Sometimes feels like i don't even fully get the question during the 10 seconds and the timer starts for 1min and i find my self frozen when the cam starts. Anyone feel this way?
I’ve been practicing scenarios with ChatGPT, and most of my responses r considered a 3rd or 4th quartile, but I just wanted to know is it actually accurate? In ur experience does it give a fair rank or is it too optimistic?
My Casper is in like 5 days.
I’m rlly rlly busy this week. (School and exams)
I rlly rlly need to do incredibly well on the casper.
I genuinely don’t know how to prepare for it.
Any advice? Much appreciated.
Some context: I’m taking the test for rcsi undergrad med application. I need to get in so that I can stay with family while pursuing med.
Just tried to schedule my casper test through Acuity bc Im applying spring 2025 and instead of the general test fee they make you pay 18 for each school (as opposed to recent years limit of 7 included). Am I using the wrong site to schedule it??
i just wanted to ask a few questions for those who have taken the casper recently and are attending or have gotten into any form of an education program.
thanks guys!
So I'm applying to the DVM program at Guelph and I did my test on January 21. The acuity website says that Casper takes about 2-3 weeks to distribute results but the deadline for Guelph is February 3. What do I do, if I can do anything, if the results show up late? Will Guelph still accept it or am I screwed?
For those who wrote the test on January 9, when will we receive our scores? It says that they have been sent to the school, but we can't see them yet.
Since were not marked on format, why shouldnt we write our answers in dot points to bring our qualities across as fast as possible rather than typing out full sentences and wasting time?
Or unless i only do this method only when im on q3 and im low on time?
Hey, so this might be a dumb question but I'm too paranoid lol. I'm required to do the casper test for the nursing program but there are two choices- nursing undergraduate and nursing graduate- and since I'm in uni right now it should be the undergraduate one right? How and why do they differ?
Thank you,
Ik this was a while ago but I just found out about this page… I’m so fricken nervous for my results especially after when I heard my friend got Q1 on her December 💀 I literally studied the day before watching YouTube videos, and doing practice questions on the actual site but I was very nervous when I took it. I think I did well on the typing but the video responses… yikes 😬 I kept getting cut off, I said “Uhm” a lot and kept repeating the same phrase like “non-judgemental manner” but thankfully it’s marked by different ppl per question. For those who got results back, how well did you do if yu stuttered?
Bemo video said that were workwear like blazer. What do you wear for caper test? Is that affect your score? Bemo video said that be professional looking and try to answer for the best. Focus on quality for each question. If you have no time, skip questions. It won’t affect for the grade. Any opinions? Thanks
Did the 01/21 casper test as a requirement to join nursing school. I feel very unsure about my responses because most of my answers were “encourage to communicate/ have a conversation” i don’t know if that’s a bad thing but i feel like in most of those scenarios that’s what i would do in real life. i’m just worried with how often i said those words
I was doing a video recording part and when I was talking my Siri on my mac popped up and say yes? To me twice Did this happened to someone else??
Guy am I the only one who thinks I messed it up 😭 Plz share ur thoughts
I just competed the test and I don’t know what to think. I don’t think I did terrible but I don’t think I did my best I feel like I could’ve done better. There were some questions where I wasn’t finished typing and the timer went off. I’m so scared and don’t know what to think
holy, how was it guys?
Too many
i have the exam in a few hours and these are my notes for the writing section, hope they help!!
I've also linked a bunch of practice question I solved in the past few hours, Its written in the basis as if im in the exam (fast paced, spelling and grammer mistakes and under time pressure)

Goodluck!!
I can only show the bed frame and not the sheets. This is because I don’t have a desk in my room and string in the kitchen or dining room would be too loud to focus.
I've been doing practice tests and I feel like a broken record -- "I wouldn't jump to conclusions", "I would ask questions about x in a non-judgemental way", "I would have a private conversation", "I would be concerned about the welfare of my friend," "I would consult the proper authorities" etc etc. Is this normal?
I’m taking the test on Tuesday and am rlly nervous. I have been studying for weeks but still don’t feel confident.
I have a Casper test on Jan 21 and I am wondering do I need professional English skills and vocabulary.
I am an international student so English is not my first language, and I am worried that my speaking and writing skills will impact my score a lot.
I am fine with daily conversation with others and writing.
Does casper cares a lot about my english skills too?
Does the evaluators care about clarity if you are getting good points out. Here is a example of a response of mine, which Chat GPT said I got 3rd quartile due to clarity issues. Below is my responses, and Chat GPT's "4th quartile response"
Question: Stealing to feed the poor is ethical behavior; Do you agree with this statement?
My Answer: This is a difficult situation as it brings up issues such as respect and empathy torwards the homeless. My main concern would be the homeless people and the wellbeing of them. Firstly, I would want to gather as much information as possible to insure that I make the best decision possible if this was a real scenario. I understand why someone would want to this, as they care for the homeless and want to see them do better, however, this is not ok. Stealing is illegal, and not ok. I believe that supporting rfood banks and homeless shelters are the best wasy to protect and have a good wellbeing with the homeless people.
Chat GPT Answer: "I understand the ethical reasoning behind stealing to feed the poor because it comes from a place of compassion and care for those in need. However, I do not believe it is ethical because stealing violates the rights of others and can have unintended consequences, such as harm to the person or business being stolen from. Instead, I believe we should address poverty through systemic solutions, such as supporting food banks, advocating for social programs, and creating opportunities for those in need to access food and resources legally."
I got the same points out I believe. Will casper evaluators reduce points for clarity even if I am still ripping out the same points? Thanks
Hello Everyone!
I’m scheduled to take my Casper test on Jan 21 and I’m wondering what I should expect as well as how to prepare?
How can I go about potentially getting Q3 or Q4? Any tips?
Edit: I did the Casper test and came out of more worried than when I entered. I practised quite a lot of writing and video based questions but I guess you're never truly ready for the real thing huh. I just hope I can get Q3 at least to up my chances but I'm so sure anymore...
I’m currently in grade 11 and I want to apply to nursing programs. I’m thinking of taking the Casper test this September 2025. Is that too early? I feel like I just want to get this over with before my classes start to settle in and things get busy. What do you guys think?
I am so curious to know if they use AI to grade our responses because how else would they manage grading such a large number of responses from different tests on various dates? Let me know what y'all think.
You are allowed to write stuff down during the test right. I just do not want them to think im cheating by looking down all the time?
Scenario: You have just discovered someone selling a test bank for your calculus class on Kijiji. You are struggling in this class, and so this can potentially really help your grade.
Question 1: Would you purchase the test bank?
It is important to look at all perspectives before making a decision. Although the test bank could help improve my grade it would be very unfair to the rest of my classmates. If I also get caught cheating, I can face many serious consequences such as failing the course. Because the consequences outweigh the potential benefits I would not purchase. I would instead look at ways to manage my time efficiently as well as talk to the teacher for one on one support.
Question 2: Would you report the seller if their identity is not anonymous?
Yes, I would to reduce the amount of cheating in classes, as well as to keep fairness in the course. I would suggest students to look at other resources that can help them get good grades instead of cheating for example getting a tutor. I understand reporting the seller can cause backlash, however it is important to do so to make sure no one cheats in the course.
Question 3: If you were one A+ from meeting the GPA requirement to maintain a scholarship that you desperately need, would this change your answer?
I understand that losing a scholarship can have many negative impacts on mental well being as well as financial security, however cheating would go against my personal moral code and would be unfair to other students who worked fairly to maintain their scholarships. Instead I would get a tutor, ask the teacher for extra help, and see if there are other more accessible resources available to maintain an A+ in the class.
