Hello fellow riders! I need you help… any ideea where i could find a set of nipples with the correct dimension for my 15 inch rear wheel ? I Live in Europe. The bike is a 1996 Honda vt600 c shadow, and the nipples are damaged, i was about to true the wheel but they are messed up.. any link to a set or a website would help.. i also do not know their correct size.. thank you guys!
I have been a welder and steel fabricator for 20 years so I’m pretty comfortable with that area but I’m new to anything motorcycle. I inherited this bike and won’t ride it as is (stock). I looked around the internet for pictures and saw that this bike is nice looking with some minor modifications to the tail and seat. Exhaust and handlebars as well. Can I get kits for this bike to save me some fab work? It’s shaft driven so I don’t want to completely mess with changing to much and getting over my head. Any suggestions?
So this is my little 125 project the second photo is a rough idea of what we are gona do. The reason why im only doing the top rails is because of the budget. Im lucky enough that iv got someone in the UK that builds hardtail Sportsters. To guide me, im certainly not a profesional fabricator simply a fan of the custom scene and this is my offering to a little custom 125 project
Hey guys what’s going on! New to Bobbers and I recently picked up a 03 Vt1100 and am getting ready to chop the rear off and throw on the solo seat. But wanting to tackle the bars after that. I am looking at doing a 10-12” lift on them so they’re shoulder level. Anyone know a place or way to do the cable extensions for a budget friendly build? Hate to buy cable extensions for $500+ when I spent that on the bike!
Debate Topic: Stock Exhaust vs. Custom Exhaust: Let's Get Loud!
Alright, gearheads, it's time to settle the score once and for all: stock exhaust versus custom exhaust. Grab your helmets and hang on tight because this debate is about to kick into high gear!
Team Stock Exhaust:
Stock exhaust, baby! Why mess with perfection? Manufacturers spend ages fine-tuning these babies for optimal performance and sound. Stick with stock and keep the purr of reliability under your seat. Plus, who needs the headache of voiding warranties?
Team Custom Exhaust:
Custom exhaust, all the way! Stock may be fine for the masses, but where's the fun in conformity? Let your bike's true voice be heard with a custom exhaust. It's not just about performance; it's about making a statement. Who wants to blend in when you were born to stand out?
Now, it's your turn to rev up the debate! Are you a stock rider or a custom crusader? Let's hear it, folks!
I’ve seen a lot of people turn cb750s into cafe racers, but I’m thinking of turning mine into a bobber. I haven’t found a lot of resources out there for it since most people use Shadows for their builds instead. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated!
I know this is a noob question, but I’m not sure I can get away without having them in my city. Cops pull you over for ANYTHING where I live, because it’s a small college town.
I’ll be honest most mirror and blinker setups look really shitty to me. Most bobbers I see don’t even have them. It’s a clean look.
Hope I can get some help. Can’t figure out why the turn signals aren’t working. The lights work, but the actual turn signals only work when switching back and forth fast on the switch or when I switch from high beam to low beam. I already put a new LED relay in as well.
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!
I have a 2003 midnight star and the previous owner fucked with the headlight wiring. I cant find a good diagram for it or it anyone has a actual picture on hows it supposed to look like? I was also wondering can i install the headlight without the switch?
Added handlebars still got a lot of work to do.
So I was given an old Yamaha maxim and I wanna make it into a bobber. Is there a good build thred or videos out there to help along in this process?

i want to put some 9.25inch lane splitters on my 2018 vstar 250 will i need to buy longer hoses?
Hey, i'm looking for a honda shadow for my first bobber build. Due to my age i'm limited to 50hp. I was thinking about the vt600 because of the tank without meters. And I was reading about single and double carb. Which one is better? And which build years should i look for?
