I am an international student applying for scholarship at Bucknell so I just wonder if there are any additional essays beside the why major that are required to achieved those scholarship?
I am interested in its program and want to hear everyone's thoughts about this co-major. What should I know before applying to this program?
I’m a first year music student and I think it’s some kind of recital hall but idk where

Alright so here are my stats, l am a junior at a private high school in California. I will have around a 3.64 weighted gpa and will have taken 3APs and 1 Honors. My extracurriculars are pretty strong and include, president and founder of a club as well as a company grossing significant revenue, various volunteer positions including a school service club, I am employed at a major luxury goods dealer (working on their website) and have done some online courses with Cambridge, Hillsdale etc. (Not sure if it is relevant anymore but I am a white Jewish guy from a financials well off family.)
btw I am out of the USA
what does everyone think about the new dining? does anyone have any food recommendations? personally, I think the new burgers at bison are really good.
I realized a bit too late that I want to change some of my classes, but is it too late to do that?
I've heard some not great things regarding lgbt acceptance at bucknell and wondering how much of that holds water? Really liked the school on paper but I'm trans and don't want that to mess with anything
My rising high school senior daughter and I are visiting Bucknell this Friday. She's interesting in pursuing a TBD STEM field, but also wants to be able to pursue her dance hobby/passion although not as a major.
So for all you Bucknell students/experts...What in particular should we look for or ask during the visit? What was the most important or surprising thing (good or bad) that you didn't fully understand or think to ask about ahead of time?
Thanks for any ideas and advice...
I just got my schedule and I have a Friday 8am lab, and I saw the same lab is also on Tuesday at 7pm. How would I go about asking to switch?

Hey y'all--
Is there any sort of punk/indie music scene in Lewisburg? Can y'all direct me to some bands/venues if there are?
Thank you!
I just finished my junior year of high school and it’s time to start applying to colleges. The end of my juinor was a very rough time for me (my relationship with my parents was (is) in a very bad state) and my gpa went down to a 3.1. I have a 32 act, 6 aps, 2 clubs (prez of 1), own a small business, published a book, lots of community service, I work at a summer camp. I definitely want to ED somewhere to boost my chances and I’m deciding between (I think) tulane, lehigh, and bucknell. From what I’ve research, ED chances for these schools significantly increase from RD. I’m not relying on that because they are all good schools but it would be a dream to go to tulane. I am pretty confident that I could get into Lehigh ED based on what other people have said. My dad went to Bucknell, (if that helps) but I don’t think I would get in even if I ED. I visited tulane and loved it and I know that they are all about binding and showing interest in the school, but I think with such a low gpa it wouldn’t make sense for me to get in. 😣 Do they really accept 68% of ED applicants? If I ED there, would I get in?? Someone lmk!
side note: I am white, live in NY, luckily financial aid isn’t an issue, I have an idea of what I would want to major in but if any certain major would help me get into the college I want I would apply for that and then maybe switch.
So I am an incoming junior in highschool, and I have been looking at universities to go to, and I have been looking at Bucknell because it has many of the criteria I am looking for in a college, however I am a bit confused because when I looked at what minors I could minor in, it only said that majors could minor the selected minors of their field. I wanted to minor in Chinese and major in political science for context.
I am about to be a freshmen in college and recently got off the waitlist at both schools. I’m going into business and have heard great things about both. however I have a sibling at bucknell and since it’s so small I’m not sure if that would be a bad thing. Anyone who goes to either school who could help me out??
Hi guys, I don't know how to use this platform (I just joined today) but I am looking for alumni who attended the following universities: George Washington University, Bucknell University, UC Davis, and Fairfield University. Please let me know if any of you guys know anybody or if you believe you meet the requirements! I am requesting for a short (no more than ten minute), virtual interview for my final project for AP Language & Composition. Thank you so much for reading all of this and if you are down, please reply back to this comment or DM me. You would also be featured in my paper!
Let's look back at some memorable moments and interesting insights from last year.

I am considering Bucknell for my ED II. is there anyone online who is student, accepted or graduated from it, I have some questions about it.
Hey, any physics majors at Bucknell? I'm looking to apply in a small school for physics but heard that each school has super different students, so I'd just like to meet the students in the physics department since that will be the biggest variable in my decision. How are physics students at Bucknell like? What's the culture within the department, and how would it differentiate from other LACs? (assume idk anything, I don't know much about LACs). I'm a bit worried, since I actually don't know much about physics due to the online learning disruption from COVID, I was hoping going to a smaller university would make it easier for me to catch up. Thanks!
