Car detailing/buffer of paintwork

Hey there

I have a really small job - it's just a small buff of a few areas of my car to minimise the scratches. I was told if you can see white through the paint it is too deep to buff. So I guess it's a case of do what you can do which is probably a 30 minute job but who knows? $70 per hour.

IT/Tech person needed for a very small business at Norman Park/East Brisbane

Hi there,

I need someone to help fix my DYMO XL printers. I have watched the You Tube videos, but truthfully too much detail for me with my ADD brain.

I also need help to fix my phone in terms of mail accounts (I have several and they are not set up right on each device). I also need to set up a third party to log into these accounts.

Also fix my Outlook on my laptop - it says I am connected but I can't send messages from all 3 accounts.

Also have a look at why my internet keeps failing (although this isn't the priority).

And help me get all the devices to mirror each other with passwords. I just got a new iPhone and OMG it's all gone to shite. I am trying to run a business and it is killing me.

I need a tech geek please to help - $65 per hour cash. I am at Norman Park/Wynnum Road.

Oh I forgot the SONOS issue too! lol Oh and can you show me how to scan files on my printer please? Oh and fix up some cords. Oh and get my son's light up gaming chair to work again?

If you hadn't guessed my ex-awesome partner (no sarcasm he was lovely) was IT! Now I am on my own I have no friggin idea what I am doing. HELP!

As a major bonus, if you know anything about how Mercedes computers and how they work - there's another half an hour!

Anyone tech person bored?

Looking for HR roles!

I’m looking for a man in finance…

Just kidding.

I’m starting to think about my next move and thought to think outside the box and give Reddit a try. I was in recruitment (agency and internal) for about 8 years and recently moved into the HR space. Though technically, my tenure is short - my experience is large having been thrown in the deep end having to do full redundancy programs (develop and lead) and company restructures. I also advocated and presented a 4 day working week model (at 100% salary) to my executive leadership team and got that over the line.

I manage conflicts, employee compensation and benefits and have had a seat at the table for all my HR roles.

I’m super passionate about employee wellbeing. A lot of HR professionals are there to only serve the employer and I really do my best to find the balance - because without people, what do you have?!

Anyway, I’m based in Brisbane. I’m happy to do a couple of days in office but I’ve been primarily work from home since 2019. That flexibility is important to me.

If anyone has anything for me, please let me know! I’m doing the whole seek and LinkedIn campaigns as well.

Thanks team x

Scam or?

I posted on Facebook that I’m looking for a barista job with a brief job history but no CV. A person contacted me that asked if I was interested in working for their cafe that opens in a little more than 1 week and arranges a call for 3 tomorrow. He didn’t ask for my CV. He gave me the cafe name but because this cafe isn’t open yet I can’t check to see if it’s a real cafe. I checked his Facebook profile and he has been around for years and have normal Facebook posts but no posts about opening a cafe. It sounds normal to me but from an outside perspective does this sound like a job opportunity or scam?

Questions about Sonography, Occupational Therapists and overall job opportunities

Hi everyone,

I'm currently undergoing a Bachelor of Pharmacy and am planning to move to a different career path as the pharmacy industry is not good. I've done some research and I wanted to ask a few questions about some occupations.

  1. Those who are/have undergone education to become a Radiographer/Sonographer, what pathway did you go to? Was this done through obtaining a Bachelor of Medical Imaging and then Masters?
  2. If you are an Occupational Therapist, what would you say your daily schedule is like and what sector do you work in? Is it a satisfying job?
  3. What entry level jobs would be available for me as I would not have completed my Bachelors, but have prior knowledge of health? Or would it be starting from scratch?

My main concerns is that I want to get a job that would be attainable through maximum of 4 years studying, and to get a job that is paid fairly okay (60-80,000 is fine). I just am really sick of being in the pharmacy industry and need to find a career before the next semester begins.

Please be detailed with your experiences if you can, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
