Looking for participants for study on wellbeing in Gaelic Games Athletes

Hey, I'm a final year student in UL. I'm studying psychological wellbeing in adult hurlers, camogie players and footballers. I would really appreciate if you could take 10-20 minutes to take part in my survey. There is virtually no research into wellbeing in GAA players and any that is studies county players. If you complete the survey you can give contact details at the end to be entered into a draw for Brian Keane Fitness online coaching. Brian is a genius and really helped me when I was making the transition from underage to senior because I didn't know a thing about gym or nutrition and you learn so much about the fundamentals from him!!! It's a small enough study so you have a great chance at winning. If you do take part, please share with a couple of friends because it goes a really long way!!!

Looking for participants: Academic online survey on the topic “personality in the context of sports”

Hi r/camogie !

We are scientists from Ruhr-University in Bochum in Germany, and we would like to ask you for support.

We are currently doing a study on the topic “Personality in the context of sports”. You are eligible to participate if you are at least 18 years old and practice any kind of sport. We would be very happy if athletes who regularly play Camogie (apart from any restrictions due to the Corona crisis) would participate! Completing the survey will take around 25 minutes. You immediately get feedback about your personality profile at the end of the survey.

Link to survey: https://bochumpsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Ryqq2rrlmFFcTY

Feel free to share the link with other people of your/other sports!

If you have questions, leave them in the comments below or contact Anna.Mechnig@ruhr-uni-bochum.de. We will try to answer them as quickly as possible.

Thank you so much in advance!

I wish this sub wasn’t dead. Would love to discuss the All-Ireland!

Hope someone maybe sees this.

We had an absolutely brilliant match today. Definitely intense from beginning to end. Anyone around to discuss and analyze?

Survey: What's the typical personality profile of a hurling/camogie player? Looking for participants!

Hi r/camogie,

We are scientists from the Ruhr-University in Bochum in Germany and currently researching how athletes from different sports and at different proficiency levels differ in their personalities.

We created a survey in which you are asked to pick your main sport and to then characterize the typical and the ideal athlete of this sport. When choosing your sport from our list of sports "Hurling & Shinty" is probably the best fit for you.

The survey takes about 20 minutes and as compensation, we will later inform you about the typical personality profile of your sport!

Feel free to share the link with other people of your/other sports!

If you have questions, leave them in the comments and we will try to answer them.

Thank you so much in advance!
