550 Paracord

What is the best source for 550 Paracord? Is Paracord Planet typically preferred? Im new to Begleri and want to try making some of my own. I have a few sets from Aroundsquare and I really like their Paracord but don’t know the source. Thank you all in advance!

Are the ball on the begleri supposed to hit your hand? They hurttt

I made a begleri and I'm finally playing with it but the two nuts on the end keep hitting my hand and it hurtss. Should the ends also be bigger so they're easier to grab?

Small hands?

I keep seeing the standard length for a begleri is 6 inches but if my hands are small (fingers outstretched 4-4½ inches) should i make my begleri that length instead?

New to Begleri and Loving It! Any Tips for a Beginner?

Hi there,

I got into begleri about 2 months ago, and I’m really loving it!

I was always looking for something to play around with when I'm just existing somewhere, and I finally found it 🙂

I started with a monkeyfist and quickly got my mini Titans and mini Hydras from Aroundsquare. They look so nice and play so well <3

So far, I’ve learned what I think are the basics:

  • Basic rebounds
  • Slips, of course (they feel very natural and make it feel smooth)
  • Gap transfers (only the basic ones using the top grip to switch)
  • Single-finger wraps (index and middle, sometimes pinky and thumb)
  • Two-finger wraps (index-middle and middle-ring)
  • Index finger rolls (still failing a lot, and I’m not really sure if I’m even doing it correctly)
  • Infinite spin pop (index finger)

With that set, I have quite a bit of fun mixing it all together. I’m very much a beginner still, and I want to improve. Overall, I like to combine everything and keep up the momentum.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should focus on? I feel like rolls are pretty nice; they look amazing if you can do them consistently. They’re also really hard to learn.

I’d be very happy for any suggestions or resources if you have some 🙂

Types of begleri

Question: I bought a couple of begleri’s one made from 2 lava stones and two others with multiple beads. Now I just want to know what the ones with multiple beads are called. I saw a guy on yt call it prison style begleri’s but I only found that one video if I search for this syle. Also for the measurements for these, do i need to measure from the most inner beads?

Early thankss !!

My Intro to Begleri

Hey all, I just learned about begleri a few days ago, but I've been a pen spinner since about 2010 so it instantly grabbed my attention. I just wanted to share some of the sets I've built over the last few days. Included are the weights of each individual "bead" in grams. They were prototyped from top to bottom using various YouTube videos. While the monkey fist is by far my favorite, the bearings I had were way too big.

Doing 6 sets over these last few days helped me dial in my my preferred length and weight. I've been learning the long game with plans to learn short with a figure eight knot. The bottom 2 are my current go-tos but I've got an assortment of ball bearing coming tomorrow to I'll definitely have a few more monkey fists. Feel free to leave me some feedback

Note: I also learned all these knots within those few days, the toughest part to me is merging clipped ends of cord lol. Thankfully I've got about 5000ft laying around.

Drips in new colors

For anyone curious on how I designed these years ago. I was painting my basement and overflowed a can of paint. I looked at the can and decided I could make a bead that somewhat resembled it.

Something cool I made

My latest creation. I'm no longer making the original Phenomz, so I've moved onto V2. Changed the shape slightly to make them more uniform on both ends. Then added grooves near the ends. Inside those grooves I've been laser etching some designs. I think these turned out amazing.
