We aim to be the reddit version of your local cafe.
We welcome discussions related to coffee, other “cafe” food and drink, and cafe life. Like real cafes have galleries or stages, we host weekly themes as an addition post topic, and we host special event days to try and mimic specialty bookings: memes on Mondays, Thursday is Open Mic night, and cap off the week with Sunday Story Slam.

How difficult is it to self make all the pastries vs just buying from a vendor and reselling? I am looking to open a dessert cafe and make own cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls etc. I don’t like the idea of simply reselling from a vendor
I knocked it over after I had just filled it :(
Hi everyone!
I’m planning to open a coffee shop in Brooklyn that also serves small bites, and I’d love to hear from anyone with experience or insights into this process.
Here’s what I’m looking for help with:
I’m super passionate about creating a cozy spot where people can enjoy great coffee, snacks, and good vibes. Any advice or resources you can share would mean the world!
Thanks in advance for your help 😊
Hello! Does anyone here have a tea business, such as fruit or milk tea? Have you ever experienced leakage problems with your insulated tea bucket? If yes, what solution did you come up with? I'm from the Philippines. Would appreciate a response. Thank you.
Just a webs developer trying to understand why people still don't want a website when it's just a one time cost.
I am currently 18 years old and living in Mississauga, I am attempting to make post at utm for computer science but I might have to minor because it seems difficult. I'm honestly not sure if I like my degree, it's alright I don't hate it but I do not have passion for computer science. I've always been interested in cafes, I would love to potentially open one myself although I do not know much about how to make coffee yet.
I know that I am still pretty young and I don't have the money to start one, but I was thinking about trying to work for a couple of years to save up the money to start a cafe (I think that I would probably need over 100k).
Is this a bad idea?
Recently, I've been making at my own coffee at home since I planned to save my money lol. I only have instant coffee as I couldn't afford a coffee maker yet. What are your go-to instant coffee recipes? I know spanish latte and iced shaken espresso which you can both make with instant coffee. I'm wondering if there are other recipes you know since I'm starting to get bored with the two. thanks!
Hi.
Need some advise. I've been using Senseo for 5 years. I'm a lazy person, i want coffee just pressing the button and anything more. I always drink caffe latte. I'm searching for a better coffee than Senseo but almost same mechanism as it. Can you help me please?
Thanks
Hello all mighty reddit users, hope you are having a good day 😁 I am trying to help artists in the UK to work with cafes where they can promote their art/painting/comics on coffee cups.
So far people said they like the idea but seems to be a bit cautious when it comes to really doing it... Even when I tried offering it for free?!
Hence I am wondering if anyone knows any good channel / forum / places that I can reach out to more new or experienced artist so that I can help linking them up with cafes.
I would love to provide more values and support artists too so if you have any idea of what I can do for them other than just printing their creation/master pieces on cups, please feel free to share too 😊
Thank you so much in advance you all lovely people!
I'd like your best Coffee Recommendations with Ceremonial Meanings/Insights for a short story I'm writing.
Thank you in advance!
Several years ago, I saw a map listed in a subreddit, possible r/cafe that showed third wave cafes around the world. I think it was a google map which made it clickable so the viewer could zoom in to wherever they wanted and find cafes. I suspect it was probably crowd sourced. Does this still exist?
