Take this for a fact, looking at models all day is not life progress. You'll never fuck the girls you see on here. Don't you think that's simply the truth? If you sincerely want to change that loop, you need to visit u/Alternative-Price121 and click on the link to find another that would share the burden with you.
Has anyone else had issues with getting a response from Evotion Chastity? I have purchased a couple of Oriob devices from them. The first one I measured, and since these only come with one base ring it makes it difficult to judge exactly what size you needed. However, since its custom it does make it nice to be able to get exactly the spacing gap needed between the base ring and the shaft section. I ended up needing to order a larger base ring.
I assumed when ordering the larger base ring since everything else fit perfect, that the model would be adjusted to keep the gap spacing between the base ring and shaft piece. When the new ring showed up it had a significantly larger gap between the two. I reached out noting that the gap between the shaft and base was now larger and I expected it to be the same. Andy originally responded and was expecting me to pay for another new base ring. Yvonne stepped in and agreed and said the gap should have been the same and would send a new one. Andy did some wonders with this and the new base ring fit perfect.
Several months later, my Sir wanted an orange Orion one instead, with a full coverage tip and lettering on it. When this one arrived, I will admit I was extremely disappointed in the colors as each piece was a different color. The base ring is more a pale orange-ish color, the shifter piece is slightly darker, and the tip was the incorrect tip that I had ordered. I reached back out to Yvonne about the tip and colors. I told her that I thought the tip would actually cover the end but that it was the same as the normal Orion, but just with very small lettering on it. I also mentioned that the colors looked like they all came from different batches. She said that she would get the tip remade and sent.
The new tip came in, and man what a difference in color, the tip piece was now such a dark vibrant orange that now all the varying colors of orange really look bad. If it wasn’t locked on me, I would not wear it at all because it looks cheaply made and that no time was spent at all to ensure color matching, or at least getting the color in the same ball park.
I reached back out to Yvonne and inquired about how I could get one in a color and have all the pieces actually match and not look like it was just put together by pulling from a used trial bin. I told her that I was looking at ordering another but one that all of the pieces were the same color of a deep vibrant orange like the tip piece. I said that I would pay for a new one if there was a guarantee of color matching, and I also asked that since this originally arrived with multiple shades of orange if maybe they could discount replacing these to get all the same color. It’s been three weeks now and not a word back from either Yvonne or Andy. I have sent multiple emails to no avail.
Unfortunately, customer service does not seem to be their strong suit, or quality control on colored devices. Anyone that would let a chastity device go out knowing that all three sections are different colors means there is not care for what they are doing. Then having customers reach out about the issues and getting no response at all shows they are just in it for the money and not providing a quality product. Disappointing that yet another company chooses to grab the cash of the community and then not stand behind their product. For what they charge for these, and the amount of time it takes to just even get a piece remade, one would think that they would want to get it right the first time. But I guess if you dont care if customers have issues with their product because you have their money already, and don’t care about return business or growing your business then I guess this is a good business model.
Just curious if anyone has tried an inverted cage before, and any opinions you might have.
If you're uncut, and/or don't have a PA piercing, and are looking for a secure and comfortable cage, you should be in a Holy Trainer. Or at least start your cage search by comparing them to a Holy Trainer. Of the models, the Steel Holy Trainer V4 Nub may be my favourite long-term design ever for comfort, security, QoL features, and looks...
*Yes, I know this review will trigger people. IMO you are right to be angry - I agree with you. There's an elephant in the room:
The world of manufacturing has taken a turn in the last decade for the kink of Chastity. Mass-manufactured chastity has probably put more people interested in chastity belts and chastity cages than all of the prior decades combined. You have whole websites like LockTheCock and House of Denial dedicated to brokering kinksters into one-size-fits-all models of chastity cages. This wave of new interest in Chastity simply wouldn't exist without the ability to "build a lot on the cheap".
However, many of the cheap models are definitely rip-offs from major inventive companies.
Consider Fancy Steel, a new company with a radical effective cable chastity belt design. At the time, if you couldn't get or even wear a Neosteel or Access Denied or Tollyboy belt, you were shit out of luck. Along comes Fancy Steel, upending the classic rigid $1500 non-adjustable T-belt market. The magic is how the cable systems makes chastity both adjustable and accessible for a wider audience.
The sad part is that magic can be replicated. It seems like everybody is advertising their new cable slim-fit knock off belt in pink these days. These forgeries, however, are just poor replicas - Fancy Steel can still compete on the grounds of build quality and features.
First of all, some backstory:
Holy Trainer addressed a lot of problems for chastity sizing with the release of the V3-V5 Nano and Nub size. Many growers are still overestimating their length when they purchase chastity cages. It's not always people's fault, either - for example, MatureMetal wants you to measure your length from your FLACCID cock, from the base of the ball sack to the tip - simple enough, right? The problem is that most people have multiple lengths of flaccid. Getting this one number of flaccid exact, however is paramount to the end product - growers are not supposed to be growing in their cages. Enter the Nano and Nub size Holy Trainers.
The irony is that the V4 Nano and Nub are actually amazingly comfortable. You'd think "hey I'm packing heat. These tiny cages would make erections incredibly painful"...
...but the truth is actually the polar opposite. In the Nub, you never have erection pain, since you can't really get an erection started anyway.
