Welcome to r/Chips
A comfortable place, for comforting foods.
All Things That Are Chips! Potato Chips, Corn Chips, Tortilla Chips, chip chips.
Keep it about edible chips. By chips, we mean what bristish people might also refer to as 'crisps'. Very similar snack foods are welcome too- for example: Pringles, Cheese Poofs/Balls.
In the event you seriously have to be chided for racism, sexism, homophobia or anything such silly crass behavior in a subreddit about chips, you shall no longer be allowed into chiptopia. Being cool to people, it's super simple stuff, yo.

10/10 no kidding around these are freaking banging!!!
Do any of you guys remember these? I remember having them all the time but I can’t remember the last time I saw them. These were my favorite!
I’ve literally never found them ever again but I’m guessing they’re in the UK. But they were really good.
I prefer the Ruffles, these were too lightly spiced, taste was too light. It was more like Lightly Dressed Lays.
I am generally loyal to the original nacho flavor, but I'll probably buy these things again. The bag says "sweet tangy," but they have a pretty good spicy kick, too, and the flavor is kinda complex. Definitely worth a try for Doritos fans.
Cheeto puffs >>>> reg hot Cheetos
I get way more just tomato sauce than “pizza” but they are great just not so much pizza - they taste like a tomato sauce or spaghettio flavor almost lol but again definitely would buy them again! Glad I got to try 🍕
I live on an island and only have access to one brand of crappy dill chips and really want to order some but don't know any good brands. What are y'all favorite dill pickle chips?
These are better than I expected. Same product line as their cheeseburger chips, same outcome.
I love salt and vinegar chips, but I want to feel the vinegar. I want puckered mouth, tears in my eyes when I shove too many in at once. I used to do tbe cape cods but I feel like they've majorly turned down the vinegar. Any suggestions?
I just found these.
I got into lightly salted a few years back and often buy them over the regular ones. I've sampled a few brands and here's a snapshot of my thoughts.
The best lightly salted were the Win Co brand. Their lightly salted potato chip are slightly thicker than Lays LS and they have a better taste (and aftertaste) too.
Next best is classic Lays lightly salted. but of course!
Then there's Walmarts Great Value, Ripple Cut Lightly Salted which are great for dips and often come in party size. Not quite as tasty as Win Co or Lays but definitely worth buying.
and finally, Kroger's lightly salted. Not bad but not as good as the other three but I believe it may be because these have the least amount of salt of the three. When Kroger says lightly salted, they ain't playin' around. These things are very, very low sodium tasting.
Im not a fan personally. Very strong chemical taste. Kinda disappointed ngl they got a lot fo hype
My partner is stunned, but im giving up ruffles all dressed, and lays dill pickle. Two chips whose crumbs can be found littered around every room of my house every day of the week. They are truly god tier chips. None come close. Am i gonna be a covered bridge man?? no name?? what is happening? am i giving up all dressed AND supporting the westons?? 2025 is fucked. send chip reccs
Edit- the fact that this is post has the lowest ratio of likes of any post I’ve ever made is sad af. If you are American and are downvoting this, know that this is the most concerned Canadians have ever been for our economy. Probably worse than 2008.
Y’all will be fine if we boycott you. It’s only personal because your president has made it personal
I really like this flavor (spicy queso) and it tastes like the name states. I like the popcorn like crispness to these. I also have the Jalapeño Popper also......anyone have any experience with those?
Anyone tried these?
My coworker said we just got these in and set a bad aside for me 🫶💪
A solid 10/10 freakin rights love these 🇨🇦
Got my first flavor bomb. It’s about damn time I eat a good amount of chips
