Brit Pop runs deep in the Pacific Northwest’s indie music scene and still does. Here is Decemberists’ Colin Melody (Portland) and Deathcab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard (Seattle) covering Blur’s End of a Century live in 2006
Song 2. I was 12-13 years old when the video blew my mind, Graham jumping onto the Rat pedal 😄 Coffee & TV caught my ear after that. Wbu?
Thought some of you might be interested in this - setlist from The Great Hall, Cardiff 1991.
Does anyone know which band member might have written it?
The songs in pencil were added after the gig by someone else to reflect the extra tracks they played.
IMO tender is blurs best song because it is
Hi, I attended the Wembley gig on Saturday 9th of July and it was great of course. However, I didn't manage to get a souvenir ticket when buying them or a wristband as I wasn't on the floor, so I was just wondering if anyone had any spares and I would be more than happy to pay a couple of quid (plus some for postage) for it if they are willing to sell it.
Thanks :)
Does anyone have the Blur concerts in Hyde Park 2009, 2012 and 2015 in good quality?
Does anyone know what modulation pedals Graham might have used on album 13? I understand he used a Rat for distortion and a Boss delay, but there are many other sounds after that that I have no idea what pedals they could be, does anyone know?
So I listened to the new album and it's great, the song city lights sounds like Its No Game off Scary Monsters and super creeps.
Hi so I have this question since this version came out because in the official page says it is but I can't find any information about it, so if anyone knows anything about the colour version of for tomorrow please share it
I love Blur and their riffs but I don't know how to create something similar but original. e.g: Country House, Beetlebum and Coffee & TV has riffs that I love.
The long enveloping melodies blue makes is off the charts!
Me and my husband are arguing about “Ill eat parole get gold card soul”
My Husband is saying “he’s singing “I read Thoreau that guys got soul” what your singing makes no sense”
Does anyone know what “ill eat parole get gold card soul” means?
I know that Country Sad Ballad Man attempt to parody a country ballad, but The Black Keys "This is Nowhere" It has a similarity to the Blur song, or is just me?
I'm a sort of new Blur fan, I've seen them last year at wembley and got into them about early 2021. Yesterday I decided to listen to the Spotify Radio show which Damon has on his Spotify as an artist Playlist and one of the things the radio host said intrigued me. Allegedly Spotify and Blur/EMI had made an app for IOS but when I searched it up there was nothing about it. The only stuff there was is a news article from the NME and that is it. There are also a couple videos on YouTube but not enough to really show you anything more than how parts of it worked and some videos about it.
Does anyone know anymore from this?
(not mine, found it on FB)