Compared to the vast majority of the base rings you'll ever wear that are comprised of a circular or hinged bar - maybe ergonomic, HT's ergonomic "flat" base ring design feels amazing. I've been in many cages with the classic base rings whether solid, hinged, and/or ergonomic, and usually end up with the same skin comfort problem in a few days that necessitates a break. The Holy Trainer base ring looks weird distributes the tension more evenly, feeling less constricting. Not only does the ring heavily conform to your body right at your junk, but the width in ring design - rather than a "ring" - spreads out the area of pressure to a much more manageable level to wear.
---That said, a common knock is how awkward a Holy Trainer cage is to get on. You kind of have to bring it from the side, getting one testicle at a time, lock the tube, then bring it to square. It is a bit more fiddly.
=======================
I feel like the HT V4 Nub is the most secure cage I’ve ever worn. Not only does it grip me magnificently tight (but not too tight) but with the tube and the tab from the base ring extending backwards and the thicker band style base ring taking up some of the length of my scrotum - I do not have a PA piercing and yet the HT Nub is the first device I really do feel like "I cannot pull out of".
Compared to types like the CB series, and Vice, there are no spacers in the Holy Trainer V4 Nub, because the Nub instead locks kind of on top of the length of the tube. This little bit of genius essentially means every chastity device gets an extra couple centimeter of tube for security. Even if you somehow successfully pulled out of the Nub, you would be trying to Jerk it with this giant blob of a device around your nuts. As for getting back into the Nub, that's asking the impossible from your body. And don't think of taking the Nub off without the key. Unless you want to turn your balls into literal pancakes, you are quite stuck until it's unlocked.
The Holy Trainer Nano and Nub are both invisible under clothing - even briefs . They are simply too short for a profile - if you made a camel toe in your pants, they are entirely from the ball sack.
================
Finally, for the uncut, the HT Nub is amazingly easy to wear
The tube is a solid design. That's good - no weird areas to get stuck in.
The HT V4 Nub has a very rounded pee hole on the sides. That's good, there are no sharp areas to deal with.
The way the Nub hugs your body closely, foreskin is pushed slightly out of the pee hole. That means a literally piss-easy time in the bathroom.
Finally, wear the nub with a good pair of briefs, and there will never have a friction issue with foreskin again. I have worked out and jogged wearing the HT V4 Nub with zero issues. Even the uncut can absolutely 24/7 the Nano and Nub .
There's always a trade off - wearers must take close care of hygiene. The Holy Trainer pee hole allows for enough breathing room to not feel sweaty, but self-cleansing while within the device is impossible. Everybody should periodically take the HT off, have a shower, and clean the cage with a toy cleaner every couple of days - with the very least being once a week.
This shower/cleaning process probably takes me about 10-15 minutes tops. That means I'll be spending ~40-60 minutes unlocked each month, spending the time focused on getting the cage ready to wear again. That seems pretty 24/7 to me.
=========
But the HT V4 Nub knock off optionally comes in steel - which Holy Trainer doesn't offer.
Don't get me wrong. Holy Trainer's bioresin material is amazing. The legitimate bioresin Holy Trainer V4 cage feels light and freeing, with all the qualities I just described. Security, fit, comfort, invisibility, quality of life. And that's a good thing.
But for metal lovers, there is simply no substitute for the solidity and feeling of metal cages. It's like 'ropes and knots' versus 'chains and locks'. As opposed to the original, the Steel HT V4 Nub feels "unbreakable and restraining". For ever I've replied that "all cages can be pulled out of without a PA piercing". The Steel V4 Nub is as spiritually close to a rulebreaker device as you can get...
...and I love that "if only I had the key" sensation when in chastity.
A 'take it or leave it' about steel cages is they're usually heavy. Unlike plastic, where the goal is to feel as if you were not wearing chastity, a steel chastity cage can make its presence known. Frankly, I'm pro-steel on this: being in chastity should feel like being in bondage - even when it's amazingly comfortable bondage.
The problem with steel's weight is that the cage can travel downwards over time, which can irritate skin... but not the V4 Nub, it seems. That Steel V4 Nub version is heavy - each piece feels like a dumbbell in your hands putting it on. But when wearing the device, I can't complain at all - the Steel Nub does a good job at mitigating everything. It feels lighter when wearing - probably because of how well it's ergonomically designed to grip your body. Yes there is some skin travel, but never to a point of discomfort. I'd still recommend wearing a good pair of athletic briefs to assist, though.
And finally, for visual comparison, sorry - steel beats the shit out of plastic every day of the week. The Steel knock-off HT looks beautiful - kind of like that classic Porsche you'd keep in the garage for special occasions. No lines, no seams, all bondage. The knock off beats the official cage hands-down in the looks department.
For your next chastity cage, get a steel HT V4 Nub because, unlike the other mass-produced generic options, this one is the actual winner
I'm fairly new to the world chastity devices but have always been intrigued so I bought a cheap chastity cage off amazon on a whim. I have to say, the experience of wearing it during sex so completely exceeded what I could have hoped for that I'm just upset I haven't tried this earlier! Of course part of what made the experience so enjoyable was the aspect of giving up control to my key holder but what I was surprised by was how pleasurable it felt to be caged up in its own right. Something about my cock trying to get hard with no where to go made the experience both extremely intense and extremely pleasurable. Since I couldn't really cum it was the only time I've truly been able to have multiple orgasms, at times one after another after another.
