The music is a mixed bag from the phoning it in to truly inspired, and appears to be intentionally anonymous in regard to band information, location, etc. You may have also come across some of it via a flood of youtube mixes with titles such as "Stuck in 1989" or "Summer 1983," mostly posted by baby.murcielaga, with references to vaporwave, chillwave, officewave(?), and ambient, and artwork that often appears to be AI generated. All that said, anyone have any interesting information about the source(s) of this content or the producers involved? Another weird thing: all of the "Neon Catalog" music was published in the last few months.
