I thought I was going crazy. Half the bags of chicken nuggets I bought would be good, the other half would have the breading blow up and do weird shit when I cooked them.

  
I gave up until today, I saw brand new packaging. I decided to buy one to see if they fixed the bad nuggets.

Unfortunately the new shitty nuggets seem to be the normal and I have to give up on tyson. RIP tyson chicken nuggets.

A while ago I bought some sort of frozen breaded chicken bite (may have been boneless wings, or breaded chicken chunks or who knows what else). Took them out of the box and threw them in the freezer because they didn’t fit with the box. Finally cooked some today and they are sooo good! But the bag has no identifying marks on it and I have no idea. May be Jane’s brand, but could be something else. They were probably on sale at Safeway or Walmart. They are definitely chunks of chicken breast, not ground in any way. I’ve included a couple pictures. Does anyone have an idea what kind they might be?

I got a bag of Perdue lightly breaded Dino nuggets that were in updated packaging. Rather than the old white bag with blue accent it was in a green and tan bag. The nuggets were much smaller but the serving size was the same. They also had less breading and were pretty dry and tasteless compared to how Perdue Dino nuggets usually are. Anytime else have this experience?

Also…Hak’s makes some god tier sauces, and this is the best as far as I’m concerned.

Chicken Thigh Nuggs marinated overnight in S&P, onion and garlic power, hot sauce, and coca-cola.  Breaded with a mix of ap flour, self-raising corn flour, Creole seasoning, smoked Patrika, and a bit of sugar.

Today on "Will it Blackstone?" Some Asian Fusion Sh!t I Made Up 🤣

You're going to need a sauce, this is mine:

KBBQ Sauce
6 tbsp gochujang
1 tsp gochugaru (can sub chili powder)
4 tbsp tamari (can sub soy sauce)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 
4 tbsp sugar
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp mirin (can sub sake or white wine)
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 shots honey whiskey
Buncha minced garlic

Simmer whiskey, reduce heat, combine everything and mix until smooth, reduce to thicken or add water to thin

You're also going to want some cooked rice, leftover is fine if you have some.

The "cups" or whatever you want to call them are dumpling wrappers baked in a muffin tin at tree fiddy until they got crispy.

Pork belly was scored on the fat top and rubbed with coars salt then refrigerated overnight.

Chicken wings were deboned and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, exept for the plain ones for my dogs 😂

High heat and throw down some olive oil until it starts to smoke. Pork belly fat side down and chicken skin side down until cripsy. The wings you really only need to flip once and let it cook through. It'll cook faster then the pork so either rack it or start the pork earlier. Crisp the 4 sides of the pork then slice and crisp up the cut sides.

Fill the cups with rice, add meat, drizzle with sauce, and sprinkle some scallions. Now, I'm not a rice person unless it's a Toyota or Nissan 🤣 I just can't eat rice because of how it feels in my mouth. My girl who does it eat suggested adding some chipotle kewpie mayo. So mix some kewpie with some of the sauce from chipotles in adobo until it's spicy enough for you and then mix the rice into that to make it creamy. You could also use fried rice. For the doggos it was just plain rice and a plain bonless wing, but they still loved it!
