I got both of these today and can’t wait to read them. I especially love penguin deluxe editions so I had to pick up this copy of wuthering heights
Went to the grand opening of a new Barnes and Noble. Met Jeneva Rose and got a signed copy of Home is Where the Bodies Are.
This haul was from their bag sale day. Fill any size bag for only $5!
Some recent finds, both new and used, from a variety of bookstores in my area. My lovely partner was visiting last week (all the way from 🇦🇺➡️🇨🇦😭), and since we are both book goblins, much of our time was spent hunting for illustrious volumes. This is what I came out with.
Note: I've read Dune 500 times but couldn't pass up this really lovely trade format. Perfect flop.
I stumbled across a bookshop while coming back from a seminar and couldn’t resist the bookworm within me. Got some of my most anticipated books which were in my reading list. Lovely day, it is. Also, you can see a bookmark around the top left; the bookshop staff gave it to me for free! I love this so much, happy times.
I did go a little book crazy this month, but the majority of these were purchased while on holiday! (The weight of my suitcase was brutal)
Started the day at a stationery store but after the second one found the Ice Cream mag. Then went to a used bookstore wheee I found the cover of ORLANDO I wanted.
Last my local bookstore was having an anniversary sale so I left with their book club pick of The Dry Heart, Story of the Eye a book mentioned in MEAVE FLY and The Monk recommended by a coworker because I finished Dracula. The Between, because I need horror.
