Can start at either end. Was planning on getting car ride to Cumberland, then riding back.
I'm also doing a shakedown within the next week from N. Va. to whatever camp I reach in a day and back.
Both of my bikes are out of commission right now, but I'd like to meet up with other fat bike riders. I've been struggling with punctures for the last couple years, so maybe someone can help me with that. I have a road bike that I like riding in the summers between 10-20 miles. I'm pretty fat these days, so maybe only 3 miles. Haha
Anyone interested in mountain biking on the weekend?
James
To ride on paved trails.
I'll ride anything, I just hate riding alone.
I will be doing a casual ride around West Tokyo tomorrow morning.

As the title says, I'll be at Angelfire bikepark on Sunday 9/12 and Purgatory bike park the following Friday or Saturday, 9/17 or9/18, depending on time. I've never been to either park so it would be cool to meet up with someone who knows the park or is interested in exploring together, that would be awesome.
I'm a 30yo old man and I'll be camping at Angelfire, probably staying at the resort at Purgatory. I'm thinking I'll stick to blue trails for the most part, but I'm open to suggestions as well.
Hit me up any way you want through reddit if you're interested!
Hello!
I am a part of a startup that is working towards finding other cyclists at your same skill level to ride with. We use ride data from Strava or Garmin to calculate a match. I found several posts of people asking for this exact thing ("how do I find people to ride with"), and instead of posting on each one, and rezzing old posts, I decided to post my own post.
We interviewed a few dozen cyclists from Japan and the USA and this seemed to be one of the biggest issues – mentioned in almost all of the interviews.
The app does have some other features as well, but the biggest thing we're doing is allowing people to create rides using RideWithGPS routes and find others to ride with them.
If you have a chance, I'd love to have feedback from others in the cycling community!
The website is https://sporra.cc, and we have an app, but the Rides part of the app isn't done yet.
I ride around 5AM and my ride distance is between 15-70Km would like a riding buddy cus solo riding hasn't been fun
Looking for easy going rides on the trail anywhere between Farmersville and Pecan gap.
Heya, this is Gina (20yrs) and I am looking for some biking buddies that like going fast and are up for some spontaneous trips. These don't need to be in Jacksonville. I have a gravel bike (and soon a XC bike), which is why I'd prefer riders that don't mind going off-road into forests etc. City riders would be cool too, no problem.
Thanks for reading, and stay aero :D
Hi, just moved from the bay area. I'm in SD now and looking to check out new trails. meetup.com is a bust, most mtb related pages havent been updated in months. I realize we're still in a pandemic and I practice good social distancing, wear a mask etc. I just need to get out and pedal and I don't like doing that solo ever since I blew out my shoulder. I have a full sus carbon specialized, 30 Y/O, moderate shape. I like flow, some technical. not big on jumps at the moment. Please hit me up if you're interested!
Hello, im travelling to LA the 12th and always heard there are good trails outside the city. Im planning on buying a SB6, if theres a good deal, or a Bronson 2019+ and would love to test them there.
Im not an aggresive rider but i do enjoy dh.
PS: Im 32, male, from Peru. I just got back from a knee injury a 2 weeks ago, so right now im out of shape.
I live in the Chelsea area, so DTE and Poto are right in my neighborhood, and are also my favorite SE Michigan trails! I'm not particularly fast and prefer playing around on features more so than trying to get through the trail as fast as I can (especially at DTE where there are actually purpose build features), so ideally I'd like to find people in a similar boat. Last time I was at DTE I sessioned that long skinny that makes a 90 degree turn. Haven't even made it to the turn yet, but I'm making progress (and getting really good at bailing)! Would also like to play around on that new feature on the Green Lake loop, though it looks quite intimidating with the height and speed it would require to clear it.
Marquette is my MTB home away from home, I love it there and would also love to find more people to go with. Though it looks like the regular MTB season is quickly coming to a close up north, I might head back for snow biking. And of course, I also plan to do some snow biking around here.
How’s she goin?
Looking to find some folks who enjoy getting out on the bikes and going for a rip. I am a transplant up here and my only bike friends drive up here from Georgia to spoil themselves with the terrain we have as our backyard each summer. Needless to say that leaves me doing a lot of solo rides, which depending on the trail system you may find yourself on isn’t always wise.
I’d say I’m in the intermediate bracket somewhere as far as skills, meaning I’ll ride anything you put in front of me ranging from green to dbl black. Essentially I like to ride bikes, wether it’s flowy mellow single track, DH parks, techy trail systems, urban sessions or farting around in Nosehill or Fish creek in up for it. I’m usually out in the Canmore Nordic centre or surrounding area, or Bragg as it’s close and fun.
