I heard of begleri somewhere last week and it caught my attention, so I looked around a bit and decided I'd try to make one myself instead of buying one.
How did I do?
Over the last 4 years I have made about 75 begleri.
This one is my favorite.
It's paracord, steel ball bearings, and a self-designed 3d printed housing.
How would I go about making a begleri look like it is from monkey finger with a crazy hydrodipped design
I currently own a barrel shape, that's around 17g 14mm dia, 15mm length. I really love them, but do want to get an extra set. Got my eyes down to Hypes, mini-Hypes, Delta or Aurora all in Titanium. Had Something similar to Hydras out of Brass - those were a bit too heavy for me, coming in to ~27is grams.
Also if you have experience with MKUs - input would be appreciated, Looking into Milos right now, not sure 10 or 12 mm would be ideal. Any input appreciated.
I've been having fun making monkey fist begleri. I've bought a few metal ones (as seen in the background), however the noise irritates my wife so I'm usually playing with a monkey fist style. Last night I had a dream. Maybe this has been done before? I've seen combinations of paracord where you fuse it together but didn't have much luck with that. With this one, I've tied two small nuts on to each end of the white cord and then made a monkey fist around it. Pretty darn happy with how it's turned out!
Christmas lists are being made at the moment and my in-laws have a $65 secret Santa tradition. Any suggestions? I'd prefer non-Amazon but any advice is welcome.

Took a while but I think 6.5 inches is my ideal length
Hey there, I'm Opa and I'm making 3d printed begleri beads 🍒
This weekend I'll leave some of them in Barcelona, you can check my ig stories for details and where to find them (free to grab) https://www.instagram.com/opastai/profilecard/?igsh=MWttajEyZm16dGs1OQ==
This one are called CherryBegleri ✌🏻
Haven’t posted in a while but recently got back into begleri! This is the combo I fidget with while working or watching tv.
Finally after ages of buying the wrong beads, string and everything you can think of I’ve started making my own Begleris. What you guys think? Anyone got anything they’re especially happy with?
