I absolutely love Vana - saw her twice this year in Philly - first time opening for Hip Abduction and second time opening for KBong and Johnny Cosmic - a good season for Cali Reggae in Philly!!

I introduced my friend Melissa to Vana’s music - Melissa was also at both shows with a separate group of friends. At the second show, Melissa was kind enough to get Vana to sign this journal and she gave it to me as a surprise gift. Thank you, Melissa! What a treasure!

I have a baby who would be 6 months old during Reggae Rise Up FL.

We would purchase VIP tickets and she’d of course have noise canceling headphones on.

For anyone who’s gone before, would love to hear your thoughts on going with a little one? How packed are the shaded areas? Would we be able to sit anywhere on the grass with her?

Edit to add: Since they promote this on social as a family friendly event, I want to see what insights Reddit friends can offer. No tickets have been purchased as there’s a high likelihood we would either not go or pick 1 day/night for a sitter.