Here’s the real kicker, my truck has recently broke down so I’m without wheels. As long as there is room for a bike and a willing driver I’ll happily contribute fuel to the mix. Once she’s back up and running it’s a great shuttle out Bragg way.
If you’re up to boogey out and get a ride in sometime send me a message and we can figure something out. Cheers
Flying in early and have a couple days to myself. Looking at trailforks, Sourland and Round Valley seem pretty close and fairly legit! Anyone want to ride there or if you have a better suggestion I'm open to any.
I'm a stronger biker than I am skilled, but I like technical enduro-type riding. Overall I probably fall into the upper end of intermediate.
If anyone’s down to ride, I’ll be here the next couple days hurricationing from Dorian! I’m an intermediate rider but I like to go fast, I’d appreciate the company.
Hello again everyone. Just putting out there that I'm planning another fun ride this weekend, weather permitting. I'm starting at my friend's house in Oldsmar, but I'm willing to meet up on the way!
We'll be riding through Philippe Park to Cafe Vino Tinto in Safety Harbor. We can meet up at either of these locations between 7:15am and 7:45am, then on through the Clearwater Ream Wilson Trail to the Duke Energy Trail, swing south, and take the Druid Rd Trail west to the beaches. We'll hop over the bridge to Sand Key Park, and then begin our return journey.
Round Trip to/From Cafe Vino Tinto is about 30 miles, and we'll be taking a moderate pace of about 14-16 mph.
I haven't seen much in the way of MTB meetup groups anywhere other than education. Is anyone up for hitting some MTB trails? Some of my faves are Duthie Hill, Soaring Eagle and St. Edwards. I'm happy with anything on dirt- XC, downhill or even uphill.
Posted last week, but rain ruined everything. Planning on riding across the Gandy bridge, down through Shore Acres and Snell Isle to DTSP, along the PT for a bit, then down onto parts of the South Loop, and back, with a fun little climb through Rosser Park.
7am with a coffee stop at some point along the way. Let me know!
I have really been wanting to get into mountain biking and have my eye on getting a new bike really soon. However, I have no experience at all and would need someone to show me some easy trails and feed me basic upkeep for my bike.
I'm 27, really quiet but friendly and eager to learn. I'm not in very good shape but not overweight. If anything, I'm underweight and just have bad conditioning right now. So someone who has the patience to teach me a few things and allow me to keep up with them would be great. Thanks for reading!
Hey everyone, I'm going on a 70ish mile bike ride Saturday morning. I'm not the strongest cyclist, so I'm looking to keep a ~15mph avg speed or so. Going for a long day in the saddle and wanted to see if anyone wanted to join.
Stops at Coffee Shops are a must. Message me for more details!
going to try and ride Stewart around 5 on Friday and looking for a group or someone to ride with. parking on baron and going from there. let me know if you wanna ride!
Anyone down to mountain bike on the weekends in these areas let me know I need a partner so it's a little safer.
Hey friends,
I've found myself in a situation where none of my highschool friends ride mountain bikes anymore, or have moved on to greener pastures (Whistler, Squamish, etc.)
I used to work at a bike shop but have since moved on and my hours don't line up with the best bros I've ever ridden with, which makes me sad, but not visibly.
I'm not a socially awkward person, so don't be afraid of an awkward encounter.
I ride a 2018 Slash 9.8, not afraid of climbs, but definitely prefer gnarly bike park days.
I just bought myself a golf wagon, so I'm not up for shuttling moose or Swansea, but I'm absolutely ready to mile the piss out of my car in an attempt to bring us both to the bike park or any trail head parking lot.
Consider this my official dating ad. open for men and women alike. PM me if you wanna party lap most weekends.
My partner and I are decent road and mountain bikers- looking for other riders esp for weekday rides around Salem or Wakefield.
I just moved to Denver and have been riding solo since I got here! Would love to have some riding buddies. I am, I would say, an intermediate to advanced rider. I am still getting used to the altitude but am ready to shred whenever possible!
Used to do some biking with the wife but she is pregnant this summer and solo rides are great but would appreciate a buddy. Usually prefer road rides after work during the week with longer mountain bike rides or road adventures on the weekends. 30yr old male, work from 7-4.
I ride steep stuff on gravel most of the time. Misson Peak, Sierra Vista point, mt ham by trail. I want to explore and ride fireroads at big basin statepark.
Hey I'm 30, around Oakland, ride a trek fuel EX5 29er. Looking to hit some nearby trails! I've got a car with a bike rack if we vibe well and wanna check out some trails a bit further away. I've checked out redwood regional park a few times, might do Mount Diablo soon. Hit me up!