Needless to say I'm sold on chastity devices and was wondering if I could get some recommendations on a new one. Notably, it looks like a lot of people here are into long term chastity and/or feminization. The feminization part of things is kind of hot but I'm not really into long term chastity, or anything longer than like 4-6 hours. Given this, I'm looking for a chastity device that will leave me squirming with pleasure for a relatively short period of time. I'm especially sensitive near my frenulum and down by my perineum so anything that will focus on those areas would be a plus. I Want to avoid pressure on/in my urethra and would love something that is secure enough to give me that erotic "I can't get this off even if I wanted to" feeling. Given I'm looking for short term lock up sessions, am I going to want something smaller that really constricts my erection or something bigger that'll let more blood flow to my cock without getting fully erect?
Any recommendations would be helpful!
So I have gone through quite a few cages. And one of my two main complaints is that they are hard to get off, and they are uncomfortable to excercise in. My keyholder told me it kills the mood when it takes forever to get it off. This cage has a hinge on the ring, so taking it off is easy. Second the cage is light, breathes well and is comfortable. I just finished a full boxing workout no pinching no problems at all. Simply wow! If you are into feeling uncomfortable, this cage may not be for you. I forget I wearing it sometimes. It comes in a nice case with 3 nylon sleeves and 3 different size base rings. A few sites sell the device with different size base rings the largest one is what I went with at 50mm. The sleeves cover the clamp on the bottom so you won't pinch the boys. I also use an elastic cage holder for extra stability. It does bulge slightly, but it makes it look like I'm packing sooo I can't complain.
Part of this review was included on a post I made about a month ago on r/chastitytraining I feel like after five weeks my review is complete.
After performing a D.I Y. frenum piercing in mid January I felt confident enough after 10 days to order my Bijou from Evotion Wearables. Only a small part of the motivation to get pierced was the chance to move to a ringless device which would allow me to remain locked while enjoying my go-to form of fitness, cycling. We had a system in place for releasing me before a ride that kept me faithful, but there was a small part of me that wondered what life would be like if I never had to be released. As it got closer to the delivery date, both my keyholder and I grew restless and impatient. I think we both sensed the Bijou could be a game changer.
The transformation in the attitude of my keyholder was remarkable post piercing. She went from a diligent, yet mostly passive holder of my key to actively wanting me locked back up—and in fact ordered me to lock up in an old device for the last few weeks. When the Bijou showed up SO was interested enough in my locking to take a long lunch to come home from work so she could turn the key and then have me demonstrate my appreciation.
We set an ambitious first run for the new device and I was finally released after 150 hours of straight wear. The experience other than the denial and the horniness, was a cake walk. Sleeping, cleaning, and as hoped, even riding is a dream in the new device. Given that probably 85% of discomfort problems with standard ball trap devices either start with or involve on some level the base ring, a ringless device takes all of those issues and sweeps them into the trash. The device like many of the 3D printed devices just seems to "disappear" for stretches of time.
Getting hard in the Bijou is wonderful. There’s zero pain, just some increased pressure on the head and the shaft. There’s no cage travel (the phenomenon where the device gets pulled down your junk) and no need to readjust things after the erection dies down. One thing I didn’t realize when I ordered the device was that the barbell is not held in a fixed position—there’s a channel for it to move forward and back in line with the device, about 8mm, which means in the unbroken 150 hours of initial wear I had zero feedback from my piercing, and that’s good. This may be the only device that actually gives an advantage to those who have a frenum piercing. I've read more than a few stories about Bijou owners who sport a PA having to modify or even reorder a portion of the device just to get the placement of the hook right.
Looking at yourself erect while trapped in the device makes it fantastically clear that to orgasm in it would be painful at best and maybe even damaging to some degree. I hope to never find out. There is a marked disparity between the thickness of my exposed shaft and the internal diameter of the tube—maybe even as much as 40% in area. Your body trying to force ejaculate through the narrow shaft and past the headlock feature of the device which probably cuts off another 30% of area from the inside diameter of the tube would not be a good time. https://i.imgur.com/7JMib5v.jpg (This shows the tube portion of the device and how aggressive the headlock feature is.)
During my first release my keyholder noticed a tiny bit of edemea around the underside near my piercing. Just to be cautious given that the piercing wasn’t technically fully healed, my keyholder put me into my old friend the Steelheart for a couple of hours. Sure enough, everything went back to normal and so back in the Bijou I went. I haven't had any edema issues since.
The Bijou with lock and barbell weighs in at a measly single ounce. For sleeping that’s amazing. I was surprised however, to find how much a single ounce can weigh on a free unclothed erection and in that way the Bijou acts a lot like ball trap devices in that it tries to talk you out of your erection. And walking around with a free swinging dick with the slight weight at the end makes me feel like suddenly I’m blessed with a horse cock—and that only contributes to the frustration. The Bijou for whatever reason doesn't really allow me to get as hard as I normally do—maybe it's because it clamps the front couple inches of my dick so completely. Maybe once a day I'll have some full wood—an occurrence that happened a handful of times each day in a standard device. (My keyholder has performed several tests and there's no issue outside of the device.)
