when i select a song (by accident) i cant seem to go back and have to play it which is a bit annoying
Hello! I have been playing SDVX for a few months and I have been using the official Konami entry model controller, but I just upgraded to a facetwo, I was wondering, where is the best place I can sell my old controller where there might be a community interest?
Please, lmk... Thanks!
Since I was curious I tried to find online but couldn't find any, is it a truth that no one has it or is my researching skill very bad?
Hello, I'm looking for advice on iidx progression. I play 1048 transitional on 1p side, and don't typically reach button 3 with my thumb while scratching (I cover using thumb of opposite hand). I've been playing 9's for, honestly, the better part of a year for sure. I stopped playing for a few months out of frustration, but have recently been making some small, but encouraging progress. I can pass many (I won't say most but considerably more than half) 9's, and my general ranking is an A. In an effort to break through my wall, I've started playing random, as I avoided it for a long time, and I think it helps. I play random 8's mostly, again with an average rating of A, but can play some 9's on random too.
Through trial and error, I understand that the biggest issues I'm now facing are one's grounded in my playstyle. I struggle powerfully with anything which demands fast navigation of b1/b3, as well as scratching patterns that are, i guess, "left-side heavy." Like there are certain scratch chords and patterns that simply aren't feasible for me, especially in older charts, that would require my to rapidly contort my right hand to accommodate them and/or hit multiple buttons with a sideways thumb. Also, very rapid staircase patterns that bounce from b1 to b7 are big weak spot for me, because my finger confidence per button is still very uneven (b1/b3 and b6/b7 are typically where I fumble long and fast rolls and then struggle to recover).
I know that scratching is something I've heard people say you pick up late, and as necessary. So I'm wondering, should I maybe just skip charts that feel deeply unnatural for me right now, and accept that through the gradual process of playing random, I will develop the necessary skills, or should I try to zero in on these problems area's, and force the realization of unorthodox coverage? I really hate the feeling of playing a chart and it simply not making sense how I'm supposed to hit the buttons. What should I be focusing on? Is there anything more I can do than blindly practice?
i played sdvx with spice2x and can i connect it to real card?
Hey guys, anyone know that the shipping times are to the EU? I recently ordered a replacement PCB from Yuan himself since my own PCB got bricked.
I've scoured reddit and seen a couple threads (mostly regarding USC) but I'm wondering if anyone's gotten konasute working at 120hz flawlessly on any m2-m4 mac? I assume I'd have to use parallels or crossover - which is fine. Would a faucetwo work out of the box?
Ultimately, my rtx 4090 PC is collecting dust. konasute is really the only game I play on PC these days as I much prefer to just sit on the couch and play PS5 once work is over. I'd love to swap over to an m4 mac if possible.
I already have a Gitaller but I was thinking if anything were to happen to it that I’d get the official Konami one.
What do we know about it? Does anyone have it? Is it basically just plug and play since GTDR has a preset button config for it? Can it pick up wailing notes just by holding the guitar in the direction or do you have to input the wailing direction for each individual wailing even if you’re already in that position like the Gitaller? Build quality? How is the pick?
Just basically like how is this controller and is it worth the money? And how would I order it from the US? On eBay it says $800 which is like… no. So I’m wondering how I would get it otherwise since I think you have to use an eamuse account to get it (I think).
Where's the option to turn this annoying dinner plate off? I just want to push the buttons
hey guys I‘ve been experiencing huge lag spikes since the latest konaste update. I’ve been looking for solutions but can’t find any. I already have the latest gpu drivers installed and activated freesync for minimum tearing but none of that helped.
Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
You guys gotta help me, im going insane here. Ive tried adding a ton of different cards, from credit, to debit, to prepaid visa, and none of them are adding to the Konami payment. For the love of god I just want to play Sound Voltex.
Initially it sent me to my banks page saying i needed validation, got validation, then when I put it through again, it just sent be alllll the way back to the Konami payment screen before e-scott.
Using Prepaid visas dont seem to work because of the name requirements or some other ridiculous reason?
(I set the pin correctly and entered it) (It just says card details were entered wrong)
I cant take it anymore, plz help.
So I just finished building a DIY controller with an arduino leonardo. On spice everything seems to be working fine. Buttons are registering, and the turntable also works correctly. It goes between values of 0 to 100%, changing in small increments as I turn it and stopping when I stop turning.
The thing is, the turntable doesn't seem to work in beatoraja. When I try to rebind controls on the in game settings, the button inputs register correctly but the turntable movement isn't registered at all.
I was wondering if anyone happens to know a solution to this. I'm completely new to all of this and I'm kind of lost with what I should do next.
edit: Swapping the music select to 2dx sp in-game fixed it!
Does the Yuacon Pop'n controller work with the PCSX2 emulator?
