A few weeks back we had our chimney cleaned by our normal chimney service. He was going to come back the following day to finish reseal the exhaust pipe to our wood stove, but hasn't. I've been calling them for several weeks and they are not returning my calls/going right to voicemail. I understand it's their busy season and things pop up so I'm not going to blow up their business on social media. He normally does a good job.

We tried using the wood stove the other day and the house filled up with smoke.

I am looking for a professional service to come in and finish the job. Its literally just making sure there are no leaks and the exhaust pipe is fully connected. We have a baby at home so we want the job done by an professional.

Has anyone had success booking a wine tour from the Binghamton area to the Seneca or Cayuga wine trails? All the transportation companies in the area seem to be over the top expensive. Any suggestions???

Anyone on or know anything about IBEW 10, specifically working with Avangrid/NYSEG in NY state? I know most of the IBEW, if not all, has abandoned THC testing, but any Info on THC testing pre and/or post-employment for NYSEG, specifically given the NY laws against THC testing for employment? I know there will be at least standard drug testing, which isn't a concern.

CDL, lineman, etc I would imagine get recurring testing when working NYSEG jobs right?...but call center and office? Anyone work an hourly or professional level position in the office with any insight? I can't see how they could be included in Marijuana testing given the reading of the NYS law but there's some federal ties here with funding, collective bargaining etc. I can't find a public copy of the contract either

Any insight much appreciated. I'm asking for a friend, so please save me the snarky "how about quit smoking" stuff please... I've been there and tried that...

I know I could just buy cheaper quality ears and a tail at like, spirit, but I'd prefer to have something made with a little more love if I can.

Not many changes have been implemented yet but they are coming. Plans call for the construction of several private party rooms. New ceilings and flooring will be installed inside the complex.

Marchuska said the outdoor attractions - the water slide and the miniature golf course - will be removed. Some additional parking spaces will be available where the golf course is currently located.

Mad as hell at Wegmans. Tubs of their chocolate chip cookies are $15. They have had 15 cookies in them as long as I remember. Bought them today and when I got home today and took them out of the bag, I noticed a small white sticker on the top that said “12 cookies”. Are you kidding me? With this tub, they were $1 a cookie, now they are $1.25 each. Just shrink the number in the tub, make more money. Geesh, that blows.

I have shoeboxes full of disposable vapes I need to get rid of. When I was in Washington the local grocery stores had bins you put them in. I have not seen those here. Where I can I bring these to recycle them them (preferably local to JC) that's not the dump?

I bought a ticket to the Justin Willman Illusionati tour on October 6th (Sunday) at the Broome County Forum Theater, but can no longer go. It's in orchestra section B, row S, so pretty much in the center of the theater so the view should be really nice.

I paid $50 for it, but I'm willing to take $40 or the best offer. I can easily transfer it through the ticketmaster website, so everything is secure!

So far I’ve been to JC middle school, and Binghamton university tennis center.

Would prefer to not have to hike to a spot, but open to all suggestions!