Peeing in the device was a tiny bit tricky the first 36 hours. My stream was narrow and often split or flared into a spray because of the restrictive diameter of the tube. I chalked it up to a bit of new device excitement having me filling the tube more than expected and sure enough I was right. By the next night I was peeing a relaxed full stream and since then it's been a complete non-issue.
Stealth is important to me because it’s important to my keyholder’s state of mind and the Bijou is amazingly stealthy—until it’s not. And this is the first drawback of the device. For the first time in nine years I actually have to be conscious of sporting wood—make no mistake the device will prevent me from using it or enjoying it, but it is possible to have quite a decent bulge. And not only that, but with the front portion of my cock mostly covered I can't even tell where it is in my pants unless I look down. I found myself quickly giving up going commando and jumping back into close fitting boxer briefs just to help maintain decorum. A small sacrifice for all of the other benefits.
The second issue can either be a drawback or and advantage depending how you use chastity. For us it's a benefit because I think it will at least sometimes talk my keyholder out of releasing me. The device is more challenging to get into or out of than any other device I've been in. To be fair, part of this is due to the fact that I'm now pierced.
First you have to loosen up your piercing jewelry with a soak or at least some saline spray. Then you have to sterilize the device barbell. Then remove your jewelry. Then jam yourself through the tube past the headlock—it takes about a minute of stuffing your flaccid member with a pinky. Then you have to pull yourself past the point where the glans locks in place so you can insert the barbell. https://i.imgur.com/IsNDCuu.jpg Then you have to pull a little bit of skin back out of the tube so the barbell ends slide back into their channels and the glans locks in place. https://i.imgur.com/04dqKXv.jpg Then you put the cap on, twist the key and say goodbye to your orgasms. https://i.imgur.com/DOBL59i.jpg
To this my keyholder says, “It just means you won’t get released much.” Yay for me.
The final minor drawback is sporting a strapon harness and fucking my keyholder can be challenging with a dick that can get hard and get in the way. Missionary is difficult because my cock below the dildo can jam into her or the bed and it's quite disconcerting since I don't want to break my dick. Suiting up with boxer briefs underneath the harness solves that issue. Fucking her doggie with my capped unrestrained cock swinging away below the dildo however is a big plus as she likes the sensation of my cock slapping her clit as I thrust deep.
My personal mantra when it comes to chastity has always been to be “Wonderfully capable, yet beautifully denied” and this device fulfills that promise better than any other I’ve been in. For the first time I’m anchored to a device by a piercing so that no doubt has a lot to do with it, but what’s undeniable is the security, the comfort and the ability to stay active while remaining locked. I don't even need to lube a base ring anymore. I now have something that I didn’t even know was missing.
The new found enthusiasm my keyholder has for keeping me locked is remarkable. The first time I put myself into the Bijou was the last time my hands have been free at the same time my cock has. My keyholder plans to keep me a year chaste so I can "reclaim" my virginity so she can take it from me. And she has assured me that until that happens my hands will be cuffed whenever I'm released.
I’ve been searching for a proper analogy to describe what it’s like to be locked in the Bijou and the best I can come up with so far is it’s like having a pen with the cap glued on—there’s no pulling the cap off because of the piercing, and there’s no way you’ll be getting any ink out of that pen. Remarkable.

We have never used a cock cage around here. Sometimes, even with years of conditioning behind me, I will stroke myself when not allowed. I asked Bear to be allowed to wear a cage when I realize I can't control myself, or for extended travel, and he said he was fine by it. I was looking for something that was light-weight, allowed full erections, anchored by the PA, allowed some access for teasing, fit well, and wouldn't break the bank. What I settled on was the 3D-printed Evotion Bijou.
Measuring
Evotion have a helpful measurement page. After asking for guidance from them, I erred on the smaller side for the shaft diameter and cage length. That turned out to be just right. The cage is snug, and compresses me noticeably but not painfully when I am erect. The shorter length avoids pinching against the cock ring I wear at home.
What Evotion do not ask for is PA height, and that turned out to be an issue. By "height", I mean the vertical distance between the piercing and the middle of the urethral opening. They do ask for "depth", the horizontal distance - or in the case of the Bijou, for some reason, the slightly slanted horizontal distance.
I am thicker than most men. The first pin they sent me, which I ordered in their "foreskin" model, didn't work at all. It had a height of 13mm, which compressed the glans uncomfortably, became outright painful with erections, and trapped my foreskin so it'd pinch and eventually develop an edema.
I ordered a replacement pin in Titanium, 2mm higher. This one works better: In hindsight, I should have asked for 4mm higher, for a total of 17mm. What I have now fits into the bottom of the urethral opening snugly when I am flaccid, and is somewhat uncomfortable, though not outright painfully so, when erect.
Update Mar 2020: That pin doesn't stay comfortable for more than two days, its middle is about at the bottom of the urethral opening, which means there's another 3mm or so "pushing me down". After some measuring, Evotion made me a pin with 18mm PA height, first as a plastic prototype. That was the right height, and I then discovered that the tip is compressing my glans, which leads to excruciating pain when erect. Evotion don't ask for glans height or glans width, just glans length. That's going to be uncomfortable for people with a larger glans. They're making me a whole new cage now - fingers crossed. Shaft and pin are good, now the tip just has to fit.
