When you own the suit and the sword, it's an easy costume.
I’m now that the series isn’t finished but has Boom ever mentioned if they plan to just stick to deluxe editions in terms collecting the issues long form or if they’d do an Omni once it’s finished?
I basically wanna know if I should be buying the deluxe editions or just hold out for the omni if they make one in like 5 years lol.
As far as I can tell there's 2 different editions, which one is better and what's the difference? Also are they both in print right now?
I just want to know if the two series are connected or is Power Rangers Prime set in a brand new continuity. Wikipedia mentions that the timeline was rebooted following the end of Darkest Hour but I don't remember the timeline being rebooted at all. I do remember Billy leaving at the end to dedicate his life to fixing the Morphin grid.
If anyone can clarify, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Or if we'll get it. Honestly just anything that isn't singles.
Howdy y’all!
I just picked up this series and am literally obsessed with it. I just finished reading up to issue 20 and can’t wait to catch up to issue 40.
I noticed there’s an issue 0 coming out next month and m curious are they picking up after that with issue 41? I can’t seem to find any info on if there is going to be more story after issue 40 so I was wondering if 40 is the end of the series or is issue 40 and issue 0 just the last bit of content we’re getting for the series in 2024?
Please don’t spoil any plot details past issue 20! Just wanna know if there’s and ending in sight or if this is just going to pick back up in 2025.
Not sure how many people might be sleeping on these but Boom is putting out some incredible books. I’m glad to see the third volume of Wynd returning in a few months. Skull-Crusher is fun with some great art. I’m hoping the third volume of Orcs! won’t be the last. I love these characters. I’d say Grim deserves more praise too!
Small week but a good week!!
Dune: House Corrino #6 I know about Dune comics, so I have nothing to offer unfortunately. Anyone reading this??
Hello Darkness #3 There is a "mukbang" story in this that is absolutely repulsive. More SIKTC, more The War.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Usagi Yojimbo #1 I'm only a third of the way into this issue but it's good so far!! A fun crossover!
BRZRKR: The Lost Book of B #1 Second Printing Haven't been caught up on this but with the Deluxe Edition of BRZRKR coming out, maybe I will catch up!
Ghostlore Vol. 3 TP Not familiar! Anyone reading??
BRZRKR Deluxe Edition HC A good opportunity to catch up here!
Not a lot, but some cool stuff for sure. What does everyone think??
! get her divination powers?!<
I'm up to Chapter 12 or so and it felt like she just suddenly has magic powers. Did I miss something? I tried skimming the previous chapters and couldn't find anything.
Fairly small week for single issues!
The Graveyard Club #1
This is an R.L. Stine creation so I may check this out. Read Goosebumps as a kid! Anyone else?? I'm also seeing a trade paperback for this too? A little confused by that.
Jim Henson's Labyrinth #1 Love the Muppets but there's no way that this is like the Muppets, right?
Lawful #4 This series has been a big surprise for me. I'm loving it. Really excited to give it a read this week!
S.I.R. #2 Love the idea of motorcycle jousting but this art style is just NOT for me. Has anyone else read this??
Cursed Pirate Girl: Malodious Mutiny TP & HC Have never heard of this. Anyone know if it's any good?
Hex Vet Vol. 3: The River Guardian TP Not 100% sure what this is all about bit looks to be part of the KaBOOM! Imprint. Could be a fun kids one but probably a bit more "occult" than I usually go for given the solicit.
Lotus Land TP Patricio Delpeche on colors and Nate Piekos on letters means I may give this a go. Not sure about dystopian cyberpunk but could still be fun!
Everyone, let me know what you think!
So sorry I'm later than anticipated this week. It was my birthday this weekend, so we were busy and I started a new role at work this week so I've been bogged down like crazy.
Small week for BOOM, but some good stuff!
The Amory Wars: Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume 2 #5
A mouthful. I read issues 1 and 2 and it was a decent follow up to volume 1 but I'm behind now and need to catch up.
Garfield #2
Issue #1 was awesome - my kids and I did a review here . Excited to check out issue #2!
Profane #4
Read issues #1 and #2 - did not like it. I don't plan on following this one further.
Red Before Black #2
Missed the boat on issue 1 but looks intriguing. Anyone reading this?
Something Is Killing the Children #1 Archive Edition
Is an Archive Edition just a facsimile? Cool that they're reprinting regardless, issue #1 of this has gotten crazy expensive.
What does everyone think?? Any big Boom weeks for anyone?
