I’m working with an author who is releasing book 3 in his young adult Christian fiction series. The blurb needs some work, but not sure what. Ideas?

There are Four Truths Four Truths given by God and proclaimed by the priests. They are the foundation of all life inside and outside of the Spire. They keep everyone in their place as is proper before God.

Sharn doesn’t care about Truths. He only cares about begging or stealing enough to survive. He knows the stories; how the world had collapsed and all of society had moved to the great Spires to survive. He knows that he will never rise up the levels. He knows the Truths will keep him where he is.

Everything changes when a desperate plan for food goes awry and Sharn is forced to fight for his life. The head of the Spire Guard witnesses the fight and takes Sharn to the Insula—an exclusive school where young boys are trained to fight for sport. Hello! So I wanted to start by saying this is my debut novel that I am finishing editing up on. I am still working on finalizing the title but right now it is:

Hi all, I have a blurb that I really want to rework but I'm scratching my head on how. Here's what I have:

I want to go into the other three MCs a little bit more but I've heard too many characters named in the blurb is a big no-no. I have a bit of an ensemble cast going on in my book so I want to show the reader that they're getting into multiple POVs. I can offer more information on my story if anyone needs that, but I would also happily take general advice about multiple characters being in the blurb.

Also, just for the sake of comparison, I also have a blurb that Chatgpt generated when I put in the above and asked it to make it "snappy and pulpy". It flows very well, but I'm not sure if the ChatGPT version sounds cheesy in the extreme?

Hi - I'm looking for any and all honest feedback, editing suggestions or tips/advice for my book sales blurb.

In particular, the tense and voice (third person) were difficult for me, as the book itself is in first person, past tense.

I'm really bad at writing the blurb, I'd really appreciate some help. The book is a fantasy romance.

Here is some information about the book: The world is infected by a disease called Red Death, which infects plants, animals and humans. Animals and humans become aggressive and attack anything that moves. There's a wall built around the kingdoms to protect them. Lesetta discovers the cure and leaves the Tree Kingdom with her best friend Batazerith who she used to be in love with. She goes to the Sand Kingdom who they used to be in a war with and she fights in a tournament to prove that she can survive in the Dead Lands. Nyelus, a solider who was in the war and saved Lesetta's life joins them. He's very flirty, which she doesn't like, but after saving her multiple times, she starts to fall for him. Batazerith confesses that he loves Lesetta and both of them become her partners, which is normal in the world. She ends up curing the land and right before they think it's over, mages attack them. She also meets Elizarra who becomes another partner to Lesetta, as well as the Sand King, Zavard. They have to kill the mages in order to win the battle and bring peace.

This blurb is poor, how can I mak eit engaging, with a CTA effect - it's a kid's book aimed at parents buying for 8-12 year olds... I am getting cover views, but no CTs to sale... so it MUST be the Blurb..

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some feedback on my blurb for the second book in a fantasy series I'm writing. The first book has already been released, and I'll post that blurb below as well in case you want some context/to compare the two.

My series is a young adult fantasy series with Biblical themes that follows two main characters. I alternate each chapter's POV between the two characters.

Book 1 blurb (this book is already out):