My advice: When you are ordering, specify the height of the PA pin - from the piercing hole to the middle of the urethral opening. Also give them your glans height and glans width, measured at the same place as the height. I've amended their sizing guide. I have also given this sizing feedback to Evotion, and received a somewhat generic reply: " We will sincerely take your thoughts into consideration."
Image
Fit and finish
The cage fit well, the issues with the height of the pin aside. I had originally ordered a plastic pin, thinking that I wanted to save some money in case I needed to adjust the pin and order a replacement.
Good thinking on the need to adjust; horrible idea with the plastic. The finish on the plastic is far too rough to go into the urethra. Even with 600 grit followed by 2,000 grit, it was still far too rough.
Likewise, the "edges" of the cage, where it fits behind the glans, were too rough for comfort. Some 600 grit and 2,000 grit smoothed that out enough that it's comfortable on the skin of the penis. If I didn't have foreskin, I expect this would be quite unpleasant - but maybe not, I hear that cut men become less sensitive.
When I gave this feedback to Evotion, they told me that they were surprised that I found their finish too rough. I suggested they might want to look into tumble-polishing their device after manufacture.
For the finish: Plan on some sanding. Your sensitivity will vary, of course.
The first pin didn't fit at all, see Measurements above. I ordered a replacement Titanium pin, 2mm higher. Which, when it arrived, did not physically fit into the hole in the cage it is meant to pass through. That came as a surprise. The reason is that the Titanium pin has a "lip" on it (likely manufacturing related) that the plastic pin and the plated pins do not have - and so it wouldn't fit through. I had to elongate that hole with a 500 grit jewelry file I happen to have on hand. That really, really didn't feel "bespoke". I hadn't expected to have to file away material. Sanding is one thing, this is a whole another.
Evotion replied, their explanation of why that lip on the pin is there makes sense to me: "I apologize for the tight fit of the pin. We actually produced a replica of part of your shaft piece to make sure the titanium pin would fit. I believe that you could have forced it a bit and it would have popped through. The nylon is very resilient and can deform slightly without damage. But a bit of filing on your part was a fine solution. We have found from other client's feedback that the lip on the back edge of the pin helps prevent it from slipping inside the piercing and makes it more comfortable."
For the pin fit: If you think you might ever want Titanium, ask Evotion to make sure a Titanium pin will fit, when you order. And, see measurements above, specify pin height.
The lock is a standard integrated brass lock. A little bit of silicone oil once a month should keep it corrosion-free. These are easy to source in good quality. I see the use of a standard lock as a convenience.
Comfort
Pin height sizing issues and initial roughness of the finish aside, this cage is wonderfully comfortable and light. It doesn't pull on the piercing, allows full erections, and allows access to the corona of the glans for teasing. Cleaning is easy in the shower, because the cage isn't solid, but instead uses a printed filigree pattern. The pin can be ordered in a form that allows for foreskin, which adds greatly to the comfort. I've only worn this for one night so far, and yet am confident to say that this cage can be worn indefinitely, without needing to be removed for cleaning or travel, with the only exception being MRIs and surgeries. It can likely be used for "permanent" chastity, or as close as one can come to that. I'll update this post with a comment on longer-term wear, when I have worn it for longer.
Not that we will make this cage permanent, mind you. We both enjoy tease and denial too much. Both Bear and I want frequent edging and denial. It arouses us both, and makes me intensely grateful to him.
Final Thoughts
If I had to assign a number to it, I'd give this device 4 edged and denied dicks out of 5. That could come to 5/5 with a few changes: Smoother finish, height of the pin as well as glans height and width asked for on order, and a cage that allows a Titanium pin replacement without needing to take a file to the cage.
For pricing, this device was $330 with the foreskin-modified plastic pin, plus another $350 for the Titanium replacement pin. Expect roughly 2 months manufacturing time, for the initial order and any changes after. It's my "starter" device, after the disaster with the Securo Cage, and will also likely be the only device I'll ever wear. The only alternative I'd consider would be a Steelwerks Crucible. Those are easily 3 times the cost of this, and I actually prefer to have my dick more visible and accessible. For me, the Bijou is exactly the right device.

I’ve had a lot of questions from people who are curious about those really cheap Chinese made chastity devices that are sold on Ebay or the Chinese version DHGate.com. Over the last few years, I became curious, myself; I spent some time looking at the surprisingly wide variety of devices available, and two in particular caught my eye (the A080 and the A081), mainly because they seemed to be copies of those made by Mature Metal. The MM devices are custom made, or at least, made in a range of sizes that you can pick, and can be further modified by request. The Chinese devices (sold by a bewildering number of different vendors) appear to be made in two or three different sizes, and the only custom option is the size of the cuff ring (ranging from 1-1/2 to 2″). After several weeks of deliberation, I thought it might be interesting to buy one of those devices just to see if I could modify it into something better; maybe not as nice as the custom devices, but something that is comfortable, convenient, and secure.

A few months ago, the chastity community – such as it is – was all atwitter over the introduction of a new device (a rarity in itself ) that promised to be secure, comfortable, and affordable; qualities that are sought after by chastity enthusiasts like some kind of kinky Holy Grail. Like the Grail, however, the ideal chastity device is still elusive.
