DO YOU LIKE ROAST BEEF

well, then you may be an idiot and this subreddit may be for you!
hello yes this is r/bys

The bogo deal on the app, I chose a roast beef and then brisket for my free sandwich and the app swapped them at checkout and made me pay for the higher priced item. Tried it with bogo curly fries and it let me pay for the small fry and for the large for free. Anybody else have this happen?
If I do not want to waive my breaks will they choose to not hire you? Do I have to waive my breaks to be employed?
Haven't had Arby's in years but we are staying near one this week. Figured I would order a few family style meals for dinner for us all tonight.
I saw an Arby's "$15 Family Pack" on Google, wanted to try that but cannot find out how to order it.
Called the local Arby's and they said we must need to order it online, but had no idea where on the website or where on the app. I'm stumped. Can't seem to find it. Wanted to order 2 or 3 of them.
Does anyone know where where I can order the Arby's "$15 Family Pack" or something similar?
Thanks
You'll thank me lateršš
Iāve gotten Arbyās dozens of times over 5 years but havenāt had it in 6 months.. I got a beef and cheddar and jalapeƱo bites today and there was no red ranch on my beef and cheddar and the bun was very stale. The jalapeƱo bites just didnāt taste right either and they didnāt give me the amount of sauce I asked forā¦ never going back with we could get the old Arbyās backā¦.
I've been seeing signs saying "ham is back" on local Arby's, but can't find anything online to corroborate this fact.
This Facebook post is the information I can find.
Am I going insane?
Not a fan of Mayo and all the āspicyā sandwiches are 99% of the time just some Mayo based sauce.
Exceptions for LTO sandwiches that actually were spicy are the ghost pepper whopper from BK and the Diablo dare arbys chicken sandwich which punched me in the teeth.
I loved it both times. And I miss it. And I want it badly right now hence the post because me and my buddy that stays with me when heās in town for work were reminiscing last night.
WTF, Arbys? First you discontinue potato cakes (yes we're still mad) and then you take away the Reese's Chocolate Chip Cookies?
What market are you surveying, anyway?!

Hi, Iāve been in the fast food business for 5 years. Arbys for 2.5 years and Iām a training gm. I want to know what questions yall have about fast food and arbys! Ask away!!
This is the Beef'n'Cheddar I got today. The meat was sliced on a 3/3.5 and the bun is a cheap grocery store brand hamburger bun.
So, they have the meatsā¦and the meats have one job: donāt be gristly. At this they have utterly failed! And, the dude behind the counter acted like he wouldnāt piss on me if I was on fire. So, I dumped what remained of this food-for-perros and popped over to āthe clownā for a delicious ice cream cone served by a pleasant, professional actual human-type person. Thanks for trying to ruin my meal with your inferior near-food and poorly trained, miserable staff.
Last week I applied online for a shift manager at Arby's. A few days later I received an email from Inspire telling me to set up a time for an interview. I called the store, spoke to the manager, and set up the time and date for the interview.
Today I went to the store for my interview. The manager, whom I spoke with, and had set up this interview, sent out a crew member with a clipboard and a blank sheet of paper. The crew member told me that the manager was too busy to see me. Granted, we had 2 hurricanes in my town in the past 2 weeks.
Anyway, I wrote down pertinent details : phone, email, work history, and education. The crew member asked me if I could work a particular shift, so I wrote "open Availability" on the sheet and made a joke, with some brief conversation. The crew member got up from the table, saying that they would give this to the manager and to watch my email for onboarding from corporate.
I have not received anything from corporate, so I'm debating if I should call the store tomorrow and follow up, or wait another day.
In the past, I often got such deal from APP. With $1 purchase, I could get a free gyro. Today, the fine print changed to with $10 purchase. Normally I don't pay attention to fine print but today I did. So I did not waste time when arriving then find out I can't use such a deal. Normally I would buy a soft drink to use free gyro deal if I am not hungry for lunch. It is really hard to spend $10 on one meal. Then adding one gyro, it is too much to eat. And I don't want to spend $10 at a fast food store anyway. I would rather spend that on a Chinese lunch buffet. Just to remind people the Free Gyro deal has changed. The new requirement is $10 purchase.
So I downloaded the app and they had a deal going on for a double beef and cheddar, medium fry, medium drink for $7. I added on a small jalapeƱo popper (5 piece) based on the feedback I received from this sub, and they ended up giving me 7 poppers total. (Woot!)
The sandwich was about what I remembered it tasting like, which isnāt a negative thing. I really liked the horsey sauce because it was just enough horseradish tasting without blasting your face off about it.
A bit let down with the fries, I seemed to have a mixture of curly and then either pieces of curly that broke off, of whatever other fry they offer, or maybe thatās just the way they always have been? Still tasted good.
The jalapeƱo poppers were the winner though. They tasted restaurant or bar quality, and the bronco sauce complimented it really nicely.
I ended up not taking an additional sandwich to go home with because I was happy enough with the $7 deal and poppers, and honestly I didnāt think I could do another sandwich for dinner. 10/10 for the total amount of money I spent and the amount/quality of the food received. Next time Iām back in that area Iāll definitely be trying out the brisket sandwich.
Thanks for the feedback provided on the original post! Much appreciated!
Looks like the truck ordering service you use (US Foods, Sysco or Other), we order Sesame and Onion now. Which sucks with Arby's partner with Franz or Local Bakerys in town.
For sure getting curly fries, and from reading through this sub it sounds like the jalapeƱo bites are a smart choice as well (so long as they are fresh). How many mozzarella sticks come to an order? There was a time many years ago when I enjoyed fast food mozz sticks from BK, but the quality of them has gone to hell over the years.
For the sandwich, right now itās a toss up between the smokehouse brisket or a classic beef and cheddar (maybe a double beef and cheddar depending on how hungry I am.
Barqās Root Beer as my beverage.
Which way do yāall lean on the sandwich decision? Iāve enjoyed the beef and cheddar in the past and Iāve never had the smokehouse brisket before.
A new seasoning will come along with it that will be used similarly to gyro seasoning. Round buns will be boxed differently and from what I understand you wonāt have to put them on a rack anymore. You can temper and use straight out the box. Round buns will be today +4 now as well.
I'm a GM at a restaurant in Virginia. Any others here? Anyone have questions that want to pick my brain? Feel free to ask anything
GM doesn't teach us managers here shit tbh, and the RDS system had shut down today, so if anyone knows can you teach us how to restart said RDS system? Also only the GM knows how to do paperwork cause she didn't bother to teach anyone except for beefchart, temps and cash. So anything else you believe will be helpful information feel free to share.