I'm looking to grab a game (maybe two later on) and I wanna know if the menu's in the Japan only games are in english; at least enough for my mono-lingual self to play. I have a modded PS2 Slim to play them on so region isn't an issue outside of language. I know about the NA Beatmania on PS2; I want a little more variety available.
I'm starting to get into level 17's and the difference in button feel between the arcade and my FauceTwo is starting to cause a longer adjustment period whenever switching between the arcade and my home setup. I got my controller from Gamo's US warehouse (so DJDAO buttons and Omron switches).
From my understanding there are 3 parts to upgrade: the switches, springs, and buttons. It seems like the most necessary upgrades are the switches and springs. Does upgrading to Sanwa buttons make much of a difference/do I need to upgrade them if changing the other components? The other upgrades already cost a lot, and I don't know if I want to spend an extra $100 on the buttons if they don't make a much of a difference.
Edit: My controller has Omron 50g switches with 60g springs. The main difference I've noticed is that the arcade buttons have less travel distance and have more resistance at the start of the button press then at the bottom, compared to my home con that has more travel distance and a consistent amount of resistance throughout the button press. I could see how upgrading the switches (and necessarily the springs too) to Sanwas would make the controller feel closer to the arcade, but I feel like changing the buttons wouldn't have much of an affect.

Some noteworthy highlights:
Round 1 Delicious
New Food Court Concept
"Our food court will house 14 Grade B, Grade C gourmet restaurants such as Japanese ramen, curry, and kushikatsu as one unit. They will be located next to the newly opened Round1 store. These will be among the best Grade B, Grade C gourmet restaurants in Japan, ranking quite high in restaurant guides and Tabelog, a consumer review site. We currently plan to roll out two units with 14 restaurants per each to the first food court-integrated stores of Round1 in next winter." (pg. 8)
"The areas where we are planning to build food courts, which I mentioned, are greater Los Angeles, New York, Texas, and Florida, and these four areas are doing very well. Moreover, other areas tend to be sluggish. For example, in Illinois, centering on Chicago, there is a large town, so we should make more earnings, but we already closed several stores. Therefore, it is safe to assume that outside of these four states, there are few stores that contribute much to sales and profits." (pg. 23-24)
Store Performance
"Currently, on a same store basis, we are in a slightly negative trend. However, as I mentioned, October saw a YoY increase of 6% in real terms, and although it is on a downward trend, it seems to have recovered a little." (pg. 7)
"The new stores we had planned two years ago at the end of the pandemic are now opening one after another. However, it is not possible to open new stores quickly, and it is likely that we will probably only open about 10 new stores in the next fiscal year. From the following year after next fiscal year, we plan to fully accelerate the store opening. Hopefully, we would like to open stores at the pace of 15 to 20 per year, from FY2027.3." (pg. 7-8)
"We have already closed about four or five stores make deficit in the US. We will do so in the future as well." (pg. 17)
"In terms of growth rate, it is overwhelmingly the crane game machines. If the floor space of the store was not changed, the number of crane game machines highly increased. We have to reduce the space for video games, Purikura and redemption games that are not being used so much. The reason for increasing the number of crane game machines is that it directly leads to increased sales. For this reason, the number of crane games machines is increasing rapidly." (pg. 23)

I wonder if there's a store with merchandise about IIDX, or if you can find them directly inside the arcades. I try to search online but I can find only some Tran stickers and some ugly t-shirts. I'll be in Japan in December and I'll visit Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hakone and Hiroshima.
Thank you so much for the suggestions!
SOLVED: Apparently using a Klarna card works????
Did Konami start cracking down on International transactions? I used to be able to charge Paseli with my Visa debit card, but now I keep getting this error:
こちらのカードは現在利用できません。他の決済手段でご購入頂くか、もしくは日をあけてご購入頂くようにお願い致します。(P202) 正しい情報を入力しているにも関わらず繰り返しエラーが発生する場合は、 KONAMI IDにご登録いただいているクレジットカード情報を削除いただくことで解消する場合がございます。
I already tried deleting my saved card, I also tried using two other ones (Visa credit, Mastercard debit). Those other ones give me a different error:
処理が正常に終了しませんでした。 クレジットカード情報を再入力してください。
I'm not trying to reload an egregious amount, only 500 yen. I am working on setting up a proxy card, but does anybody else know why this error happens? I haven't recharged super recently, but I know it never used to be a problem.
PS: just to be clear, I triple checked that I have enough money, that's not the issue here.
i tried to use glovePIE to mapping mouse x y to keyboard input but spice2x doesnt get it
Pretty sure this was around when YouTube was first starting, it's not a direct cap and just filming a guy playing Love Love Sugar (or a song like that? Same character).
I think they're French because they start singing along with the song and go "PAP EN MUZIQUE" at one point. Anyway, at the end they have a big celebration which involves a completely naked dude humping the controller and grunting like a wild beast.
I think it was called "Pop'n Sex", but can't be sure.
Thank you for any help :)
