Anyone know if its possible to get a 30 series graphics card for ~$1000 for a 3060ti, or a 3070 for $1200?
Cheers in advance!
Hi all, I bought an RTX 3070 when they launched thinking I'd get back into video games. But realistically it's been sitting in my rig for about three months and used once. I wanted to pass it on on TradeMe for a fair price, but I'm worried about getting scammed as I see a lot of scam attempts on these cardsin other countries. I was wondering if there's any general guidance on what to do while listing to ensure a smooth transaction. Thanks.
Hey guys, I’ve ended up with a few spare brand new internal SSD’s which I’m happy to sell for cheap.
I’ve got some 1tb Samsung 860 evo’s (Sata) and a 2tb Samsung 970 evo plus (NVMe).
I’d accept probably around $190 NZD for an 860 and around $560 NZD for the 970. Includes shipping.
Just putting it out there.
Let me know if interested.
Is it just me or is it really annoying to see PB Tech a well trusted electronics store overprice the new 3000 series RTX Graphics card by almost double the price of its MSRP from the US. Even purchasing from the US, paying for shipping and customs will come somewhere close to $1200 - $1300 (NZD). I get there is not enough stock for everyone right now in the US. But I prefer to wait and buy there and save money than paying double the MSRP just for a graphics card from PB Tech. This overpricing loses the awe of the 3000 series as you can get more performance (like the 3080 and 3090) for half or the same price as the 2080 Ti (in USD) in PB Tech the 3080 is about the same price as a 2080/ 2080 Ti and the 3090 is about $1000+ more than the 2080 Ti which is infuriating for the consumer. I find this very annoying to see from such a great tech company.
Anyone used them?
One of my friends wants to buy my "old" 2700 off me and I'm unsure how much they'd go for
I checked trademe but couldn't find any listings so i decided to ask here
Hey guys,
I'm picking up an ultrawide in the next couple of weeks (very excited!) and am looking at mounting my current 27" monitor above it.
Ideally I'd like to leave my ultrawide on it's original stand and have the 27 on an arm that's long and strong enough to position it above.
Does anyone have any suggestions for arms I can purchase locally? Not fussed on price.
Cheers in advance!
80+ Gold 550w, fully modular 1 x 8pin - Any recommendations?
As per title, I'm looking to buy some Arctic p14 pwm fans. Does anyone know which retailer stocks them in NZ or where I can buy some from online?
Thanks
Just checking in to see when/what time the NZ sales for AMD Radeon RDNA 2 are happening?
Here's a cost per core comparison, based on current nz.pcpartpicker prices for Zen 2 vs Zen 3.
Hi guys
Is it just me or is the RTX 3070 pricing insane in NZ?
Cheapest I've seen advertised is $1200, whereas in the States it's $500 USD which is the same price as the original 2070 super.
The PS5/Xbox X are retailing for $499 USD and selling for roughly $810 here.
So, both products are selling at roughly $500 USD, but one has an exchange rate of what you'd expect, and the other is priced 48% more??
Am I missing something here?? Why are GPUs so expensive when retailed here??
Gidday,
I’m planning on building a PC (obviously) and I’ve used pcpartpicker to choose a lot of the stuff for my build, just looking for some advice for where I could potentially get better value, save a buck or two or just avoid bad products.

Chur
They currently have 5+ Zotac 3070 Twin edge $1,099 and Twin edge OC $1,149 in-stock/shipping today.
If you get a 3080 and I don't, let me know so I can wallow in self pity.
Thanks.
Edit. Pbtech didn't even list them, and everywhere else had no stock 🤣.

Hi all!
I am looking at building a pc - ideally it would be able to very comfortable run Planet Zoo, and Apex Legends with the possibility of streaming.
I have been informed that a really good graphics card would be the RTX 2070.
Ideally I would spend $2000 max to build, possibly with the graphics card above but need some pointers from people who know what is best for all of the above!
Any help much appreciated!
I am looking at buying a new gaming PC and am finding vast quantities of both pre-assembled PC's and components are "out of stock" at retailers with more going out of stock as time passes.
Please get in touch if you have a founders edition RTX 2080, 2080S or 2080Ti you’re willing to part with. Thanks!
Hi all, sorry if this isnt allowed.
Im selling a PowerColor 5700 XT Red Devil. I bought it on boxing day - it didnt fit my case. It was a stupid impulse buy and i didnt even really have the money to spend.
It comes in all the original box and packaging, and has the receipt from PBTech. I have a trademe listing for it here:
https://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/components/video-cards/pciexpress/auction-2497666016.htm
Would prefer to do the deal off trademe as I would lose quite a bit of money just in the commission!
Please let me know if you are interested - i want it gone!
UPDATE: sold!
