Hi everyone,
I have my Casper test on the 10th December and I’ve applied for graduate entry medicine and I need to do well to get in! First of all, is 11 days enough time to prep? And how can I study for the test in the most efficient way?
Thanks
I contemplated coming on here but I’ve seen countless posts about advice and tips to do well on this test so I thought I would make a post and help as many people as I can.
Firstly, I’m by no means a “pro” as this test is subjective but I’ve completed it twice and scored a 4th quartile both times. I’ve also tutored a handful of my friends who were also able to score the same.
If you plan on taking the test or need last minute advice, pm me and I can show you my scores and help you do as best as you can. Given that I’m also a student, if you want tutoring for this test (you only need 1-2 sessions) I can also provide this at a fair cost.
Remember, you only really need a few solid days of practice and I think many of the resources that charge upwards of $150 are useless and unnecessary. There’s only so much preparation you can do for this test, and having someone who’s been successful share the tips they used can be really helpful, especially at the last minute.
Is the real casper the same format as the practice where you have all the video responses and then all the word-typing responses or does it alternate? Also is it okay to wear headphones/airpods?
1st time doing the casper i managed to score in the 4th quartile. A year later, I do it again and get in the 2nd.
At a loss of how but anywho, rant over.
Question! I have to take a CASPer for only one of the graduate programs I am applying to (doctorate of audiology). I wasn’t set on applying to this specific program until recently. The only date I can take it is 8 days before the application deadline in January. Has anyone been in the same position and experienced any issues? If it will affect me greatly, I’d rather just rule it out now. Thanks!
I’m looking at example Casper questions and answers and it’s just completely idealized answers to the point where if they were acted on in the real world, the company or organization involved ends up winning. I had an example where you’re the manager and have to act on a single mother who is stealing formula/prescription medicine. In the end the correct answer is follow store policy while showing genuine concern. And to show compassion you can say you’ll pay for the formula yourself which still makes sure the company gets its profit or refer the mother to other resources. All this bs about providing resources to get the mother help is so out of touch. What about the situations where you don’t have the funds to help and the mother needs the formula/meds immediately? Like Offering a cheaper solution such as generic meds will not help. There’s a reason a prescription is given. I guess in the end the higher ups who evaluate the test need to make sure you don’t put their heads on the line and know how to fake a smile.
Hi guys,
I scored in the fourth quartile while studying very minimally (tbh I was very surprised I was expected 2Q) mostly just the day of and doing a few practice problems in the days before. Since I get so much advice from Reddit pages like this I wanted to give some knowledge back, so if anyone wants any tips please let me know!!!
hi!!! i’m a grade 12 student applying to universities for nursing’s nd my CASPer test is tomorrow. i need this for western and mcmaster which i know already are really competitive for nursing programs. i was wondering if anyone got 2Q on the casper and still got accepted to either one?? i know this is a long shot posting this but i’m desperate so please help!!
hi again! finished the casper and i don’t think it went well at all😭 also just wanted to clarify that my marks. so in grade 11 i had a 90 average and currently with my grade 12 marks a 91 but that’s just midterms!!
Hello
I would like to know if anyone knows any website resource for casper test practice questions with responses.
Also, has anyone tried casperpractice.org, I want to know if it's legit and good
I've been trying to pay for my CASPer Test for 4 days straight now. Everytime I try, it says "There was an issue loading payment gateway scripts".
Things I have done to attempt to remedy this:
- shut down my wifi for 30 seconds and try again
- try *multiple* wifis
- try firefox AND Chrome (chrome wouldn't even let me log in)
- Start the form all over again (multiple times)
- done the systems check (everything was good)
- tried the chat bubble. (the person who first got to me suggested the chrome idea. I have tried reaching out again, no response yet)
- refreshed (that was most of my life. refresh, go to work, refresh a million times after coming back)
The long and short of it: I can't get to step 7. it simply will not work. Has anyone else gone through this? What do I do? I can't miss this test because the deadline to apply is December 2nd, and if I miss this one, I don't get to book until December 5th, and I don't know if that'll mess me up.
Please help, any suggestions are appreciated.
Hey! I scored in the top quartile in my first sitting for Casper, there wasn't many resources online when I sat my test so I made a few videos for people in the same position that I was in before:
Sample Answers to questions using my strategy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv2tzZ736Og&t=1257s
Breakdown of my 7-step strategy and the 10 Casper Competencies that they are testing you on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8vzZqEmqX4
If anyone has any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them in the comments of this post. Even if you'd like to give me specific questions, I'll try my best to answer them. Good luck! :)
Any tips for Casper exam? I have my exam in 3 days
How knowledgeable do I need to be to approach policy (e.g., politics, current events, hot topics in medicine) questions on the CASPer? Are there a lot of them?
Hello everyone,
Please can someone help me out with this important matter. I forgot to select one of the universities I'm applying to, in my distribution list.
Has anyone been able to reach out to the Casper Support Team, about adding/editing distribution(s) to the list, after their test date?
I made a mistake and I hope I could fix it, and still submit my application. I'm thinking of retaking a Casper Test to add this one distribution, because I had already submitted all my documents on the application portal of that University. Please, let me know if you have any advice/suggestions or comments. Thank you in advance, cheers.
Simple solution: the system can send the report to the programs and test taker at the same time.
I wonder if the staffs are "manually" converting the reports to percentiles instead of using the systems or AIs
How long does it take to get the results back from Casper Acuity Team? I would like to know if I should change my distribution before the deadline date, thanks!
Took my Casper yesterday Oct 16 for Western UWO dental. It did say the score will be sent 2-3 weeks after the test, however the deadline for western dental to receive casper is nov 1st. I feel like Casper knows the deadline and this why it is the last possible time slot right? I don’t have anything to worry about right?
Hi all, I just finished my CASPer test and I’m not feeling very good about it. I found it difficult to pull in any of the traits they’re looking for in my responses. Has anyone else left the test feeling bad about it but ended up with a great score ?

I took the CASPer on September 17th and I still haven't received my results. When should I be expecting them?? I feel like a lot of people have posted that they get them after 3 weeks and I don't know if i'm being impatient but I want results so bad.
Hi everyone! I am applying to OT schools in Canada through the OUAC. My Casper is booked for November 7th, and I know it requires me to have an OUAC-ORPAS ID. However, I do not think I will be able to submit my application before Nov 7, as there are many personal responses that I don't have time for with midterms right now. Any advice on what to do? Thank you!

Hi i need help prepping for the casper and almost don’t know where do start does anyone want to help
Heading into the test in about 20 minutes. It’s 4 AM here, 😂 my heart is pounding and my hands are trembling! Not sure if it’s the caffeine or the one hour of sleep I got last night! Can’t wait to finally be done.
