My 16-year-old dog Izzy is in a tough spot. After a 2+ year bout with cancer that slowly got worse over time, her health has deteriorated significantly over the last two weeks and she is likely in her final days.

She takes a heart medication called Vetmedin 2.5 mg capsules (Pimobendan) and needs probably no more than 8-10 capsules to get her through her final days. The challenge is that we are down to our last capsule and to shell out the cost of a full 100 count bottle would be expensive and a waste.

So, ISO someone who might have a handful of capsules to spare, or someone who would want to take a mostly full bottle of Vetmedin of my hands once they're no longer needed.

I’m turning 19 on December 9 and having 2 events like I do every year. I bought 2 beautiful dresses for the occasion that I’d love to wear.

1st event is on my actual birthday (since it’s on a Monday) and it’s a fancy dinner with family. Usually we go Wok of Fame, Mandarin, or Tandoori Flame. Any other ideas (non Indian) are appreciated.

2nd event will be the weekend after my birthday and I have no clue what to do for it. I will be going clubbing a separate time- but I need ideas where I can dress fancy, take pictures and have fun with friends. It’s only a couple friends + my boyfriend so nothing big at all- maybe fancy dinner place recommendations.

The 1st I would prefer restaurant ideas in Brampton, but the 2nd can be a bit out the city and I’d be fine.

And for the 2nd, nothing like bowling or anything please- I want something fancier, like it can be in Toronto or nearby cities.

So yeah. You read the title. Saturday early in the morning around 3am ish a neighbours car alarm started going off. It went on and off for hours. Eventually I fell asleep around 6 or so long. During the day it stopped. Then it started again a few hours ago. I have no idea what’s going on but it’s annoying as hell and I’m ready to call the city for a noise complaint. Does anybody know if this would be justified?

Update: No worries. Car was gone from neighbours driveway when I got home last night. And the reason I didn’t call for a welfare check is because it is a roommate kind of housing. I would hope if something was happening then anyone else living in the residence would make the call.

I saw York has an online beginner Korean class. Was thinking of taking that. if there's something local in-person in Brampton I'd prefer that though

Anyone else having such a hard time using Tax Exempt/ Native Status?? Every time I pull it out in store, they don’t know what it is, say it’s fake and/or that they just straight up don’t take it. MANY places aren’t trained to apply it to purchases and usually have to call the manager or store owner. I’m aware you can keep your receipts and get the money back with the application online but that wastes so much time.

Having seen many friends and relatives be on both sides of the real estate business, landlords and tenants, I wanted to ask a couple of questions about when you are looking for a new place to stay (if you are a tenant), or looking for a new tenant (if you are a landlord).

Many people go straight to Kijiji, and Facebook marketplace to post their listings (landlords), or look for potential places to stay (tenants). My question is what do you think is lacking from these platforms from both the perspective of landlords and tenants? What new features do you think would make the process smoother of finding a new place to stay in (as a tenant), or a new tenant for your place (as a landlord)?

I am working on an assignment that analyzes commonly-used digital platforms in business and what could be improved on them.

Some improvements that I can think of on these platforms is

• People searching for a place to rent should be able to clearly see a) the monthly rent and b) any fraction of utilities they are responsible for. The utilities info should not be hidden somewhere in the description.
• For landlords, when a tenant reaches out to them, they should be able to see a "tenant profile", which contains the number of people that will be living at the premise, any pets/smoking, etc. in a clear place. This minimizes the back and forth that goes in.

I'd love to have your insight on this based on your experience. I truly appreciate your time! Thank you so much :)

I see this everyday when I take the bus from here. It's right next to the Cemetery. There's a time Horton's across the street in the plaza and the bin on the sidewalk is also always overflowing and people just leave their coffee cups on the ground. I guess the others dump them here. It's awful.

Okay at 6am in the morning when it's freezing cold it's ridiculous for the drivers to not pay attention and drive past stops. The buses never come often enough or are always late. If the driver misses you and you have to wait for the next bus, you've been waiting over 20 minutes. This happens all the time. I hate ZUM with a passion. I've never hated a transit system so much.
