Hey so just getting back into beyond Skyrim as a whole and I'm wondering if each addition to beyond Skyrim will get a main storyline or something of sorts? Or another question is is there going to be new mechanics? Sorta like shouting, but obviously won't be because I feel shouting is more for Skyrim/solsthime. Just wondering cuz idk loll
Thanks to help from Snipey360, Beyond Skyrim Bruma has received an update on Xbox platforms decreasing the mod size drastically in order to make it more accessible with the 5 gigabyte modding limit.
When you have downloaded one of the two Xbox versions of Bruma (the original one had 4 parts, the updated one 6 parts) already, you need to remove those mods from your load order and install the new 3 part version instead. Though you might also want to finish your playthrough before upgrading, at least when you're on the original 4 part version of Bruma - we can't confirm that there will be no issues when switching. Otherwise, don't worry if it prompts you about missing plugin files BSHeartland1.esm and so on, these were empty plugins that were just responsible to load additional BSA archives which are not needed anymore, due to the size decrease. Just make sure you have the plugins BSAssets.esm, BSHeartland.esm, and BS_DLC_patch.esp.
The mod's size has been reduced to 2.2 gigabytes from its previous size of over 3.8. In order to accomplish this, some textures were downscaled, but the results are as unintrusive as possible, and much of the reduction was achieved via methods that result in no visible difference in game. PC versions of the mod are unaffected, and will have some increased fidelity from this point forward.
You can download the Bruma here: https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/all?author_displayname=BeyondSkyrim_DC
Basically the title. You can become a member of House Telvanni in Dragonborn, I want to know if this will be taken into account for the Morrowind project.
Can you tell us if it'll be possible to join the morag tong and the camonna tong (at least as a dunmer) in the full release?
Hello beyond skyrim devs. I am writing to ask about the culture or to be more specific cultures or cyrodiil. Will you guys follow the oblivion Canon, by making it so that there is no noticeable difference between, colovia, cyro-nords, niben, and the heart land? And to that end will at least eastern cyrodiil be a bit more jungle then oblivion? Thank you for your time.
Do any of your projects have any plans regarding the nerevarine? (It's definitely not a request, I hope you don't touch it)
Could this be a possibility for Xbox?
About a month ago, I got back the Akaviri artifacts for the Count of Bruma. Earlier, a random guard said that Adius wanted to talk to me. So I talked to him and he said he wanted me to deal with some Talos worshipers near Cheydinhal. I tried every possible road but all of them took me to invisible walls, so I had to go to the Ayleid ruin and scale a rock cliff down to the camp of the devout and use TCL console command to get back because it wouldn't let me scale the rock cliffs going west for some reason by normal means.
Then when I got back to Bruma, another guard said that he wanted to talk to me again. This time he wanted to catch up with me at the Jerall View between 4:00 p.m. and midnight, but he never showed up. I tried to complete that quest 3 (in-game) days in a row.
New music for Cyrodiil!
I recieved a note from Legate Varro asking me to report to Fort Pale Pass, however after reading the note & heading to the fort Legate Varro had no new dialogue options.
Ive seen this question asked before but im struggling to find the Quest ID for Legate varro & i dont know how else to get the quest to start as i dont have a save back then.
Hello, Adventurers of Tamriel!
We’re excited to announce that we, the Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil team, will hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) where you can ask us about our modding journey, insights into the development process, and answer your burning questions about our project to bring a new Cyrodiil of the 4th era to life in Skyrim’s game engine!
The AMA will start on October 26th at 8pm CEST and will be live for 24 hours. Mark it in your calendar, prepare your questions, we're looking forward to answer them!
Q: What is Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil?
A: Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil brings back Cyrodiil, the land from TES IV Oblivion, but 200 years later at the time as Skyrim plays. You can cross the border from Skyrim to Cyrodiil and explore a Cyrodiil in its state after the Great War, with new characters, quests and more.
Q: When can I play Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil?
A: You can already play a chunk of Cyrodiil in our prerelease Beyond Skyrim: Bruma which is available on PC and Xbox. The team is currently working on bringing the rest of Cyrodiil to life. You can see our latest overall progress update here.
Q: How can I get involved?
A: If you are interested to help out you can apply with your work here. If you currently lack the skills but are interested in learning how to mod, join the Arcane University Discord Server and learn from experienced teachers. Otherwise it's always great to share Beyond Skyrim with more people, maybe there is someone else who is interested to become a part of us! Every contribution counts and brings us closer to a release!
Q: Where can I follow your progress?
A: The best way to follow us on our Community Discord where all updates are posted first, as well as our YouTube channel where we post our update videos and trailers and re-post showcases from the Community Discord.
Q: Can I become Emperor?
A: For both story and gameplay reasons you will not be able to become Emperor.
Title is self explanatory. Also i'm pretty new around here and i'm sure this question has been thrown around a shit ton, but any rough release dates for each of the projects?
Will roscreans show up on the mainland ? I find the idea of non playable races popping up all over intriguing. Like maormer merchants in the imperial city or a roscrean in black light
If you wander through Hammerfell you're bound to come across some of the ancient Yokudan ruins built across the province.
And now thanks to some fantastic 3D work by Hayden - you can even go inside them!
Like all in development showcases, everything you see here is a work in progress and subject to change
We know now that Bethesda is accepting and pushing forward to paid mods, and with the recent success of kinggath’s expansion mods, will at some point Beyond Skyrim be on Creations? So all the devs will be paid for their hard work in this project. I know alot of you might dissagree but I think a project as big as Beyond Skyrim should be a paid mod, if im buying a paid mod beyond skyrim should be an exception.
Simple as that. I couldn't find it anywhere. Sure maybe there's a Discord but I personally don't use Discord. Am I missing something?
Bethesdha has a habit of keeping atleast 1 or a couple members of an supposingly exrinxt race around so will.bs do.the same?
Hello,
I’m a console player and I’ve started modding and porting stuff myself recently.
I was wondering if it would be ok to port a version of the Bonemold Weapons that has downscaled textures. As you may be aware we console players are limited to 5GB of space for mods and anything that can be done to save even a little bit of space here and there is tremendously appreciated.
Of course the Port would still credit and Link back to the original team and nexus page.
I hope you consider this request as I’m sure the console fans would be beside themselves with joy if you allowed this.
Thank you for all your work
I believe I’ve seen some sea creature stuff from argonia but I was wondering if any other cool sea creatures were planned. The thing I would be misted interested in seeing would be a sea serpent. I assume that would be really difficult to make though.
I don’t know the exact number, but let’s just say Cyrodiil is ~1.5x larger than Skyrim as depicted on maps. Will Cyrodiil be ~55 kilometers then?
self explanatory title, radiant quests from dawnguard making me go to gutted mine in cyrodiil. How to prevent matters like this from happening?
Will the way you can marry NPC's vary depending on wich province you're on? For example: If you are in Argonia you'll need to craft an special proposal band like Talen-Jei did when he married Keerava?
I kinda miss the samurai-like look orcish armour had then.
