satellite images. Can you please clarify whether this monument exists in reality, and if so, where exactly?
Any hotel recommendations in jiefangbie/hongya cave, ideally with a view ? Thank you in advance :)!
EDIT: thanks all!
Just at the title says. I'm looking for a lawyer in Chongqing one that specializes in Labor and Maternity Laws. Ideally, a lawyer that speaks English.
Hello. I'm traveling to china for the first time and I will visit these 3 places.
Firstly, what transportation methods are there from Fenghuang to Chongqing?
Second, what transportation methods are there from zhangjiajie/wulingyuan to fenghuang?
Thank you!
As we all seen in western media, there are a lot of bad talks about how China treat muslims. However knowing there are so many mosques and muslims in china, to me that seems very unreliable. However the interviews of the victims seems too real to be unbelievable. I am wondering how the muslims in China are really treated and am looking for muslims in China to have a chat.
I'd be up to play some music and hangout~~
Considering the straight-line distance from Beijing to Chongqing is approximately 1700 kilometres, that was crazy. The tracking record shows that the letter even stayed in Nanjing for further distribition for roughly three ours. Good job, China Post.
as per title. what's the temperature like and wondering if there's cherry blossoms in chongqing and wheres the best place to see them
Does anyone know of any dermatologists or clinics that provide botox injections? I've looked on Dianping already - I'm just looking for a place that won't try to rip me off.
