Hi guys is anyone looking to sublet a room/ studio apartment to a UB student? From June 1- end of august
Hello! Anyone have extra tickets for the arts and sciences graduation at 10am on Saturday 5/11?
There is a studio apartment by Kensington avenue in buffalo available for rent from august 1st at collegiate village. Please DM me if interested as this community has free shuttle services to campus and grocery stores, including a community swimming pool, unlimited printing, theater and IN UNIT laundry!
Does anyone know locations for microwaves on campus that students can use? I'm a commuter and it would make to easier to go to clubs if I can just bring meal prep to campus. Thanks.
Happy University Day to all the Golden Griffins who celebrate. How are we feeling?
I miss the alliteration, but it's going to help with international recruiting and the Upstate NY market.
Love the new logo, can't wait to stop into the bookstore.
I went to the hockey game tonight at Harborcenter and there were more RIT fans than Griffs fans IN OUR HOME ARENA!!! What gives?
Honestly just wondering if anyone is active here. I’m a sophomore trying to make friends! Feel free to message me!
If so, can undergrads use it for free?
I am looking for a college to attend and I was intrigued with Canisius reading about it online but I'm a transgender woman and I'm curious if I should be considering going to a religious school like Canisius? Are there any LGBT people on this sub who can weigh in on their experiences? Thanks 😁
I need a prerequisite of C in both class and lab, however, I got a b+ in lab and a C- in class. Will I be retaking this class?
Hi Everyone,
I have been working for some time now on this website ratemycourses.io and I am really excited to share it with you.
You can use this to look at reviews and get advice on courses you're interested in. You can also sort courses by difficulty, usefulness and the overall rating from reviews made by other students. I think if enough people start using it regularly. it's going to be essential when you're choosing your electives or just to get advice on courses you will be taking.
Please let me know if there is anything that I should change or what features I should add.
Lastly, filtering and sorting courses is only gonna be useful and accurate if there are a lot of reviews, so please go ahead and leave some reviews to courses you've taken or are currently taking.
Enjoy!!
Does anybody have some kind of pinpoint on whether we have Spring funding like most other schools?
What’s dorming like here? I might do the Operation Snowbound. Is it worth it?
Hello! My roomate and I's are looking for people to take over our lease at monarch 716 at 1384 West Ave this coming April 1st! You are welcomed to meet us before hand and see the apartment (while following covid-19 guidelines of course). Here's monarch 716 so you can get a feel for the place but feel free to dm for any extra information! We need you to go through us, since it would be our lease you'd be taking over! The rent would also be 650$ monthly!
Hello! I was a student at Canisius between 2014 and 2018 when I graduated. The college is currently firing many humanities faculty: one award winning faculty member from the English department, at least one art professor, three history professors, the entire Classics department, and apparently the Philosophy department will be losing someone but they do not know yet.
This is unacceptable. The faculty at Canisius are the core of the college, and we can't stand for this. So whether you are an alum like me, a current student, or an incoming student, I would ask you to sign this petition: http://chng.it/rKn7qC7Qxr
Hey I’m an incoming freshman at Canisius and am from St Louis MO. I was originally attracted to this school bc of its business school (accounting especially) but then even more so when they offered me a boat load of money. I understand the academics are good but I haven’t heard much about the social scene and what people do for parties on the weekends and stuff. Nearly everyone from where I’m from is going to Missouri or some other SEC school where the parties are massive I’m just curious to know what life here is like, thanks.
Hey guys! I’m from Florida, so I’m not exactly used to a harsh winter, or any winter at all for that matter. Any tips on surviving these harsh Buffalo winters?
Events all have to be moved to Regis/Grupp and Science Hall, and Iggys will be moved to the cafeteria. I know a lot of people used the computers and printers in Palisano as well. I feel like the money would have been better used to remove the asbestos in Wehle.
Would anyone be interested in possibly helping out with bringing up Tekken to the eBoard for Fusion? My roommate and I were interested in seeing if we could form some kind of team akin to the Smash / OW / LoL teams but it's a losing fight with only two people.
Anyone down for some good ass competitive Tekken?
Seems to be that way
need a stats tutor by finals will buy tims

Incoming freshman and pothead here. How is the weed scene at this college, how easy is it to find and are there other smokers here?
I took Business Stats I with Prof. Nagel in the Spring of 2015 and need an electronic copy of the syllabus to get transfer credit at my new college. I have a hardcopy but don't want to go through the trouble of figuring out his wacky formatting. Does anyone have an e-copy they can DM me?
