I heard they have bad buttons but a decent turntable. However, my PS2 KOC's turntable doesn't work due to the sensor. Does it happen often to PS2 KOC or have I got bad luck?
So, Konami is running big promotion right now, with tons of prizes and whatnot relating to Bemani, but you have to use Paseli to play their online crane game for chance to win prizes. I've tried to play a few times, and everytime I go to play, via using your Konami ID pw, it says "verification failed", and won't let me actually play the game. Is this an IP issue? Like, would using a VPN circumvent this? I know I'm using the correct password, it just keep blocking me. Anybody else playing this right now?
Bought the premium generator for the Darkness and Megumin system voices. They show up on konasute but they aren’t in my crew menu on the US Valkyrie cabinets. Unfortunately my Round1 replaced their jp sdvx cabs with a second Valk model, so I can’t compare between the two. I’ve bought Fubuki and other crew before and they work. The Konasuba bottom screens don’t work either.
I wonder if this has anything to do with them sorta trying to ‘clean up’ the game for US markets, ie removing Rasis as a default navigator and censoring some song cover art. Gonna be mad if I just can’t use the content I paid for just for these dumb changes they’re making to US versions. T_T
Right now is out of stock. Anyone has an idea on when it comes back again?
I’ve been playing with a USKOC but sometimes the keys get stuck.
So for someone who has never played on any bemani arcade cab before, and has no idea how it works, how do you navigate to stuff and what settings you recommend? stuff like that?
maybe a dumb question... but I recently lost my e-amuse card (the normal boring red e-amuse design), so I've used this as an excuse to get one of those passes with a special design on them (off Buyee likely).
I was interested in getting the DDR World one, but there isn't an Amusement IC logo on it... I would suspect that Konami wouldn't be dumb enough to just... not, but this is Konami we are talking about.
Anyways just looking to see if anyone else had experience with these.
thanks for all the suggestions on my last post, you guys are awesome! anyway, does Yuancon ship to ireland?
Hello!
I own a Yuancon minidx, and I just got infinitas. The issue is, I play 2p and whenever I try to play a chart, the notes are flipped in correspondence to my keys. So if I hit the leftmost button, the rightmost lane inputs, etc. I have the controller in "infinitas" mode as per Yuan's youtube guide; what else am I doing wrong here? I've tried rebinding the keys in the menu before the game starts, but that literally does nothing. I also can't read japanese so idk if I'm even rebinding the keys.
The only solution I can thing of, and the one I'm most afraid of, is that Yuan's pin layout is intended to matter. So I need to "1" connection going to what infinitas thinks button 1 is, and so forth. Currently I have it switched, and this is only because the wires are not long enough to reach the flipped configuration. The wires are just long enough to connect the respective button and pinout in 1P; by virtue of the arduino being asymmetrical, this doesn't work out with 2P. And even in Yuan's test video, 2P is used. I mean, there has to be a way to rebind the keys right?
any help is appreciated
I just found out that only japanese citizens can participate in the sdvx floor contests.
Is there really no workaround to participate as a non japanese citizen?
For example if I could collaborate with a japanese producer and do some of the drums or melodies could he still apply for the contest, with me just being a co-producer?
If anyone knows more about that topic please let me know
I have good rhythm game experience, so I can see myself playing lvl 18+ stuff once i get more used to the controls. However, I've noticed that people have said that the default buttons/switches/springs might not perform as well/last as long and was wondering what was important to prioritize because $100 just for sanwa's seems crazy expensive for me.
The Yuancon is $270 with 20/40g springs
The Faucetwo is $310 but has 50/100g omron buttons and 20/40g springs
If you think that the base controllers are perfectly fine without modding, or have your own mods to share that would be good to know too!
i’m looking for something from 100 - 170 right now, the only two i can think of are a PS2 KOC with an adapter or a MiniDX but i want to know if you guys have any other ideas. there’s no iidx cabs in my country so i basically have to get a controller.