The Birdlocked at first glance looks like a puffy CB3000, being molded as a one-piece unit out of clear (well, translucent) silicone, which the manufacturers are trumpeting as “medical grade silicone.” I’m having a hard time finding what differentiates this from normal silicone, but I should point out that some dildos and other sex toys also claim to be made from this.

Despite this model being somewhat famous in a sense, I don't see many people actually getting it. And so I just wanted to offer a quick blurb to anyone researching it in the future that, to me, it's awesome. I did have to wait 5 solid months to actually get it, which kinda sucked, and Rigid Chastity's customer service isn't the best at replying to emails with ETAs, but the actually cage is great. It has no play at all, none, yet there is only the slightest difficulty getting it to pull apart. While I have to be careful of pinching when putting it on, it's surprisingly easy to avoid, compared to other devices I've worn. The lock is smooth, the finish was great (not flawless, but no burrs or divots or anything concerning), and everything fits comfortably without needing any modifications, such that even a raging erection doesn't hurt in the slightest. The best part is, it really works as a chastity device. While I am sure a vibrator would do the trick, I cannot get off in this thing otherwise. The internal PA post holds the back away from the outer shell--I can knock on the outside and barely feel anything on the inside, and it doesn't change no matter how I twist or angle it. So you can't just move the cage up and down to get stimulation, you can't shake it, you can't rub yourself as you bulge through the bars like other devices, and in fact, you never feels any outside stimulation hardly at all, which is a fun, additional sensation. And the more erect you get, the further away the shell pulls, just decreasing the sensation you feel inside. And while it is possible to work my pinky inside from underneath, it's very difficult and tight and is not comfortable on my finger, so I certainly can't cheat that way. I did go for a very short and wide cage just to try and ensure that outcome, however. All in all, I was able to wear this thing full time, right out of the box, despite not having worn any device for months prior, and really never having worn even those devices that consistently.
Downsides; well, it is still somewhat easy to pinch the tiny bit of skin at the front when drying off, what with the tube on the inside and the edge of the hole on the outside. In fact, I have found certain underwear to be a problem in this regard, as that little bit of skin just barely scrapes as it swings back and forth and starts to hurt. So if I am going to work out for a long time or go hiking, I wear something with a pouch to hold it, and then boxers over it, so my legs don't rub together. Urinating is also, well, it's a mess. If I knew how and had the tools, I would put more holes in this thing--little tiny ones that you can't reach through. Because as it stands, yeah, I fill this thing as I go and it overflows and soaks the boys. Not the worst thing ever, but not great either. I will add that I wish I had been more patient and increased the gauge of my piercing so I could have gotten the hole drilled through the ring to make urinating easier, it probably would have helped a lot. Lack of holes also makes it harder to rinse out; easy in the shower, sure, but I can't just squirt some water on it out of my water bottle at a public restroom. I also found that I can't really use the base ring as a c-ring by itself, because the posts dig straight into me when I get aroused. It would have been nice if I could have, but oh well. I do get a tiny bit of redness on the underside, but I think that's fairly ubiquitous with these devices, unless they are very loose.
Honestly, though, those downsides are minor, especially when it lacks the bigger problems I typically see brought up with chastity devices, like chafing, testicles pulling out or getting stuck or feeling pulled painfully, pinching, or simply being too painful when erect because of small bars or funny angles. Just give it a few shakes and use some extra toilet paper to dry everything off after taking a leak, and wear briefs. If you want your device to feel like a real chastity device, where you can't get out, move, or even feel anything inside of it, without pain or interference with even rigorous exercise, this is the way to go. I hope this helped anyone interested and I am happy to answer any questions if I can.
(The Steelheart is one of the better known custom devices thanks to the popularity of the Denying Thumper blog. His reviews of the device are much more in-depth than mine. When I reviewed this I was not pierced like Thumper so this might be a different perspective.)
I liked my Mature Metal Jailbird just fine but part of me always wanted to try the Steelheart and I'm glad I did.
To begin with my keyholder thinks the Steelheart is the most attractive of all of the devices I've even worn. She actually likes to see me in it. And she kinks really hard on knowing that I can't even see my dick—and after a couple of days that's a lot more of a mind-fuck than you would think.
In the Jailbird my urethra had a way of wanting to wrap itself around one of the vertical bars. It's not that it hurt but there was a sensation and I always had to be sure to adjust myself before I let loose with a stream of pee. You can see it here: https://i.imgur.com/9ZCMeHV.jpg Even with the adjustment though the pee stream had a nasty habit of catching one of the bars and then there was a mess to clean up. (I'm a big fan of being able to pee while standing up.)
The open design of the Jailbird made it quicker to clean—but I feel like I can get just as clean in the Steelheart with just a little bit more time—but I also felt like my cock was getting stimulated and sometimes even a bit sore after 2-3 days of continuous locking. I ride a bike for fitness 3-4 days a week so being out for 2-3 hours at a time helped defeat that problem. With the Steelheart having the smooth shell my cock is not stimulated at all except for a feeling of pressure. As a result I'm very sensitive when I'm released—and I've become a rather bad lay. And that means my keyholder wants to use me less and less—which is just the effect I'm going for.
