Sorry if this is a dumb question but is there a different between first edition and second edition for the deluxe slipcase?
I drew her again ;)
Erica slaughter from “Something is killing the children”
Hey folk, I have a ton of shortboxes of my old boom studios Comics. If anyone is interested let me know what series and o will see what I have. I have a ton of SIKTC and MMPR books including some rare ones.
Love the Blue Masks but would really like to know more about the house. Are there any stories about them in House of Slaughter?
Was a pleasure to chat with former CEO & founder of BOOM! Studios Ross Richie. From publishing to adrenaline & so much more. Check it out now!
I’m giving up on hunting it down and would like to have it physically
It's my favorite Boom comic and I do want it but it's 90 dollars & most comic readers don't even remember it exists. I just don't want Boom to think the comic doesn't have fans
Hi all!
I was just looking to see if I Love Skull-Crusher's TPB Volume 1 has a release date.
I see it listed as December 25th in a few places, which I assume is a placeholder?
I was hoping I'd be able to pick it up as a christmas present!
Just been tryign to check in on the Boom website for any info but the site appears to be down.
Ordered this limited foil edition from Boom and this corner is mangled! Reached out to Boom and have yet to receive a response. I’m like kind of pissed off. What do I do?
None of the first 4 issues of this Boom book has made the WPL, and I'm sure it doesn't help that horror anthologies are ubiquitous, especially this time of year. While the other stories aren't anything special, The War is one of the best things currently being written. It's probably only second to The Nice House By The Sea on the list of comics most look forward to reading each month. I really enjoy restrained Ennis: 303, Red Team, Sara, Punisher MAX (much more than his Punisher run with Dillon) Soviet, The Platoon My War Gone By, Peacemaker, Get Fury, Ribbon Queen, Get Fury and I'm currently reading Caliban. I can honestly say this is as good as anything he's written.
It's only horror in that it's a slow burn psychological thriller that is framed around current real world events (the Russia/Ukraine war). The first 3 entries were great but HOLY WTF the 4th part took things to a new level, with two scenes that were genuinely among the most disturbing things I've read/seen in any fiction medium.
Hopefully this will be released as a separate trade, but if you're into intense, psychological suspense thrillers that will make you extremely uncomfortable at points, PLEASE read this book.
So I'm looking to buy a mask that the house of slaughter use. I have found several including on Etsy and the official website. However the one on the websites print looks small and I'm wondering if it's worth shilling out for the Etsy one. If y'all got any photos of people wearing the official one or different ones I'd be love to see them.
I recently finished Tate Brombal and Nick Robles' Behold, Behemoth series and absolutely loved it. I thought the writing was sharp, the art was stunning, and the story hooked me from the get-go. I originally thought this was a 5-issue miniseries, however issue #5 leaves on a huge cliffhanger and we get an 'End of Book 1' footnote at the bottom of the last page, seemingly implying the story isn't finished. But now I'm getting worried because I haven't seen a release date for issue #6 or any news about it returning, but I also haven't seen any confirmation that it was cancelled. Does anybody have any information on this? Would also love to hear people's thoughts on the series in general.
When you own the suit and the sword, it's an easy costume.
I’m now that the series isn’t finished but has Boom ever mentioned if they plan to just stick to deluxe editions in terms collecting the issues long form or if they’d do an Omni once it’s finished?
I basically wanna know if I should be buying the deluxe editions or just hold out for the omni if they make one in like 5 years lol.
As far as I can tell there's 2 different editions, which one is better and what's the difference? Also are they both in print right now?
I just want to know if the two series are connected or is Power Rangers Prime set in a brand new continuity. Wikipedia mentions that the timeline was rebooted following the end of Darkest Hour but I don't remember the timeline being rebooted at all. I do remember Billy leaving at the end to dedicate his life to fixing the Morphin grid.
If anyone can clarify, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
