did anyone else notice that the first verse of 'It's No Good' fits into the instrumental part of 'Clones'?

I listened to Hats off to the Bull front to end today. It just might be their magnum opus.

I don't know about the lyrics in Chevelle's songs. They both make sense and don't make sense at the same time. I can vividly create a scene from a movie in my mind; where each song would be applied.

My personal favorite right now is the acoustic rendition of Revenge, which is on YouTube, where it is just Sam and Pete. I can see the song being used in a French Revolution scene.

Who do you guys think sound like Chevelle or write on a similar style? I know people mention 10 Years. I always thought Seether were kinda similar. Any others?

Has anybody noticed the uncanny likeness of these two songs? Honestly both are very good songs. Just. Always thought the two sound similar.

I wanna start this by saying there’s a few things I love, two of those being art and (of course) CheVelle, I made a painting of TNC’s cover a while ago and while looking at it (as well as the art for Jars) and wondered “what if ALL sings had an alternate cover besides the art of their album, like most singles do?

That brings me to yall, if you were making a design based around any song, what ideas would you have?

an example: If I was making art for The Clincher, it would feature a skeleton’s hand (callback to TTOT’s cover) rising from the ground. I feel this fits the overall context of the song

They originally said the label's plan was to put it out in September or October. That's obviously changed, or that was all hearsay from the beggining and the album wasn't scheduled to come out in either of these months.

Any chance it can still come out this year? Most bands tend to put out an album early December at latest unless you're Playboi Carti or some underground artist. That's the possible window for this year, after that it's mid January forward.

Maybe a single, if not an album? I'm only impatient because they've been teasing this for a long while and I'm dying to hear some well written heavy nu metal Chevelle

The album that really started it all, and my intro to Chevelle waaaaaaay back in 1999, lol.

I think it's a pretty strong album, but it has its moments of lagging. "Dos" is a tiny bit meh (as meh goes with this band, since they don't have any bad songs, per se). It's a raw and super heavy sound, which is awesome and they didn't really repeat it in their later albums until La Gargola, I wanna say.

Favorites are "Open/Point #1," "Prove to You," "Mia," (the first Chevelle song I ever heard 🤘🏼), "Blank Earth" and "Anticipation."

I'd probably rate this one 6 out of the 9. Not because I don't dig it, I do. I just don't love it the best, you know how it goes with our boys. What are your thoughts?

I can't lie. This has always been my least favorite Chevelle album. I was never big into the songs that got popular, especially not "The Red," lol... but!! I haven't listened to this album in its entirety in a number of years. So I'm hoping to catch a different vibe this time. I'm giving it a more fair chance.

What do you dig about it? Which songs kick the most ass to you?

I know it goes super hard and I do like that about it.

It all started a couple weeks back when I was thinking of non kids songs with colours in them to play for him since he loves colours right now, and red is his favourite colour so naturally I played The Red for him. Then yesterday we had a 40 minute drive together and I was in the mood for Chevelle and I put them on shuffle the whole time and he said “I really like this music because it’s got tigers in it.” He was referring to Pete’s screams. Then Shameful Metaphors came on and he said “this is my favourite song in the whole world!” (He’s never heard it before that). Since then we’ve listened to it like 10 times and watched the live video on youtube together. Proud dad moments! Just wanted to share

For me, Probably Brainiac, since this was one of my first true favorites that broke the ice for me as a CheVelle fan; That or Face to the Floor, which was the first song I ever heard from the band

Hello, Chevellians. I discovered Chevelle in 2018 hearing Well Enough Alone from SmackDown Vs Raw 2008. From that point, I've only ever listened to Vena Sera. Therefore, it is my favorite album. My favorite song is Humanoid.

I am currently digging deeper into different Rock Bands and that includes Chevelle. I've just finished listening to Sci-Fi Crimes and I am currently listening to This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In). I hope to learn more about the band as time goes on.