The comfort and stealth of the Steelheart easily surpasses the Jailbird. The tube on the Steelheart tucks down much more aggressively than the Jailbird. And I have about 1/5th of the pinches that I had while in the Jailbird. When my balls hung low in the Jailbird my sack would get pulled against the bars of the Jailbird and then pinched against them. There are no small bars for anything to wrap around with the Steelheart. At times I can almost feel it disappear.
My one quibble with the Steelheart is that peeing isn't as easy as I thought it would be. The opening which is a perfect circle, isn't big enough and urine can get backed up and flow out of the tube on the sides. I have a work-around at the moment but I'm going to contact the maker and ask if there's any risk in taking a file to the opening. The Jailbird wasn't free of peeing problems either so things are pretty close in that department. Addendum: I took a file to opening of the Steelheart and successfully enlarged the opening over time. Peeing concerns are now a non-issue. Picture for reference: https://i.imgur.com/igDm4fz.jpg I know of at least one person who has requested an oval opening from Steelworxx and they were happy to do it.
The last thing I'll say is that my keyholder is not a huge fan of teasing me. I'm naked when we have sexy time and the fact that she can't stroke my cock through the bars of a cage is not a problem for her. To each their own in that department.
I thought I would review the Holy Trainer (from here on out it will just be HT) V4 Nano since there are significant changes from the V3 version that were introduced. For reference I’ve spent a decent amount of time (several months) in both the HT V2 Small and the V3 Nano.
A few years ago I upgraded from the V2 Small to the V3 Nano because stealth is important to me and the V2 Small while well-made and well-fitting was the largest of the devices that I owned at that time. There was also the issue of having to occasionally push the device back against my body to allow myself to get to the end of it so I could pee without incident. To be sure, this was a very minor thing but one that I knew would be solved by a shorter device.
Like many I ordered the V3 Nano even though I was weary of the open tube design on the bottom. Given the rep HT had for making great devices, I took the plunge in spite of my instincts. My instincts turned out to be correct and the V3 while fun to be in for short stretches never really became a favorite device of mine. The length of the V3 did as expected, and solved both the minor bathroom issue and the stealth issue.
When the V4 Nano came out I was pleased to see the obvious flaw in the V3 had been corrected but I was enjoying myself in some other devices and I didn’t feel the need to take the plunge until just last week. I think one of the keys to long-term chastity is being able to switch up devices to keep things fresh mentally and to give your body a little bit of variation. I was looking for a device that would pair nicely with my Steelworxx Steelheart and yet be a dramatic change of pace from a weighty metal prison. I desperately wanted to make one of two latest and greatest 3D printed devices work, but between a skin allergy issue and flare ups of edema I had to give up on those. Enter the V4 Nano.
I was pretty sure but not positive that I wore the 45mm ring on the V2 and the V3 and so I emailed HT and asked them how they measured their rings and I got a response within 24 hours asking me for the number on the base ring of my V3. Turns out I remembered correctly and I was using the 45mm. With confidence that’s what I ordered. What I didn’t anticipate is that the flat ring style of the V4—so flat it could be called a band instead of a ring—is significantly deeper (front to back on your junk) than the rings of previous HT devices. What this does is increase pressure down there. To experience this without the costly purchase just stack several same size cock rings on your junk and you’ll quickly find out that the deeper/thicker the stack around your junk, the greater the pressure. Admittedly this is not rocket science. Having sometimes worn a cock ring in addition to the base ring of my Steelheart to enjoy the added pressure means that I should have anticipated this, but well, like many, I can lose my mind a bit when it comes to getting excited over a new device.
The new closed tube of the Nano (that now completely contains the head and encircles the shaft below the head for at least 5mm) adds even more pressure and when you combine that with the ring/band you end up with a device that captures you with significantly more enthusiasm than the V3. Same size base ring, same tube length (actually the HT site lists the V4 Nano tube length at 26mm verses 25mm for the V3 Nano tube), HUGE difference in feel.
Though I enjoyed the increased pressure I immediately thought that there was no question I would need to move up in ring size to make the device a long-term option. Patiently I waited for cold or discolored balls or another sign that things were too pressurized down there. Three days and two nights later I was still waiting. Remarkably I now think the 45mm ring could work. Some of the increased pressure was for sure the excitement over wearing a new device but if I were to break it down into numbers I would only chalk up maybe a third to the excitement—the other two thirds is real and constant. And I’m pleasantly surprised the wider ring doesn’t require any more lube on the base ring than I normally use—in fact, I bet I’m using just a bit less.
I feel like the V4 splays my balls out bit wider than the V3 and while it looks great in the bedroom it may be an issue with comfort and tighter fitting pants. (Too often on the V2 I could feel a serious pinch—one that could almost take my breath away—when I bent at the waist and kicked my leg sideways to get into a car.) That might just be something I’m imagining though because when I had a chance to look at the two devices side by side I didn’t see any reason for my boys to be flared wider in one over the other.