Anyone have a list of keyboard layouts for PMS? Also which layout would you reccommend? I am looking for a layout that is comfortable for hands.
A local arcade has a Generator Real and I'm down to waste some of my money, but the menus aren't translated (I'm in Australia if that makes a difference, I know there's some JP exclusive pulls). Is there a guide (even if I have to translate it) or a translation of the menus somewhere? Thank you!!
As far as I can see, this hasent been asked before but does anyone have the dimensions for the 5th installment of cabinets, primary the height? I'm surprised by how many sellers cannot answer this for me and the last thing I want to do is buy one, get it over to me only to find it doesn't fit.
Thank you so, so much in advance, I can't find this information anywhere
I went to japan back in 2018 and got an e-amusement pass at an arcade there, and I haven't used it since. I might now have an opportunity to play some sdvx on a cab and i'm not sure if my username and save data will still be retained on the card. Sorry if this is a noob question just not sure if i'll need to start from scratch or not. Also, if it matters i'd be using a machine located in Canada. Appreciate the help.
i’m (very) new to pop’n music but i don’t know which one to get 😔 only console releases i don’t got a windows for pop’n music lively
Hi all!
Recently got into Beatmania starting from the very beginning. Saw a video of someone playing the first one in an emulator and instantly got obsessed with the weird underground club aesthetic, godawful late 90s sampled electronic music and the weird background videos. Also the gameplay. The gameplay is insanely addicting. I've been moving through the games in chronological order and having a lot of fun. There's no IIDX cabs in my state and I'm not going all the way to Sydney just to try it, but there is an arcade with a Club Mix machine (also drummania running PF9mix, fun but insanely hard) and I adore being able to actually play in person.
Just wondering if it's possible to play the 2P side on 5 key machines? I know you can with IIDX cabs. I'm left handed in a few things including rhythm games so I don't like twisting left and I'd prefer to be standing in the middle.
Also just wondering about whenever I end up moving over to IIDX (I'm trying to see if I can get a decent used controller for 'cheap'), how the hell do people focus on the game with the giant 'GREAT/POOR' text constantly popping up over everything and the giant ass light up bars and glitter and the insanely flashy videos? When I've seen IIDX footage it seems insanely cluttered, as opposed to 5 key which feels pretty clean to me.
turntable on the left is a travesty by the way haha
edit: By the 2P side I meant I want to play on the right side of the machine, not the left side. I know the button orientations are the same. I just want to play on the right side.
Hey guys! i just got into beatmania IIDX and i went on buyee to get a 7 key controller, i’m looking to mod it but the penny mod doesn’t seem to be working out for me, and i want to switch to microswitches, or use a different kind of mod if anyone can help me i’d be very very thankful!
Major question here. I've been playing DDR2 Super Nova, and my Childhood song (Red Zone) has an R34, and the RX7 in the video. But, i was wondering. Why is there like, no proper documentation, or other photos of both the Bemani Motor cars? I want to build an EXACT replica to the BM D01 (the RX7.)
If anyone can answer my question, or perhaps help me. Thank you.
I’m trying to dig out my old Bemani setup and get IIDX games running on my japanese PS2, but the only TV i have now is HDMI. I’ve gone through a couple PS2-to-HDMI converters from Amazon that work with my american PS2 but not my Japanese (thick) ps2.
Of course there’s a chance my PS2 just bit the dust on its video output, but does anyone here have a converter that you know works for this, so I can at least rule that out as the issue?
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Been playing usc and just got konasute all setup. I know blaster gate isn't a thing but s lot of songs say something on Japanese and then blaster gate, and are locked. I don't have much time on cab either if that means anything. I also only have skill analyzer for first Dan (4-5 different options for 1st Dan) and I'd like to try 4th and 5th but I don't have any options to do so, even for second. Probably super noob question but I'm lost
I'm a new player and really like 666 Kureha and would like to get it, but I heard about how I need card connect for it and I don't know what's the difference between the two.
just saw on the new iidx game and I saw no free mode. this also mean that hazard and free+ is also gone???
