Hi!
I received a text from Washington County when my ballot went out in the mail and another text that it was received and would be counted. A friend in Multnomah County said her ballot tracking text informed her when hers was "accepted and counted".
Does Washington County inform when ballots have been accepted and counted? The last text I received was on the 22nd saying it was received and would be counted, but nothing since. Not sure if I should be reaching out to them or not.
Thanks!
Hey neighbors,
I’m stuck in a toxic ass job and need to get out. Have a plan to start my own thing but thinking of DD in between.
What’s it been like if any Dashers are on here? I don’t expect it to be a lot, but curious how it’s been going and average daily income.
I’m sure dinner time and lunch time are peak times to Dash.
Thank you 🙏
I really need help finding somewhere that will listen to my boyfriend. He recently had a psychotic break and every time we get him to the hospital they barely give a shit and never hold him for more than a few hours/just pumping him with drugs that arent working. im getting really fucking frustrated with our trash american Healthcare system because he clearly needs help and no body professional will step up and do it!!! No wonder so many people in his boat are out on the streets homeless and getting worse by the day!!!
Anyone know why MOD Pizza is closed on evergreen? It's "boarded" with paper so you can't see inside, and the paper on the door just apologizes for the inconvenience.
ETA: I don't know if it's permanently closed, the sign says just today. It seems sudden, there are some visible Halloween decorations.

Excited to see you all there! You’ll get your own station and molds. Plus baggies to take your goodies home and gloves to keep things clean.
All natural GF vegan gummies!
Please stop littering our mailboxes on the daily with your flyers! I urge you to think about the environment. We got the message the first few times you sent it!
It seems this woman hit someone and is at fault, she could not and would not provide any form of ID, correct name, or address. Drives a blacked out Cadillac escalade. See attached photo.
I saw a few days ago, that someone posted about Birch Point being sold to Greystar. Everyone started wondering about Emerald Place. I just got our notice that we are being sold to MG Properties.
I'm not familiar with them. Does anyone have anything to say on them?
Does anyone here remember Pencil Pals/Sandcastle Day Care? It was on Hall near 5th street. I was there for pre-school and in the summers & after school from around 1984 to the late 80s. It's gone now and the building has been torn down. I'm just curious if anyone went there as a kid.
Sounded like it came from downtown area
What was that?
I have an appointment for a REAL ID scheduled at the Beaverton DMV and the confirmation email says to check in 10 minutes before, but doesn't have any information about how/where to do that. I've never been to this DMV and any time I've been to another DMV I've just done walk-in. Is there a special check in desk or kiosk, or do I just wait in line like normal? Thanks!
Ways to make friends around this area? 23M. At that age where is hard to make friends lol
Please don’t roast me but I miss the kind of salons where you get really good service (not entitled hairstylists who argue with you when they make a mistake) and offer you coffee or tea. It’s might seem minor but I really haven’t found any decent places.
I’m willing to go anywhere in the area even into Portland even though I live near the Beaverton/Hillsboro line.
Hello I am interested in adopting a sphynx if anyone knows where too?
So I'm from the east coast. I've lived here for the last 7 years and I don't understand the obsession with smash-burgers... Sure, they're good from time to time but it's all I can seem to find on top 10 lists and online suggestions. I'm looking for a thick, medium rare/medium juicy AF thick burger. I'm also trying very hard to veer away from the quick-takeout pre-formed, blanched, dry or frozen hockey-puck "thick" burgers.
The most popular burgers back east are custom blends of short rib, chuck, ribeye, brisket etc... I worked for many years in the service industry in Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York City. If you care to take a look at what I'm thinking look here: Rouge (Philly), Capital Grille (DC), Good Dog Bar (Philly), Dumont Burger (NYC), Peter Luger's (NYC) etc...
Help me find what I've been missing! Would love to hear everyone's opinion/experiences!
Are there any churches in Beaverton or surrounding areas where they have separate Sunday services/school/gathering for middle and high schoolers?
Does anyone know of any businesses that could benefit from a candy machine? I’m starting a candy machine business and I am trying to land my first location.
I’ve called barbershops, car repair shops, restaurants, bars & pubs, entertainment centers, gaming stores. I can’t seem to find a yes. Getting a bit discouraged, but I don’t want that to stop me. I would like love to turn this into something.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
I have a couple of young teenagers I help take care of that have asked me if they can go trick or treating this year. Are there any good areas in Beaverton that I could take them on Halloween for either trick or treating or trunk or treating?
other than geraldi's who knows where the good stuff at
If you want to run or walk on Thanksgiving morning I'm going to mark routes for 5k and 2 miles starting at Mountainside High School at 7 am on November 28. This is not a race, just a meet up on an open course.
Bring a pie to contribute to the exchange and you'll get to take one home. (So use a disposable pie tin or one you don't need back.)
We will start drawing pie numbers at 7:45ish. You can take your pie and head out or sit and chat for a bit. I will stay until 8:30am to facilitate the pie exchange so plan your start time to be finished before that. Bring warm clothes to layer after you finish!
If the weather is ick we will still meet. If that's the case I'll figure out a covered area to meet.
More exact meeting location, and the routes, to be posted!
The routes will be open to all traffic so you are on your own for safety. Routes will be on sidewalks but will include road crossing. This would be suitable for walking with strollers.
As we get closer please DM me to RSVP so I can get an idea of how many people.
Edited to correct start time
Note: course descriptions added 10/28 in comments.
Anyone live near Elmonica station off baseline? There is constant construction going on there. There is a building going up during the day, and a night crew doing something on the road at night. It’s always crazy loud and I hate that it’s constantly noisy in this area
Hi, is anyone know what is the price to practice to ilovekickboxing?
Thinking of ditching the high cost of Verizon for Mint Mobile and wondering what people in the area think of their service?
Hi! I’m relocating to Beaverton soon for work. I’m looking for a quiet apartment near greenery and walking/biking trails (preferably within walking distance) while also being close to a max station.
So far Pallas Townhomes and Apartments has been coming up/checking off a lot of these boxes, I’ve seen some good reviews here and online but would love some recent feedback or other recommendations of places that fit the criteria.
Thank you!
Friends of Trees is not available.
Any good, non-exorbitant recs for purchasing and planting a street tree?
Greystar is taking over our apartment complex? How cooked are we?
Hi! I’m looking for a nail salon that’s has their employees all fully licensed and care about the health of the nail. I went to a more convenience shop place in September and they absolutely destroyed my natural nail. I only get my nails done once every 1.5-2 years, and she thinned them out horribly and a ton of scarring and even some full chunks of my nail missing.
I need to get gel removed from my natural nails and I’m looking for someone who won’t mess them up even more than they already are. Not looking for another manicure whatsoever, just proper removal.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Hey all! I'm a local photographer looking to take advantage of the season. Any places in town you've noticed that are especially beautiful right now?