A potential comfort issue that has been mentioned by other V4 owners is the aggressive back tab that sticks out from the base ring and points back into the pubis. The tab to me doesn’t look structural since it clearly doesn’t support the back part of the tube that ends back past the base ring towards the body, but it may be there to make sure the back part of the tube isn’t the only thing that pushes back into the pubis. Much like the difference between stepping on a nail and being able to lay down on a bed of nails, the two contact points with the pubis may be less harsh than just the one. Whatever the reason I can see how someone a bit heavier would have issues. I suggest either wearing pants with a bit more material in the crotch or removing a good chunk of that tab with a file and sandpaper. Here’s a picture of the device with the red line showing what I think could be removed: https://i.imgur.com/zaqD3F9.jpg I don’t have a problem with either the tab or the tube that sticks out past the base ring. The tube on the HT devices has always gripped me nicely and whatever the tab is doing for me at the moment it all seems to be working.
HT devices have always been easy to pee out of and I expected no less from this version so I was a bit surprised when initially I had some stream issues—specifically some fanning out of the stream which resulted in a wider spray than I would have hoped for. This issue has calmed down the past couple of days so I’m going to chalk it up to the increased pressure down below from the excitement of being in a new device. I don’t mind waking up to the pressure of morning wood and having to sit to pee, but I live an active life and if I can’t take a piss at a urinal in a bar on Thursday night we’re going to have problems. Sitting down to pee 100% of the time or even a good portion of the time is a price I’m not willing to pay for my kink—and that’s the main reason we haven’t taken the step to get me pierced. I have the 50mm ring on order and I want to use it for a few days to see if the bathroom issue is solely because of the added pressure.
The gauge of the HT devices has always been thick enough that I’ve never had to worry much about material being dragged across the opening of the device and interacting with my urethra—a painful experience that you’re not likely to forget. Because of that I anticipated the flared lip of the opening at the end of the tube being overkill, but it’s clearly not. I’ve yet to have a single thing interfere with my pee hole and that’s remarkable. I’ve even tempted fate several times by going commando in jeans. Just one stroke of denim across your urethral opening will have you running for some soft cotton boxer briefs. It’s clear with the V4 that underwear is strictly optional.
Overall, the device grips me better than any other I’ve been in. The tube of my Steelheart is smaller but it doesn’t have the added pressure of the wide ring (band). I’ve had almost zero adjustment for cage travel—what I call the phenomenon of the cage getting pulled down your junk by gravity or boners—and that means it’s comfortable and not fussy. I find walking around in the device that I’m slightly more aware of my balls, but that my cock except for sometimes a little pressure just, well, disappears. It’s not that I’m not used to closed tube devices and the wonderful sensory deprivation that comes with them, because I am, but whatever the reason the V4 feels very emasculating. Not only do I feel like I present more of a flat front than with any other device, but I just kinda feel like I lose a cock-centric view of what’s going on below my waist—that my dick is completely taken out of the conversation. Mind you, I’m not one of those chaste guys who wishes my cock would get smaller and disappear (to each their own though), I love being wonderfully capable and yet being denied. And yet so far I love the headspace this cage puts me in.
Finally, I feel like the HT V4 Nano is the most secure cage I’ve ever worn. Not only does it grip me magnificently tight (but not too tight) but with the tube and the tab from the base ring extending backwards and the thicker band style base ring taking up some of the length of my scrotum, I think it would be really difficult to pull out and then even more difficult to pull the device away far enough for me to enjoy myself. I’ll never find out because I believe if you have someone holding your key that you shouldn’t try to defeat a device, but I’ll bet it if I did it wouldn’t be a pleasant experience. When I bought the device I imagined that I would spend one day in it for every three or four that I spent in the Steelheart—but now I could see that scenario flipping. And if that doesn’t speak volumes then I don’t know what will.
Addendum: I wrote this review a few days before the 50mm ring came in and I didn’t feel like revising it so I’ll just add some further thoughts here.
I was surprised when the new ring showed up that it wasn’t any deeper but just wider than the 45mm ring. My first thought was my balls were going to end up being butterflied even wider but you never really know how things are going to work down there until you try them. So I asked my keyholder if we could make the switch and she was happy to have me jump in.
After about 36 hours I can say that my package doesn’t feel any wider, there’s marginally less pressure, and the minor pee issue is still present—which I’m now chalking up to the raised lip on the opening of the device. As much as I like it, I may take a file to the lower part of the lip because that seems to be where the urine might be catching. Just to absolutely rule out the possibility that it’s increased pressure from excitement of being in a new device (yes, it appears even a new ring can get me worked up), I’ll go another week before I attempt to modify things. I don’t see much possible downside to removing the lower part of the lip though because that part is buried in my sack and I wouldn’t be tempting fate of something dragging across my urethral opening if I do it. The good news is, the emasculating feeling of my dick disappearing (outside of some minor pressure) is still there and I feel the device is just as secure.
Comfort wasn't an issue before but it seems to be even a little bit better now. With the increased space of the wider ring you might think that cage travel might be more of an issue but it really isn’t—and here might be the brilliance of the new design. With the tab that pushes the ring away from the body and the wider band style ring the whole device doesn’t really have much room to travel back and forth—or at least a whole lot less than it would with a normal device. Between the tab sticking back 12-15mm and the added depth to the ring (probably another 5mm) that means there’s 20mm less room for the device to move up and down my junk.
After several months of 24/7 wear switching down to the 45mm permanently could be a very real option. All of which has me saying, “Honey, I’m home.”
